Arrived at location after driving 409 miles with reservations for two rooms. Property called to ask what time I was arriving because the front door will be closed at 10pm. 1st red flag. We arrived at 9:30 pm (2nd red flag- burnt out letters on building) and was given the keys and we left to get food. (3rd red flag - No cars in lot). We came back to enter through the back emergency doors as instructed by clerk. Once to our rooms we were met with hazardous conditions in both rooms (baseboards hanging off wall, not cleaned at all, second room a leaking roof with mold). We went back to the desk to request a refund. We were told that the owner would be in to cover the next shift and we could talk to him. The gentlemen that relieved the clerk who I assumed was the owner was very condescending and stated I would have to take it up with the manager in the AM. He also said that there was no cancellation. I tried calling the reservation hotline with no answer. I then asked if he had another room that was remodeled or up to standards to rent. We went to the next set of rooms. We were all uncomfortable 100% to even consider staying in a place unsafe. To make a long story short we couldn't sleep and found out that my brother and his girlfriend slept in the vehicle because they found stained sheets folded made up bed with hair between the sheets. That morning we checked out and I asked for a refund and was denied. Throughout that day I received phone calls from the hotel asking if I was still at the hotel. I stated I checked out and wanted a refund in which I was denied again. I received a few more calls from the owner insulting my intelligence even asking me if I understood english. I also had one associate claiming to be a manager named Mike Patel insult me. At this point I would like this to be documented on Comfort Suites website and refunded my money. I have been a loyal member for over 8 years and this is by far my worst experience.
