I like cougarlife but I do get approached by non cougars and find them in my search results as well. Its not like JustCougars.com where you only have MILFs or cougars to choose from. Still worth a shot but like all these sites it depends on how many women are in your local area - that's the key.
I am communicating with the support at Cougarlife who is not allowing me access to my member account the site allows me to put in my user and password but my account is a blank page... the website is not even showing in my Google Chrome browse reven when i search on Google and i see the site link... but when i click the site it does not show up even from Google search it a blank page. All cookies are cleared for my Google Chrom browser. This is the only site that is not allowing me to excess my account. Im very suspicious of this site. So i communicated this with the Cougarlife support and they are not helping me with this..
Well, i started with a free account, but then kept getting some messages from hot cougars, and couldnt read it since i wasnt subscribed. They even use some ugly ones so that you think its might be true, a real catch. Then i signed up, pay for the monthly one. To my suprise all those messages were nothing but people who then invite you to watch their web cam bll$#*!. Im even sure its not those people on the picture, but some dudes with no life hiding nehing computers and using people/s pictures to get you to sign up. Dont waste your money. PLUS FOR EACH MESSAGE, YOU LOOSE CREDIT, THE MONTHLY THING IS BLL$#*! AS WELL. You better off watching porn.
It's a scam fake emails fake people only thing real is the troll web cam chicks that never stop spamming u save ur money and buy a couple porno movies ull get more action outta that to be honest
I am not saying its 100% bull$#*! cuz I still got 3 months to go but its def 90% bull$#*!. I sign up for 3 month membership recently and as soon as im in I get a lot of girls flirting and contacting me so im like nice, prob because this is my first time signing up for a online dating site ever, just looking for something a lil dif, a lil kinky. They message you via email and trust me its a scam. Its not even random im on my 13th girl chat in a row and they all eventually follow the same pattern of wanting your credit card info for cam sites or this Id Verification bull$#*!, which from what I gather is just making you sign up for a whole different dating site. I mean there not even clever with it, im contacting young, older, different ethnicity and they all say the same things, I mean down to the letter like there is this one lady writing everyone and she ran out of diversity so she recycles the same lines, its kinda funny and sad when I think about the money part. I mean there was a commercial on tv, so doesn't that mean that there was approval or testing of some sort to see if it is legit and works before airing it out, thats what my dumb $#*! thought and so far not good. Im playing with these chick on the emails calling them out, sense of humor goes out the window and they start sounding like robots. Gonna call to complain tomorrow but Im pretty sure I will just be talking to another robot. But again thats so far, although I do not have high hopes of improvement I will be writing an update review if things kinda change
First of all, let me just say that I have no problem meeting women either online or in person. I have been on Match.com and met a ton of people and never had a complaint about it. I rarely complain about stuff, but I really felt like I have to make sure no one gets scammed if he or she is trying to make up his/her mind. This site a COMPLETE RIP OFF. So I created a profile and I started getting a lot of messages. After about 10 of them of so, I decided to purchased a membership for $40 (which by the way is more expensive than 90% of the websites out there). After opening up the messages, ALL the people who sent me messages had no narratives on their profiles. So obviously, they are not real folks. They might have real cougars on there, but I just did not encounter any.
I called customer service and this is where it gets better: they have a no refund policy and they even tell you that "It takes 2-3 months before you even meet one person." Now to me that sounds like you can HOPE to meet someone $120 later after investing 3 months of e-mailing fictitious ladies. The worst is customer service is so poor; you litteraly have to wait one hour before you can talk to someone. They told me to be patient as they were having difficulties with scammers on the site and the issue would be resolved soon. Well after minimal research, it turns out that today is 8/13/10 and they've been saying the same thing to other customers since last year. Those are facts, not opinions.
Do yourself a great favor, NEVER EVER sign up on this website. I would recommend it under no circumstances.
Plenty of interest in your profile when your a free member but cant message back. The minute u pay your subscription fee... not a single look in Dont bother getting mugged of
Wonder why there are many user profiles with the exact same pictures? It seems like many profiles have been created just to make you believe there are many women on cougarlife.
Once you join will get messages and flirts and stuff like that if you are not a paying member... that all stops once you pay. Did not find any women through this site
Auto-renewal is a joke. And your ability to cancel is almost non existent. Their site is also full of trolls and scams ready to take your money for a "private" cam session.
CougarLife is has by FAR more members than ANY other cougar dating site. They are a creative company and basically "invented" cougar dating. I see no reason why all those people are complaining about it?! I agree, it may be more expensive than other cougar dating sites like Cougars69, but you will find MANY cougars from all over the world.
Once you browse the internet and try to find a way to meet older women you stumble upon many so called "MILF and Cougar Dating Sites" but most of them are not worth your time. I am glad you can still find reliable cougar sites like Cougars69 and CL to get in touch with mature women. As I have seen on many independent dating review sites those two sites are 100% legit and trustworthy.
I have used CL in the past and I did not regret it at all. Yes, once you need to save some bucks you may want to join other sites but do not fall for any fake websites which are only populated with fake profiles.
I am not saying that you won't find any fake profiles on CL, or even on Cougars69. Yes, I am very sure that you will. But on the other hand you sure will find plenty of real profiles as well and, with a little time and patience, you will go on dates with real cougars.
I tried it and what I found were fake profiles and pictures of porn stars. I even found a profile with a Victoria's Secret model. I don't recommend it.
This is a scam! Do not fall for it... they trick you into subscribing and they charge you for $#*! you don't want and the name cougar life comes up on your bank statement
THE ONLY OTHER SITE IVE USED FOR COUGARS IS JUSTCOUGARS.COM AND THATS JUST A BETTER SITE IN COMPARISON. IVE SEEN A FEW OTHER PEOPLE MENTION IT AND IM NOT SURPRISED. BUT SUPPOSE IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHERE UR LOCATED, MAYEB THIS WILL WORK BETTER FOR OTHERS BUT NOT FOR ME.
All these reviews are correct - this site is a total bull**** waste of time and money. Somebody needs to report it ASAP. Most I'll spent $45 bucks ever!
I'm paying to be flirted with by spam and 99% of the women on this sight are not even real the app dosnt work and even the site. I'm not being salty I'm a good looking guy but this is cray never NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES JOIN THIS SITE
Waste of time and money! Fake profiles and when you finally get to talk to someone, they're trying to con you out of your credit card #s.
Hope they all rot in helll
I'd give this sorry piece of sh*t site -100 stars if I could. They took my $40 dollars, thats right, FORTY MA-$#*!IN DOLLARS and the only action I got was them putting it UP MY $#*!. Nothing but bots and fake profiles. There are a $#*! ton of profiles of girls 18-30 that are hot as $#*! and all they want you to do is go to there web-show. If I wanted to do that I would go to a porn sight, jesus christ I am so livid right now. I want my $#*!ing money back. The BEST thing (and I say that extremely sarcastically) is that they give you 100 credits, it cost 10 to send a message and 40 to send it high priority. When you run out, you guessed it, you gotta buy more, as if $40 a month isn't enough to let you message endlessly. What a FUKKING SHAM... goddamn it I don't know if I mad about the loss of $40 or the fact I was stupid enough to sign the fukk up. Don't bother and heed this warning.
They will rip you off from start to finish. The only responses will be from creeps pretending to be hotties but are just pimps for brothels and porn scams
Lots of messages till you pay to upgrade and then you can't get any messages onless you pay pay pay stay away if you want sex go get a hooker be cheaper
I love how easy it is to arrange a date and meet real cougars who you wouldn't have a chance to meet otherwise. Gotta love sites like cougar life and cougars69 :)
Nothin but artificial flakes that never wanna meet just want u to keep buyin tokens to text but they never meet u talk bout accuslly "meetin". Scam scam scam
I was trying this site, for free users is VERY RESTRICTED... which sounds like a scam.
I got two messages, I am a software engineer and I did an easy HTML testing:
The "blurry" messages are a lie... those "blurry messages" are already uploaded in their servers (e.g. https://asset3-cdn.cougarlife.com/images/blur_msg_6.png). In conclusion:
1. They don't bother to really blurry the messages, which sounds like a scam
2. They just have a couple of attractive profiles to hook you and auto reply
Besides their platform is too slow to handle concurrent users, which makes me think:
1. For a 26$ per month for EACH user IT IS IMPOSIBLE TO HAVE A SERVER SO BAD, it seems to be too slow for any HTML GET/POST that I made,
Conclusion: is not a real site, just a phishing website, they don't care about the user experience
I agree with some guys: CougarLife.com (and Cougars69.com) are the two only sites which work! Use one or both of em and you will be fine!
The only women who messaged me back were looking for me to register on some scam sites. What a waste of time.
Not many cougars in my area. Have been using thos site for almost one year without any results. I admit I did not use it on a regular basis though
The site charges the same price as premier dating site like Match.com and Jdate, but the quality is crap, and here's why:
1) Spam: There are probably more profiles that are porn spam than real people. There is a report button, and customer service told me they are actively monitoring, however, people I've reported over a week ago are still on.
2) Selection: There isn't a large selection to choose from. Most of the profiles of the women have only a picture and not a single sentence written by them. I suspect they are spam, but who knows.
3) No chat: Websites that charge $40/month have chat. This website does not. Chat worked well from me on other dating websites - In fact it works better than sending inbox messages.
4) False "Online" indicator: Every profile says the member is online. How can ALL members all be online ALL the time? This is probably done to give users the illusion that other users are active when in fact the website is doing very poorly. Customer service told me it's a glitch that they're trying to fix, but how long does it take to fix a small problem?
Many small business starting out on the web use fake profiles to get the website going. When I first joined I got a few messages from other "users" who were saying hello and asking me to tell them about myself saying if they like it they will respond. In other words, don't expect a response. It had all the markings of such in-house created profiles "welcoming" me to the site...
And now to the most outrageous one.
5) While on the phone with customer service discussing all the above, the rep said, "I'm looking through your inbox and it seems like you've been getting messages from real members". I was not asked for my permission to go through my e-mails. Clearly they don't respect their users' privacy.
Bottom line: Not worth the money. Not worth the time.
