I had not taken a test like this previously so I was very unprepared for what to expect. I was very glad to find this site and have many examples to help me understand what to expect. I contacted them about a couple answers that I thought were incorrect on the key and they were responsive to my inquiry.
Thats right this site is worthless. It's just a bunch of questions with answers that are not always correct. The references to IBC sections are mostly incorrect. Find help elsewhere. Don't waste your money.

I purchased this material for quite a bit of money for both the Business and Law exam and a specialty contractors exam. I spent over $900 only to find out that the answer key to the practice tests were very inaccurate. When I inquired about the mistakes on their website they said "it's easy to get the answer keys mixed up" and they provided no correct information. Even after several emails, no response with correct information.
For the price you would certainly expect to receive accurate information.
On their site the go on to indicate that people have failed the test when just memorizing the multiple choice and true false questions on their tutorials. Well yea, when the answers are wrong and you memorize them you're going to fail!
There are other sites that sell this same type of material. I wish I would have read more reviews a little closer!
For the first questions you have nice and understandable reference information, later on it is a guess, there is no reference, there is no study material, when asked questions (by email only) they say you were supposed to read the website, still after many emails back and forth there is no answer.
This was expensive and useless, they haven o phone number, you have to send an email and wait for a response, the person replying don't even sign with his last name. Just tiring out with same script emails.
If known better, I would have gone to the other sites a lot earlier, this was a waste of time, money, and patience.
Some customers just don't want to take the time to read the product descriptions on our site. References are listed in EXAM BULLETINS and the person taking the exam is responsible for purchasing each and every recommended book or state statute. This is clearly stated on our web site. The is no mention of us providing any reference books. We do mention that we provide links to free and used copies of reference books. This customer was just confused and refused to read the information on the site.
I purchased study material on 04/13/2020 but haven't received any respond email from this company. I tried to submit Customer Service Request form but it keeps giving me a message "There was a problem with your submission. Errors have been highlighted below" but there is no highlighted section. Please respond me back as soon as possible. My email address is *******@gmail.com
Without an order number, name, full email address or what this customer ordered, it would be impossible to contact this person. We do not show ANY orders on that date which leads us to believe that they ordered from a different web site with a similar name. We received no service requests from a gmail account on this date.

I am a Professional Engineer and a licensed contractor in two other states. I thought I was ordering a state specific training and review test. This is not the case. The answers are often incorrect and the questions were not even part of the approved reference materials. I wished I would have checked the reviews before placing the order.
This comment is not a legitimate complaint. If it were, the customer would respond to our email so we could resolve his issues. We have tried on multiple occasions reach him. This is another case of a customer having a bad day and we were the easiest target at the time. Also, the owner of SiteJabber refuses to remove these comments even if the customer satisfied with the service they received after they wrote their comment. I'm some cases, they were fully refunded. SiteJabber leaves these comments FOREVER until you pay to have them removed. Shame on you SiteJabber!
The study materials they are selling are a joke! This site is nothing short of a con. The "tutorial" was nothing more than a series of multiple choice questions and answers and were littered with irrelevant materials, typographical errors, and sited references that were of no use to the exam at hand. I spent almost $450 and recieved almost NOTHING of value. Avoid this site and find somewhere else to procure study material, these people are thieves.
This comment is ten years old. With no order info like what he ordered, there is no way to contact the person who posted this and find out what went wrong. This another example of SiteJabber leaving useless (old) comments because they think they are going to make money from the site owner paying them to remove. When you see comments about us where the person who posted says they found errors, I can assure you that they were asked to provide detailed info about the problem and refused to provide what we asked of them. The users comments may have been correct about the previous owner's policies and content creators that were careless. Since that time we have completely removed all files we sold and wrote new ones. We also changed the format of the questions to follow the process of finding the answers in a code book which is the key to passing an exam... not trying to memorizing questions and answers. You see, we are prohibited by copyright laws from publishing exact questions and answers that would appear on an exam.
So I purchased the exam prep package for the residential wiremans course and ran into some issues on my end with the application of the information I received.
Due to these issues the package was no longer warranted and upon my request a representative from ContractorExam.com issued me a full refund for the products/services received. At no point in time were they legally obligated to fulfill my request. They did so based on moral values and good business practices.
In my opinion that says alot about the company and the products they offer, especially in this day and age.
Thanks again for everything,
Tom

I just paid $400 dollars for a business law study guide. The whole thing is filled with errors and I cannot get a hold of anyone on phone or email to voice my frustrations. These people are thieves
We have a form on our web site specifically for reporting errors in study questions located on our contact page. This customer did not bother to fill out the form. I just checked the incoming requests (1130 hrs MDT)... nothing from a Joe S. If you spend the time to READ the web site and follow our instructions, you will receive a prompt reply. Making all kinds of unsubstantiated accusations will not help your situation. If there is "no customer service", why am I taking the time to respond?
Information is incorrect although it is supposed to be a study guide and the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard is that we the consumer who is purchasing a product to teach us are the ones who get blamed for the inaccuracies. "WE" are supposed to notify them when they are wrong-lol what is the purpose of purchasing study guide. I wish the ICC would put this site on a Fraud Watch to protect consumers. SAVE YOUR MONEY TOTAL SCAM
Look at the date of this post. It's so old that it isn't even useful and the customer is probably long gone. This site refuses to remove unverified posts unless you pay them. Is that ethical? Absolutely not! These are the kind of posts where people are just having a bad day and choose to write angry comments to attack. There is no order information here like a date, order number or exactly what they ordered to trace it back to it's origin. Sometimes when customers like this contact us, they are angry, abusive and are having mental health issues. This is why whomever was dealing with the customer service emails at the time (not me) may have chose not to respond. I do remember seeing the emails that came in from this customer and he kept insisting on a full refund while REFUSING to provide us with a detailed accounting of the exact question(s) that were in error. Some people act like this because they are attempting to get free study materials. You see, electronic files can not be returned and the FTC rules state that no business is expected to provide any refund what-so-ever.

This customer's issue was resolved and he agreed to modify his comments. He was issued a full refund. We are waiting for him to follow through with his commitment.
We offer construction licensing practice exams that are instantly downloadable after payment. We generally specialize in electrical exams. Our secondary specialty is to research all exam requirements including: licensing agency contact info and link to their license application site, exam administrator contact info and link to exam bulletins, a list of required books for individual exams by state and trade name, tested links to site where books can be purchased, links to required statutes for preparation and links to free books. Much of the information we publish has been corrected and verified. Often times book sources contained in exams bulletins is incorrect or titles are out-of-print. Currently, we maintain around 1,140 web pages with exam details and links to book sources we have verified. We monitor 41 states that have exams done by the state licensing agency or 3rd party vendors like PSI, ICC, ProV and Prometric. Most other states use a national standard exam done by ICC.
Our site has been on the net since 1998 when we primarily offered seminars in the states of LA, TX, NM, UT, & AZ. Since then, we have had many attackers (like this web site). The negative comments here go back several years... even before the ownership changed in 2016. Most of the people here who complained did not follow the stated policy at the time to receive a partial or full refund. They were just having a bad day and decided to dump their anger on us. Since the comments are so old, the customers are long gone, but the owners of this site keep the bad comments here because they run a "pay to play" scheme. You can't have any of the comments removed unless you pay. So, from our perspective, the owners have disingenuous intentions and operate a fraudulent service. In other words, the comments you see are not a true representation of customer feedback. We do not have a rating service for our current customers because they are usually not repeat buyers. They purchase their sample exams, pay and usually don't contact us again unless there is a problem. The only problems we've seen in the last three years is people loosing their files on phones because the location where the download happens is unpredictable. We go to extreme measures to make sure the customer gets what they want. We've also refunded customers that explained their situation where they ordered by mistake. Before the customer buys a practice exam, they can view a sample of exactly what the questions will look like and the format.
