My friends tell me to try this site. Because she got a BF and now 've been together for 8 years.Another one they are getting married. But no luck for me.I am still looking.lol I haven't met scammers yet.lucky me but I have seen some scam 's profile that post here.It still active on CMB tho.
Most men reaching out to me are either asian and 20 years younger than me or they are lumberjacks who are widowers from Europe. Lol- I never saw so many lumberjacks in one place. They all want my phone number after 5 minutes of texting and leave the conversation when i hesitate to give it. Once, i shared s google number and the left the conversation as well.
I am working my little butt off trying to get some dates but not much is happening. Coffee Meets Bagel has been around a long time so I figured it might be a good place to start but my buddy keeps telling me I should have gone with WeJustFit.com as it's more modern (whatever that means lol) and popular. I dont know. I've seen the ads for CMB and figured it made sense to start there. Like the app and the general simplicity but maybe he's right and it's time to switch or even double down with a couple of sites at the same time, could give me the boost I need. Oh well, onwards and upwards, happy hunting folks:-)

I have found success on other dating apps but was hoping to find more professional and educated men like myself on CMB. Yes it showed me men like this - all turned out to be scammers. How many people can actually be in UAE or on an oil rig in Kuwait at the moment. Yes they are rich but suddenly have a problem and need to ask me for thousands of dollars. Oh and they love me. We have barely talked and I don't know you. Take a hike scammer. I haven't met anyone I can trust and feel there is no control over who I can "like". Maybe there are real guys on it but I haven't found them. Most disappointed in this app.

I spent time creating a well written profile when joining this site and tried it out for several months. I didn't find a single guy shown to me at noon remotely appealing--my reaction was literally--yikes! I tried changing my match criteria to be more specific about who I'd be into and I went for two solid months of receiving zero matches before emailing them asking them to delete my account. You only get quality after a lot of quantity, and this site simply doesn't have that.
Tip for consumers:
I seriously had better luck on tinder than this crappy app. Don't waste precious phone storage downloading it!

My experience with CMB is pretty much like everyone elses experience. Met back to back scammers, and all the ones that liked me had similar profiles of the scammers I had to talk to.
Both are engineers, live in the US, but one is in Cyprus on a contract and the other on a mining ship for the next six weeks.
Always an excuse as to why they cannot video chat, originally from Europe, sick mothers in England, and no siblings, and so on. After my own experiences and reading that others are meeting the same men, I just deleted my account. Good concept, but extremely poor vetting process of the men.

1 contact, a scammer. Otherwise it's an empty app, unable to use. Got my money and froze my account. No reason. CMB staff refuse to communicate with me.

An orthopaedic surgeon working for Syrian American Medical Society in Syria. He claims that he needs help to receive the money that he will be shipping from Syria. The photos of the money and safe are from scam sites. Please beware.

This company allows so many scammers and fake profiles. In my daily dozen, usually 75% are fake profiles, they all say they're from China and use stock pictures. Just to see what would happen, I matched with a couple and they responded with the exact same sticker emoji at the exact same time. I feel bad for any Asian person who wishes to use the service to actually find a relationship because with the amount of scammers that pretend to be Chinese, they're making it difficult for women to determine who is for real. Complete waste of time.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid!

I've been on various dating sites on and off if since my divorce 6 years ago. I've noticed in the last 6 months on CMB I've matched over 100 women. Very few of them typed words - most of them use the bagel icons like "hello" "your number"? Etc. I match with attractive Asian women as this is my taste in women. So out of 100 women I've matched with 100 of them or 100% are fake. They will not video chat "face only" for even 1 second for verification. Every one of them say word for word " I won't video even for a second to verify my profile for you - until we text for a long time to become familiar. Obviously this doesn't make any sense. On other dating sights people who are serious have pushed me to video to verify. Half of the matches ( about 50 out of 100) on CMB were removed before I can even chat with them as they were reported from others as being fake. I just matched with another fake Asian profile that deleted her match with me when I asked her her favorite unique restaurants in Naperville IL which has over 100 independently owned restaurants and coffee shops - as they had no answer being fake and probably a man from Africa. So the bottom line is, if a woman on CMB is an 8 or above it looks it's nearly if not 100% spam. Don't bother using them. I used to get an lot of apology emails from CMB after all the fakes they stopped answering my complaints as they know their website has been taken over from Bots. If you join them and pay money - then you're literally burning your money. Don't bother - CMB is a fake scam.

Basically, every single person I chatted with got kicked for suspicious behavior. It's all scammers. I tried to get my bean money back from Apple but was beyond their 60-day refund date. So I lost $50+ to these $#*!s. SHUT THEM DOWN!

Met this guy online and he said he was a surgeon working for UN but based in Yemen until April 2019. His name is "Evans". He quickly wanted to move the chats to another app (WeChat)
He said he has a daughter and son based in US whom is being looked after by a nurse and not his ex-wife.
He lives in HK and whilst chatting to him in February, he declared his love early on in the relationship even though we did not really chat too in-depth about anything in particular.
I started to ignore him and he got more and more desperate. I think he was going to ask me for money but I blocked him.
Please be alert when talking to him.

The caliber of men definitely is great, but I found the app confusing and not conducive to exchanges; in a month's membership I only had one date. When I tried to unsubscribe because of the meager results, I found the process so tricky that it took me several tries. After I finally managed, I got the receipt for the next month. When I reported the problem, I instantly got an automated response saying that I didn't have a case for a refund. Thumbs way down for that deceitful practice.

I rarely see a male profile that looks like a real person in my age bracket (49-57). There are a lot of patterns to the scam profiles which, in addition to the strange English, makes them easy to spot.

I connected with guy Ralph Conner, the name srated in his profile... He is a African credit card scammer... Within 1 month the sad sorry started. He was working in Turkey, but the only way he could get paid, is I'd I sent him my credit card number, and they will use my line of credit to pay him and then deposit the money back into my account... Scammer... other than that I have connected with some good guys that I still talk to!

I have been on this site for six months now and I am still to see a profile that is of a real person that lives in my city. All the profiles I see are of men either in the oil and gas field or engineers. 95% supposedly have degrees from universities in Finland, Sweden or Israel. I have written to Coffee Meets Bagles on several occasions about The incredibly large percentage of scammers they have, but they don't care

This company is very suspicious. The family run and owned company has very interesting investors from Indonesia. The company maybe a front for a money laundering operation. We do not know. And, the data is being sold off to foreign countries that are hostile to the United States of America.

I believe I met the same scammer as Jac T and Jessica A, formerly Terry and now known as Chao or Paul (Facebook profile Chao Paul). Architect from Leicester, has a UK mobile number, lives there and works on building design projects. Dad passed away from HK, Korean mom very sick (initially minor surgery) in hospital. No siblings no relatives. Claimed to be from HK and looking for matches from HK. He is a good looking Korean (speaks native English) and would send you photos and videos with his dog Teddy. In the end he had an emergency and asked to borrow 700 pounds to pay for his mom hospital bill. I said no and he kept messaging and sent me a photo of the bill. I told him UK hospital treatment is free and his bill is not in pounds. He then insulted me and blocked me on WeChat. Beware and don't waste time on him ladies!

I connected with a guy who said his name was Ramos Taylor, an Orthopedic doctor that lived in Downtown Los Angeles. I googled his pictures and it belonged to a doctor in Sao Paolo, Brazil name Dr. Bruno Gustavo. Dr. Gustavo has a Twitter and Instagram account and practically post pics of himself and gives out nutritional/health advice on a daily basis.
I am so sick of these fake profiles--I've lost count of the number of fake profiles that have crossed my path--that I automatically do Google research on every guy that I correspond with.
Ladies/Gents... BEWARE!

The most expensive dating app to the point of ridiculous and non usable, even if you paid to do anything you would get no results. Even if it did work would still be ridiculous as it's not even popular, dead app, not comparable to the best ones and charging triple of the tinder cost monthly. I don't know how anyone would fall for this

She went by Stephanie, Native American from North Dakota, Coffee meets Bagel, exchange numbers, was text only said she had a damaged phone. Was an awesome phone number though, when I tried to call it. Eventually, called her out, got a phone call from restricted number saying it was her, but with a heavy African accent. Ask about the accent, she denied it, asked where she was from, she said Austin, ask where she was raised, she said Austin. Definite scam here, beware. I'm just posting this because I deleted the bagel instead of reporting it.

All I can say is-It's a SCAM! Daters beware! Whatever you do, don't pay money. Something is fishy. My potential dates couldn't even write using proper English. LOL! Use caution. Do NOT use this dating site!

Horrible site. First time trying. I am multilingual so amazong how many men there claim to have been born in another country then have the wrong accent or suddenly run if you say a few words in their "native" language. Oh... and never seen so many "doctors and lawyers". The rest are unattractive or looking for 1 night stands. The owners should be investigated or at least be ashamed for the money they try to get from people. Never doing any site experiements again

I have read a lot of the reviews for coffee meets bagel regarding fake profiles, and was sorry to hear people had that experience... On a positive note, my experience was the complete opposite. I met the man of my dreams on this site. We started dating and now we live together and couldnt be happier! He only lived 30 minutes away, but I doubt our paths would have crossed if it werent for coffee meet bagel. Im sure there are a lot more fakes out there than Im aware of and ithats really unfortunate that they have to be weeded out in order to find real people, but dont lose the faith because the real ones are there! Just as you are a good decent person looking to meet someone nice, there are others who long for the same. I hope this gives you guys a little hope.

Not sure if this guy is scam or not but, may be. He has sent several pictures and claims to be former CIA who lost his partner 6 months ago. After a couple weeks of chatting he is sent off on a "mission" to another country and will be gone for 3 weeks. He doesn't have a "NOK" (next of kin) so needs someone for the FRC (financial resource center) to be able to contact. I'm not sure of the type of contact at this point. I already told him if this is some sort of set up to ask for my money or account info he is messing with the wrong person because there is NO way I would do that especially when we haven't met yet face-to-face. He said it isn't and even sent a pic of himself on an airplane preparing for take off. Does this story seem familiar to anyone or have I really met a hero out fighting/serving his country?! Lol Even if legit... I wouldn't give out that info until when/if the time comes that it's an actual in the flesh relationship! Lol

This site is full of fake men profiles. Most of guys I connected were been kick out of the chat room. And most recently I was talking to a guy who claimed himself born and raised up in Belgium and moved to State at his 20s. Several days later, there has another guy show up in the discover section with different pix and age, but exactly same occupation, living location, university, even same profile (exactly same words, sentence). What a bummer!
