This company fitted new central heating for my brother in Bedford in December 2011.

Initially they contacted him by phone, apparantly after he took part in an energy survey.

The instasller was a Gas Safe engineer from Lancashire, when checked out on the GasSafe website he was shown to have 18 years experience.

Equipment used was top of the range, including a 10 year warranty on rads and a boiler with a 5 year warranty. I saw the system being fitted, it took 2 days for an 8 rad system, including new pipework.

My brother got a quote for £4,600 from a local fitter for a standard system, Condenseheat charged £5,200 and refused to accept payment until the work was completed.

Only negative point was the engineer drank too much tea.

Had condenseheat fit my system 3 years ago, more expensive than most but the quality workmanship made up for that, boiler serviced for 3 years under guarantee but left with no boiler function after engineer turned gas off to boiler then left. I was waiting for the letter to say boiler needed servicing this year but none came so I rang only to be told it is out of warranty but should have had a letter to explain, I was told I would get a call to arrange the service but none came, tried the website but it is not working so not sure if firm still trading. The only diconcerting thing about the firm was the salesmans pushing the finance even when I offered to pay cash.
