My friends tell me to try this site. Because she got a BF and now 've been together for 8 years.Another one they are getting married. But no luck for me.I am still looking.lol I haven't met scammers yet.lucky me but I have seen some scam 's profile that post here.It still active on CMB tho.
Most men reaching out to me are either asian and 20 years younger than me or they are lumberjacks who are widowers from Europe. Lol- I never saw so many lumberjacks in one place. They all want my phone number after 5 minutes of texting and leave the conversation when i hesitate to give it. Once, i shared s google number and the left the conversation as well.
I connected with a scammer/catfish on CMB last month. Long story short... we had chatted/phone calls for about 3 weeks on CMB app and whatsapp. I was told he is an architect and structural engineer located in London UK with a phone number 44-7405-*******. He ran into some project problems all of a sudden (his project building collapsed in Turkey) and asked $20K to solve his problem. Yes only 20K not $20M (a building collapsed with some injured compensation only $20K?!) His wrote decent english at the beginning but broken english at the end. Well, I know I have talked to some con artists! I blocked him and reported to my local police department and CMB immediately.
TODAY I FOUND THIS PROFILE WITH EXACTLY SAME PICTURES AND DESCRIPTIONS SHOWS UP IN MY "DISCOVER" SECTION AGAIN! WHAT DID CMB HANDLE OUR COMPLAINTS?!
P. S> These pictures in his profile are belong to a well known fashion designer in Taiwan. Exactly same person as Amy C. Reported here on Nov 25,2018.

Alexander Chua on CMB claimed to be a free-lance oil rig engineer who worked on an offshore oil rig. He claimed to be a Singaporean who has worked at Halliburton for 12 years before becoming a free lance engineer. He said he is an single child and his parents are no longer around. He said he has bought an apartment at Artra and he will be returning to Singapore at the end of 2019. Not long after chatting on WhatsApp, he mentioned his machine broke down and require financial help because he couldn't access his bank accounts on the offshore rig. He uses a UK number +*******xxx306.
Just beware of this person on CMB and not fall into his traps.
Update 26-Dec-2019: Even though his profile has been reported on CMB, this person is still active on CMB. So ladies, please watch out and report this person if you ever met him!

Presents as a 38 yo from Sicily and Oslo who lives about ~250 miles from wherever you live. Claims to be born in California but raised in Europe. Claims to have a Masters degree and be a freelance project manager in the field of solar energy. Claims that he has a "tender" (proposal/business requirements) he is working on, that is due very soon and that is why his messages are sporadic. And... he attempts to be very smoothe but his English is broken. I didn't get very far with messaging him because I literally did a google image search to reverse look-up his photos. Be smart out there everyone... scammers are EVERYWHERE and they are worse than catfishing! -
Probably not everyone on CMB is a scammer, but one of the flaws of the app design is that you can only search for people up to 250 miles away from you - so any one scammer can have literally *hundreds* of accounts to search for scam victims.
To me this seems like a really time-consuming scam to perform, because whoever it is... they're definitely working hard to attempt to earn trust, asking lots of interesting questions that a real person might ask in attempt to get to know someone... and then I'm sure the money request will follow soon enough.
It would improve the app design if CMB would open searching to all over the country (to limit the number of scam accounts per region) and also to let chats stay open more than 7 days (to reduce the pressure of exchanging personal information too soon). Two huge flaws in the design will prevent me from using this app again.

I joined this site in hopes of meeting people that like me have no time for the real socializing that it takes to meet someone! I believe in actual communication and will not endure endless texting. First off I am confident that many of their man traps are not even in the United States I won't say how I know but be leery because there are many tell tale signs! Many of the profiles are written in a way that give clues to and only if you pay attention will you quickly discover there is a pattern. Many of these guys will claim to be out of the country for a short while or in another state for few days. If this is true CMB has some of the most traveled members I have ever seen! The other thing is and I really hate today it is the number of biracial pics posted! I know what year it is but just like the traveling thing I find it hard to believe that so many are not only featured that way but pushed that way too! As far as choices? I have to say they have been fun to look at all the pretty pics but really... I think the profiles are fake; and to support my claim a lot of the guys have later showed up as banned for "suspicious" behavior! Yes I have talked to a handful of guys and only one did I find interesting enough to stay in touch with, way too many send their bagels to meet me and don't follow through. I think that is administration's attempts to keep you interested! Yes there are a few American men whose profiles are real but trust me you will go through those quickly and get the fakers! Fortunately I have NEVER paid a dime to these people and from the looks of things I won't in the future!

They will randomly remove your account for no reason. I was using CMB for over a month and randomly had my account removed in the middle of conversations.

Full of trash so does their staff. Instead of resolve issues, they will block you if you are in their way of business. Crime in silence!
Even in social media, they won't reply and block right away!
Tip for consumers:
Stay away!

Out of the four guys that I have connected to on this site, ALL of them are scammers. None of their profiles are real. All they want is to victimize women and get money. Here is what to look out for:
1. All are from foreign countries, went to school in foreign countries and have an accent
2. All have children that they claim they are taking care of by themselves either because they are a widower or came out of a nasty divorce with full custody
3. They claim to fall in love with you very fast
4. They don't have any friends and their family has passed on.
5. They cannot prove that they are real. They do not video chat. When asked to take a selfie with the date on a piece of paper, they cannot do it right away. It takes days for them to photoshop one and then that defeats the purpose.
6. Two of the scammers claimed they worked on an oil rig
7. They never provide contact info
8. They try and get you off the site ASAP to chat in a different forum
Be very aware of this site and men by the name of George Cohen, Vincent Smith, Mike Brown and Carlos Loriloto. They are good at what they do.

I get the sense that this was never a dating site. Every single person that has contacted me on the site and I mean EVERY, has turned out to be a fake profile after online dating 101 investigation and some very short conversation. These red flags are the ones to look out for. Please understand one or two of these could be completely normal, but all the scammers on here use the same BS. You'd think professional scammers would come up with better schtick.
1. in the military
2. Widow
3 raising children on their own
4. Swear they're American, but write in VERY broken English which could not be jsu typos
5. Never just looking to date, meet, get to know someone... always looking for their soulmate.
6. Many times their profile answers do not match what they answer when chatting. I had one "widower" that had a 5 year old daughter and 8 year old son on his profile, but when I asked about his children, his son was 5 and his daughter was 8. He also said he was in Real Estate, but the company listed had absolutely nothing to do with Real Estate
7. They NEVER want to give proof of who they are... another online dating 101 rule. If you push for proof, conversation ends.
There's more, but I have wasted my time enough on this App and these scammers, so I'm deleting. Good luck with that karma scammers, and I wish only the best to all the single men and women actually, honestly seeking a connection.:-)

Ladies beware! Im from NY and matched with a "Keven" from CT who happens to be an engineer. The profile pic is this really sexy, white as can be, buff man He also wrote in his profile he works for "El-Alan". I googled it and its an engineering company in NIGERIA! We did exchange phone numbers and when he texted me he introduced himself as "Kevin" and the way he texted indicated to me that he had an accent. So i called him bc i needed to hear it for myself. We talked for 2 minutes and he ended up having an accent saying he moved from Rome when he was 16. He also stated that he has a contract to work in Nigeria (yeah ok) I asked him if he spoke or understood Italian he said yes but when i busted out my Italian (which he didnt expect) he had no idea the basic simple question i asked in Italian. I knew he was full of it! I told him i wasnt buying his bull$#*! and hung up. Before i blocked him, he changed his employer to "n/a"! Ladies please please watch out. Always google EVERYTHING even phone numbers! Its a scary world out there!

Scammer Haven! Luckily I have tried online dating before and am just an aware type person. But, this still caught me off guard.
Beware of interesting names (Jakob and Liam).
Beware if Grammer is not typical, you may chalk it up to a language thing since they say they are from somewhere else.
Beware, both profiles had photos with another person or an animal.
2 matches, 1 from Italy and 1 from France. Both started msg'ing normal enough. Then within a day they both wanted to jump off to texting. After texting 1 All Day long ~ thinking legit (he sent a couple more pics, etc) he told me he had an accent and asked if that was a problem ~ I said no. Later that evening he wanted to call. This was no Italian accent. Luckily our call was disconnected while my mind was still in shock. Gave me a minute to know something wasn't right!
I immediately reported and cancelled my account! But yeah ~ the other guy still has my #, he didn't start texting yet ~ and this guy has my # and whatever other info he scammed off me ALLLL DAY. Ugh!

So it looks like this guy is still at it, ladies! Pretty much the same story -- 35, born in Cali, grew up in Sicily and the UK (apparently he thinks Dublin is part of the UK... but I digress), moved from NYC to Oklahoma City (which is way outside my 250 mile radius, btw), has to immediately go to Turkey for a business trip for several weeks. He seems wayyy too good to be true right off the bat... and he is! There are lots of little red flags -- the overly poetic language, the frequent grammar mistakes, the immense amount of cheese (for real, who says 'I can't wait to clasp you in my warm embrace' EWWWW and 'tell me you'll never leave' when I don't know anything about him), the unwarranted barechested shots (oh and he'll send you pics of himself at work, as a child, and with animals now too), answering every 12 hours and at very odd times like clockwork, and him thinking that the Republic of Ireland is part of the United Kingdom -- but I thought, hey, maybe he's a unicorn in spite of these pretty blatant flags! Oops! I should've known better ;) He will definitely ask you for money in the form of an iTunes gift card. My reaction was, 'Whaaaaaaaa can you POSSIBLY use that for? You can just top up online if you really need to download a movie'. Obviously, it's a scam and was concrete enough to solidify his true persona for me. I looked up his pics and nothing came up but I am glad I found this forum. This guy is just so, so sad. So please, ladies, trust your gut and report and block. I know there are great guys out there but anyone who makes you wonder if he's for real is 100% not. Be safe!

PASSPORT COPY IS NEEDED
On the second day when I installed the app, the app suddenly unable to log in and the app emailed to me stating that they are checking potential spams and it was a random that I was selected.
Ok… So, they asked me to email a pic to them holding up 3 fingers, which was fine and I did so. Then later, the app required me to send them my phone no. (I was thinking, that was ok too). Then, the next day, another email from the app asked me to provide a copy of government issued passport for ID proof, then I am scared. I am wondering by what means can the app ensure my personal information can be protected? And every time when the app emails to me, an additional information is required, so when will there be an end?
I indeed have joined a 3-month subscription plan already, and I guess if I asked for a refund ( in case that may happen though I doubt), additional personal data will be required. Thus, to allow myself to have a peaceful mind, it is ok to just leave the amount which was spent and quit the C&B app. I have never thought that there can be such a bad experience in using dating app. Indeed there are tons of friendly and welcoming apps around.

Good looking pix says he's from Manhattan a geoscientist for BP and graduated w masters from harvard multiple pic of himself and then a single pic of his son only. Will tell u his sob story to lure vulnerable women but I wasn't stupid. He said his wife died 2 yrs ago then he got involved w a woman from Washington who he went to visit her on surprise and found her in bed w another man then he said he cried and came back to NJ. Read reviews about this app and the scammers. There are multiple scammers named Gary. So beware. This Gary also claimed to be from PR but born in the states ( red flag if ur from Harvard u know PR is part of US). His mom is from Egypt and he came to the US when he was 20yo. He couldn't answer my ques regarding to send me a recent pic of himself and his son, when he attended Harvard and what degree, what other schools he attended, couldn't come up w a copy of drivers license before we met, also he said he lives in NJ. Why don't these sites scan these ppl for scammers. I feel bad for someone who could be taken by these scammers stories. Please be careful out there. We didn't get that far in our conversation thank god to reviews I looked up like this one.

Have not had any luck on this app. Unfortunately I was scammed by this very good looking man Avery Fredrick, who claims to be a plastic surgeon. Comes off as shy initially. Immediately he wanted to chat on Whatsapp because he claimed he was working in Yemen helping poor medical structures in crisis. Unfortunately I ended buying him a steam card for $100 dollars so he can use it to video chat with me. He stated he couldn't video chat through whatsapp because of the firewalls and security. So he asked me to download "hangouts" where we attempted to facetime. When I saw him it looked like a pre-recorded video. We never got to videochat. He is very charming and poetic. The last red flag was when he asked me to send money through the red cross to the less privileged children from Yemen. He immediately fell in love with me and wanted to marry me. I spoke with him for about 6 weeks. He would avoid a lot of questions I would ask him. He claims to be an orphan and grew up in Delano California. He also states he has 5 year old daughter named Connie. His phone number is a VOIP number *******544. I hope no one else gets scammed by this idiot!
Tip for consumers:
This site disappointed me. I never received a response about this person I reported.
