I have buy a plugin few days ago ( wo IMDb Automator but when iam try to support they are not respond and they are not refund my money..
I've had a profoundly disappointing experience with Codecanyon/Envato, and I felt compelled to share my thoughts, especially regarding the NFT marketplace script I purchased. It's unfortunate to say that I believe they are now engaging in questionable practices that have left me feeling scammed.
The script in question was a promise of a fully functional NFT marketplace, complete with bids, minting, selling, and auctions. It was created by a company called BD Task and sold on Codecanyon. However, my experience with this product has been nothing short of a nightmare.
The primary issue I've encountered is their refusal to honor refund requests for products that simply do not work as described. Despite the script's enticing description and promises, it became evident that it was neither working nor complete. Attempting to seek assistance through their support channels only led to dead ends. The lack of support for a product that was supposed to include it is inexcusable.
What's even more troubling is the response I received when I reached out for help. I was informed that fixing the script to work as expected would cost an additional $1000. This is an absurd proposition, especially when the functionality in question should have been included in the product's support package. It's clear that some sellers on their platform are exploiting customers by selling incomplete and non-functional products, with no intention of providing the promised support.
Adding to my frustration, my request for a refund was blatantly ignored. It's evident that Codecanyon/Envato has little regard for customers who have been left high and dry with malfunctioning products.
To make matters worse, even after reaching out to Envato for assistance, the process has been incredibly drawn out, with redundant requests for the same information and no tangible progress.
In conclusion, based on my experience, Codecanyon/Envato's practices appear to be shifting towards a platform where sellers can get away with peddling non-working products and avoiding their responsibilities. This raises serious questions about their integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. I urge potential buyers to exercise caution when considering purchases from this platform, as you might end up with a product that doesn't work and an unresponsive support system, leaving you with no recourse. You can see the screen shots I have bought 11 scripts or plug in from them since being a client and all pretty much was happy with until this one which they refuse to help on.
Here's my review after years of being on this place. Some of the code I bought did not work. I only received a refund for a few of those items. The rest? They say I was not eligible. Whatever that means. It's good to be the supreme judge isn't it? You don't have any possible objections.
Furthermore they delete honest reviews about other plugins/themes. I would have not believed that if it did not happen to me. I suspect that probably authors can bribe them into doing that. What happened is that I was very dissatisfied with a plugin's support. Sneakily these plugin introduced some measures that limit the plugins functionality. I've wrote about this matter on the product page and have given them a negative rating for that. To my surprise no one wrote about it before in the last weeks since this was happening. Or that's what I thought. Shortly after leaving the bad review for this user it was removed and I have received a threatening email that I should not post defamatory content or my account will get suspended. There was not ONE defamatory word posted in my review. I was NOT being offensive in even one sentence.
It immediately became clear to me that this must have been the reason for a full 5.00 star rating on all the authors plugins. I've not seen this before. You don't get to see a full 5.00 rating often, let alone on all the three plugins. Could it be that the plugins are really that good and no single user complained about anything at all? Not really possible in this day and age is it? Even if you have the best code/support (which of course is not the case here). It became clear to me then they are intentionally removing all the negative reviews from others as well! Either they are being paid for that by the authors or the authors themselves are connected to the company in some way.
At the end of their (ENVATO THEMSELVES) threatening email they also said that my account will be removed shall my "behaviour" continue. Effectively they did tell me that if I share a review once again they will remove me from their place. What a sellout.
They sell unfinished, bugged, broken software. Customer service is tragic. They remove unfavourable opinions about bad software without any reason.
CodeCanyon has a rating of 1.3 stars from 44 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with CodeCanyon most frequently mention and customer service. CodeCanyon ranks 32nd among Script sites.
