I simply posted a problem with my phone then replied to my post asking where the F is the edit button? Then replied again say where is the delete button? So I can remove my response to first post. Absolute B.S.
I've been a member of the support forum on computerhope.com for a long time and the forum can be quite helpful if you are patient and keep in mind you cannot usually expect a quick response to a request for help from an online forum where other members who offer help are all volunteers; none of them get paid for providing help in the forum. Regarding another review here with a comment about encountering an attitude on computerhope.com's forum, I will agree that has been a sporadic problem on the site. Currently, the moderators seem to be doing a fairly good job of keeping attitudes in check. The site is also a substantial repository of information about computers and computing.
It seems like theyer only here to insult people and pretend to know what they are doing. All the advice they give is wrong, they tell you to download this or download this, stuff you dont need. After insulting you they kick you out.
ASK A PROFESSIONAL! You will just wait your time downloading their spyware programs
I'm sorry you had this experience; it's more than likely you dealt with someone in chat or on the forums. These volunteers offer their support and time for free and are not employees of Computer Hope. If you were to e-mail us directly with your problem, you'd never experience this situation.
This website pops up as one of the first on the list when looking for computer help or free computer help.
I got on the site, with what I thought was a simple enough problem, and all I got was attitude.
If you need help, REAL help, go someplace ELSE.
This site is NO help, but does have plenty of ATTITUDE.
I'm sorry you had this experience with someone giving you an attitude. If this happened, it would of been on chat or the forums. Everyone on these platforms are volunteers and not Computer Hope employees. You'll never get an attitude when sending us an e-mail.
QUANTOS a mexican that is rude he think he know it all and he dont when the rules say anyone can help in the room he would not let me help this guy who had a question about can i turn my computer in to windows 7 when this guy computer was made for windows 8 and i knew the answer and when i was answering QUANTOS said it could not be done dose not listen to a word i said he said that i was being rude snd called me a $#*!ing $#*! and said i was $#*!ing stupid and it cant be done is the reason why QUANTOS boots me out of the room
I'm sorry you had this experience with Quantos, he is a volunteer in the Computer Hope chat and not an employee. While I'd love to have an entire paid staff of people offering support for free in chat and on the forums, it's just not possible (the site is FREE). So, I have to rely on volunteers who offer their help for free. If you want to work directly with Computer Hope, send us an e-mail or visit any of the thousands of pages we offer on the site.
Free computer help and support. Answering all your computer related questions with complete information on all hardware and software.
Thanks David for the positive comments and remarks about the negative reviews being about some of our volunteers in our chat and on our forums and not about the actual Computer Hope website.
