Most men reaching out to me are either asian and 20 years younger than me or they are lumberjacks who are widowers from Europe. Lol- I never saw so many lumberjacks in one place. They all want my phone number after 5 minutes of texting and leave the conversation when i hesitate to give it. Once, i shared s google number and the left the conversation as well.

I found this site after using okc for a couple years. The best part is the people on the site... it has more authentic guys and less trolling creepy guys. I do with they had more questions like Okc that cater to the poly community though

My experience so far has been good. A lot of genuine guys, could go out and date. However, caught one scammer with no internet trail. Goes by the name of Kim Min Ho, says he's Korean. He'll ask you to quickly change to WhatsApp or WeChat and uses the number *******320. He works as an automation engineer for an offshore company in Singapore. Unlike other scammers, his modus operandi is unusual. He will message you in the morning, lunch hours and after office hours. He's not eager and will not ask for your personal information. He only asked for USD 1500 three months after matching on CMB. He will also not shy away from telephone calls but will not do video calls because of his 'work'.

Just putting this here so that other women will be aware and that this poor chap who's identity has been used can be made aware.

Despite paying for premium, I find very few profiles available in my age range (over 35). Not scammers like I'm reading about here, though I had one connection early on with a woman who seemed to be a 10' interested in me. Now I wonder if that was a teaser scam. Not a single date from this site

Please look for another way to meet people. Seriously I thought match was bad. Three months on this site i only talked to four people. Three of them were scam artists who claim to be in Dallas ended it up being in Houston and South Carolina With the same old story of the parents being killed in car accidents or cancer. I usually get 3 to 4 bagels per day but its pretty apparent to me that these people are fake. At the same time they try to make you buy the worthless bagels so you can like someone. Its a total scam. Not advertising for Zoosk or match but I did make contact with so many people there.

You pay a hefty sum for premium membership but are required to pay more on top of this if you expect this app to be even half way functional. Then, you are given matches each day without even having to fill out a questionnaire. Bizarre. Don't ask me how I got sucked into to paying for the site but In did. Haven't had a date yet. Worst dating site I have ever used. Even when you do get a match the chat function doesn't work. No local help desk from what I can gather. Totally stupid and waste of time app. Don't get sucked in like I did.

Every man here claims to be traveling abroad within 2 days of making a connection. BEWARE. They will claim their phones dont work well enough for face time but just good enough to send texts. The stories are complex and within a few days they will create a sob story asking for money. I have reported 5 men for fraudulent activity.

This is the most non-user friendly site ever. You fill out your preferences, yet they match you with people who are way out of your age range and way out of your distance limitations. When you finally contact someone in customer support, they say document and send us photos of your issue. First of all, who has time for this and who saves people's profiles you deleted? Finally after persistently asking for a refund, they send you a page of instructions on how to request a refund from Apple. Now this is their "scape goat" as Apple does not give refunds when you purchased the subscription legally through your phone app. I would join ANY other site than this...

I really dislike this dating app. You are "served" a limited number of bagels based on an algorithm you have no control over. Those people who like you and want to engage with you never respond. And the company entices you to pay more for additional benefits. Why would you pay for more of nothing? I've used Match and paid for it. Now on OK Cupid (which is free) and I have had a number of nice guys contacting me and willing to meet. I won't be resubscribing to this one. Too bad. I had strong hopes that this app would be different.

A lot of fake profiles. I think they purposely make them to collect more money. It is also very expensive. You have to pay for each bagel. So, for example, I have successfully connected with 20 nice guys (too good to be true) They all sent me likes and connected with me. Therefore they also used their bagels, but afterward - no conversations... It is just too weird. If they would be real people and they paid money, then they would communicate. Obviously fake! It is too easy to create nice profiles of handsome doctors and lawyers, etc so people pay more money.

Hey girls, please be careful of this scammer. He claimed himself born in HK and raised in California, working as engineer of hydropower. Now, running his own company n is handling the maintenance project of dam offshore in Sweden. In the first few weeks, he keeps sending you messages everyday, step by step to lure you to treat him as friend. And then, he will send you his child pic, staff card, details of his client, supplier (both are well-known companies). He just copied the info from their official website to make everything real.

He will ask you to help him settle the payment to offshore bank agent so that his account could be activated to pay his supplier. He will involve his so-called contract company too. Everything involves his client's instruction. He will mentioned many parties to you, such as well-known hydropower company, supplier, evaluation report, proforma invoice, pay check from his client.

Girls, please be careful!

I've recently found a few profiles that looked like one of the founders. Actually, it was.
I alerted customer service and they acknowledged that they were fake.
What's intriguing to me is that of all people... why would or how would they let fake profiles of one of their founders be trolling around unless it was done intentionally.
I haven't heard back from customer service about this except the fact that they took down the so called "fake profiles".
I believe they're trying to conduct some beta testing at the expense of real users

At least half of the men I get matched with are scammers. Usually foreign but not obviously (have to pay attention to their email using mum instead of mom and where they went to college) and right away they ask for your email or phone number or to go to What's App... seriously how dumb do they think we are?! I've reported at least a few but pretty disappointing.

The only way you can supposedly delete an account is to email Coffee meets bagel. I have emailed them 5 times in the last month and they won't respond. Terrible app with no good matches and you can never delete it.

He claimed to be from Montreal, basically from his mobile no. He also got a Hong Kong mobile no. Pictures from him mostly taken at home and HK. We texted and called for almost 2 years. Claimed his bank account in Canada being blocked because his Turkish accountant failed to file proper tax record and keep asking for money for different purposes. Trying to contact CMB if can find his profile for reporting to police.

I ended up cancelling my entire pay pal account hoping that would keep Coffee Meets Bagel from renewing my account... their service really is awful. I tried emailing them and contacting them with pictures of my problem and they only sent back automated responses that did not work.

Nine out of ten profiles are fake. They will say they prefer to chat on WhatsApp etc.
So it's more difficult to be reporter. They are always not near your location and will find many excuses for not meeting up but very glad to continue chatting

I tried to use this site because a friend likes it. I got as far as downloading the app and putting in my info but had no idea where to go from there. I emailed them about trying to get info on email or on my regular computer but they said it all had to be done on my phone, My screen is too tiny for that

Scammer use photos of this man to attract woman... i'm stupid enough to fell into the scam. If anyone know this person, please let him know his photos are stolen to scam women. And to all women, don't charmed by handsome face and understanding, respectful characters. If he said he is alone, orphan, ex-gf betrayed him with his best friend, please walk away. 99.9% is scam.

CMB, please block if anyone created account with these photos or photo of this man.

Don't waste your time and money! I deleted app after 2weeks but paid for 3months. It's a joke with all the engineers and oil drillers. How do they get away with this company?

Tip for consumers:
They don’t have customer service, just take the loss and run

So frustrated. Tired of wasting money on this site. So done. If you get a guy that doesn't write English well. Says you "look pretty good" lol, and doesn't understand expressions like "oh dear, gotta run"... Clear sign he's a scammer. Unfortunately, can't trust any of them anymore. This latest one wants to send me money from Belgium to buy him a house. Hahahahahaha

Online dating is just a giant waste if time. That, and men are $#*!s. May have to resign myself to being perfectly content single. I am my own best company. My kids too!

Wow, welcome to Internet reality and disgusting scammers. I had no idea how bad this situation had become. Guys with American sounding names who mysteriously couldn't speak English, or sounded African but were from "Sweden". Just put my account on an indefinite HOLD. You should do the same.

Clues: Guy claims to be an engineer. Educated outside the US. Doesn't have a smooth grasp on English. Says he's got an urgent contract and will be leaving the country at any moment. Tomorrow, the next day. It's always soon. Pushes to switch from CMB to private chat. Wants more pictures. Give them enough time and the inconsistencies (or their high creep level) will reveal itself. I gave this a trial run with a one-time purchase of beans. Not going to renew.

Same story as many of the other women on here. Claims to be 35 years old. Says he is of Sicilian descent. Born in SoCal but grew up in Europe. Recently moved to Scottsdale AZ from New York. (Interestingly, his phone number does show it is from New York). Claims to be a freelance project manager for industrial solar plants. He's working on a "tender"/bid proposal and has a fast approaching deadline. Says he was previously engaged and now looking for true love. He would text at very odd hours, sometimes at midnight, 4am or 6am, again claiming to be working on his "tender." Did not get to him asking for money.

Like many others, I tried searching his photos but nothing came up until this last one he sent me of him in a suit. Seems like he has a stash of photos he recycles through to avoid being caught. Ladies please beware. I'm uploading all the photos here so if you do search him, he'll come up.

Since using CMB every guy that I've talked to is a scammer. Stories are all the same, plus they don't usually put up a photo on their WhatsApp. Why? Cos they probably using a few different faces at a time. I've blocked & reported all these profiles. Dating websites should take some responsibility & clean them out as much as possible. I don't see CMB doing much. SO avoid these So called overseas workers, on contracts, oil rigs, engineers, military etc... never depart with your money even if they send all these stolen photos of kids, houses, the lot.
Same old tricks!

The profiles appear legitimate. Some are even using photographs with children and adults wearing sports jerseys that are local to my area (university), but after some back and forth in conversation, it is clear they are fraudulent.
Example: cardiologist who claims to work at a specific hospital but doesn't show up on their website as an employee; military man who says he was at the "base" all day but doesn't understand the question "what branch of the military are you in?" or the guy who's profile says he went to "university of arts in italy" on his profile, but when asked where he went to university he said "Germany". Literally, every contact I've had on here has been a scammer. BEWARE! There's a reporting option but these people are slick. It took multiple conversations for me to realize they were not real. There's no way to detail the scammer issue - simply report the profile and you unmatch with them. There's no verification going on at the back end to prevent this.
