This site has allowed a deranged lunatic to post false things about me and my family for years. $30,000 is what we were quoted to have the lies removed. Anyone can post any lie they want with no proof. Its nothing but an extortion scam.
They dont even validate, not even phone numbers. People post stupid bogus complaints, most of them are competietors.

Imagine a person is creating a fake id, on 1 hand he says item not received as transaction failed, same person with same alias after few days posts POOR QUALITY!

This site scams complainers and the reviewed sites to try and shake down money in order to respond to users. Site jabber is a much better review consumer advocate site.
ComplaintsBoard.com was not created to help consumers or voice legitimate complaints/claims. It was created to make money by allowing totally unsubstantiated and mostly libelous posts and then trying to get the subjects of those posts to pay for "reputation repair" by guaranteeing removal through multiple other web sites which are directly affiliated with ComplaintsBoard.com. It's basically online extortion. DO NOT PAY THESE CRIMINALS ANYTHING. It's what is fueling them to keep going. Because they are based in Latvia they are not subject to any U.S. laws. They allow anyone using the system to "hide" behind multiple accounts too to make it look like several people are responding. There are no verifications for accounts and factual checks. They could care less whose posting or what they post as long as it generates revenue for them. IT'S A TOTAL SCAM.
The one thing they are good at is getting their trash listed high on Google searches. They accomplish this with good SEO management and by using Google's AdWords to gain an advantage. If you do the same search on Bing you will see a much more realistic ranking. It all boils down to pure greed.
Google should be ashamed of themselves for allowing their network to be used by these criminals to destroy good reputations.
Just by letting any tom, $#*! and harry post comments about a company or a product without listening the other side, is a very nasty and vague way to malign companies and products. Complaints Board is in no way has any license or empowered to act as a judge to pass judgement on one sided comments by allowing such posts to be displayed without knowing about the issues and without hearing both the parties.
People have a habit of posting negative reviews more than positive reviews. ComplaintsBoard acts as a fuel to project the negative reviews posted by planted and fake people to purposely malign the good companies.
This system is itself defective causing more harm that being useful. Such companies should be banned as they do not serve any useful purpose.
Stay clear of www.complaintsboard.com not only most of their reviews are fake but they will spam you.

I am here to tell you one story how complaintsboard.com has helped me with my trouble. Usually I leave reviews everywhere I can, especially if I am angry and want to get some justice. The only thing I want as a customer is to make a company notice my complaint and it works, by the way. Moreover, I use this compny's internal messaging system, online forms, emails and phone numbers. You know what? It doesn't help at all. Only a negative review can make them do something. Ok, since this review is about complaints board, I won't tell you what company it was. Ok, I will give you a hint. It's a big travel agency (starts with "T"). The problem was that I cancelled my flight and wanted to get a 100% refund (according to terms & conditions I had a right to ask for refund), but no one cared. How many days do you think I tried to start a conversation with their representatives? Ten! They were pretending my problem didn't exist. I completely understand they have other customers as well, but why did I have to wait for so long? Ok, let's get to the point. I was sick and tired of this situation and left reviews on 3 different websites including Complaints board. And then the miracle has happened! I received an official reply from this company as they have a business account on complaints board. They asked for details and I received a refund within 24 hours. Isn't that fantastic? I will surely leave a negative review about this company for treating their customers this way, but I have no doubt that complaints board deserved these 5 stars from me for doing everything to provide this fast service and to get through companies. I marked my complaint as resolved and it probably made this company's rating better. Oh well. The problem was resolved anyway.

Complaintsboard is one of the best review websites. They are really good at what they are doing and they also keep on monitoring all the complaints.
They seem to allow of a lot of obvious fake reviews/complaints about people and companies. This does not seem to be a reputable site.
Our website is listed on Complaintsboad.com with fake reviews. Some arepulled from this bugus site and some are completely fake or unverfied.
