“Love these "Old West" Boots”

Ordered my first pair of boots from here last week and they arrived today! Must say I was a little more than anxious to get them because of some of the comments and my history with online ordering... All my worry was for nothing... these boots are so beautiful and fit just as I had hoped. There is quality in the workmanship and the price was good as well! I will definitely be ordering more pairs in the future. Thank you, Barbara Martin

Sent me a pair of boots with security tag, won't give me a refund, instead sent me ANOTHER PAIR WITH A SECURITY TAG ON THEM, sent them back, then get harassed asking me if I don't send them back I'm getting charged AGAIN for the second pair. When they were delivered that morning from the tracking THEY provided. Unbelievable.

I placed an order with these jokers, need to return one item. Have been trying for weeks. Customer service? What customer service? It does not exist with these people. I am beyond disgusted.

I ordered the boots late Monday, I paid the extra $10 for the UPS2DAY, and I got them Thursday morning! It was so simple and easy! And I LOVE MY BOOTS!
I will most definitely order from this company again!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! 1-If you are ordering a new item they will pick up in 3 rings. To check on your orders, be prepared to wait up to 40 min for help before their system cuts you off!
2- Got an email saying my card was declined after I ordered a pair of boots so I ordered a second pair using the same card. They charged me for the second pair and then 3 days later charged me again for the original pair. The SECOND pair has been delivered, the first pair is apparently lost somewhere and I have to wait for my $219.99 until THEY TRACK THE PACKAGE THEY LOST!
3- I called on a Monday about the original pair and was told BY A SUPERVISOR that I would be getting a full refund in a day or two, 4 days later no refund. I called back only to be told I'd have to wait till the package was tracked on their end. Lies, LIES, LIES, LIES,,,,
BAAAAAD BUSINESS! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Ordered two Pair of jeans. Received the box about a week later. Opened the box and there was only one pair of jeans and the other pair was missing. The pair of jeans in the box appeared to have been cut with a knife. I then boxed the only pair I received and shipped back using their label. It took two weeks for them to get the return and then I was told (chat room, You cannot call these people) that I was going to be issued store credit for one pair. I cut and pasted their policy to the chat room that states I have the option of a full refund OR credit and I prefer the the full refund. But I expected a return for the missing pair as well.
Today is Oct. 27th and I have not seen anything. It was though, during the chat room correspondence, I was responsible for the missing pair and the damaged one. I grew tired of conversing through the chat room and waiting (ordered on 10/02) and had American Express take up the transaction which they promptly returned my money (love AE for their service). There was no apology from Country Outfitters, only delays and no action. I have been buying 80% of my clothes online for 10 years and have not ever had a bad experience like this. They have a lot of top brand products but I recommend you look elsewhere. EBAY and Amazon or 100 time their size and have the best customer service on the planet.

I ordered a pair of boots and was charged immediately for them. The next day I was charged again. I called and was informed that the first charge was a hold and should be refunded within 24 hours. It had been nearly a week and I still did not receive a refund. It's ridiculous that this is how they charge people. They shouldn't have to take the money out of my account twice. I've never experienced this ordering from any other website. I called them again after 6 days and they said the charge would be refunded by the end of the day. It never was. I called again the next day after speaking with my bank. I told them what my bank told me which was that if they didn't refund it to request documents to send to my bank. It was only after I told them this that they finally authorized the refund. Also, when my order arrived the boots weren't even in a box from the brand I ordered. They arrived in a Boot Barn box with no paper or stuffing inside of them to keep their shape. The right boot looked like it was worn or defective. The stitching on the toe area was not centered and the bottom of the boot was scratched. I'm never ordering from them again.

(Long story short, took over 2 flippin weeks to ship my ITEM!, about 3 weks to receive with shipping)

What a terrible company! After I purchased my item, I was given a prompt that said my item would ship in 5-8 business days. It's a little unusual that it would take much time just to ship it. But ok, I went with it.

2 weeks pass and I look my item and it still has not shipped. What the heck? So I try to contact them through email asking whats going on and if they had a number I could call to sort things out. 2 days later, I get a response and they said, " it's about to ship " and "we don't have a number we can give you."

At this point I was pretty agitated, so I just wanted to cancel my order since it hadn't even shipped yet. I clicked cancel. And apparently they have to "approve" your cancel. WHAT?! So 2 days later my item was finalllyyyy shipped. It took over 2 weeks for my items to even ship.

This is such a worthless company. Go through Amazon, because all their items are on there and they usually offer free shipping. Since these fat slobs are too lazy to get up from their computer to go to their warehouse and pick up your stuff and ship it. You'll be waiting probably close to 3 weeks to get your item like I did.

If you havent tried on in a store and might have to return?... Do not order from this company... Period... You are asking for trouble

They printed the return label and mailed it to me. All you needed to do was ask. I'm having problems with back orders also though

Almost everything you see on this site you can order from boot barn and is way more reliable
Definitely would go there instead

I returned some boots and have had to keep on them for a return. Now, they say for the 3rd time, they will refund me, going on 3 months now. DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY!

Place order on in stock item then nothing. Not shipped no answer to emails no answer phone stay away from these crooks

I ordered a pair of boots that were $348.00. When I got them they were damaged so I packed them back in the box... I didn't even walk around in them due to the visible damage (a chip on the front right toe by the stitching). I contacted Country Outfitters (CO) and told them the problem and asked how I return the boots. CO said that they would send me a return label by e-mail within 24 hours. CO charges each customer a $5.00 return label charge which the representative did not tell me during my initial call and I never saw mention of this fee when I ordered the boots. Well, I got an e-mail from Acumen Brands with an authorization number and an itemization charging me the return label fee of $5.00, to my dismay, as well as a shocking restocking fee of $52.20, I called CO and discussed this with Allison, a representative, I must say was very courteous and helpful. After checking, Allison said they would credit me with the restocking fee, but would not credit the $5.00 shipping label fee. Joyce, the inspector who checked the damaged boots before sending them out, told Allison and her supervisor that there were scratches on the bottom of the boots and that is why they would not credit me the $5.00 shipping label fee. Again, I never wore the boots except to try them on and I never walked in them. Beware if after reading this review that you order anything from this company! These hidden costs for return are outrageous and CO's policies are fraudulent! Word to the wise... find boots from a reputable company that will not charge you outrageous fees if you need to return them or any product, for whatever reason... mine just happened to be damaged boots sent from the get go!

I have overall had a terrible experience with Country outfitters. I am shopping from Australia, looking for western boots. I place an order on an item that is specifically advertised as available and ships "next business day", it wasn't until a week later I realised I hadn't had any confirmation email and noted my PayPal account stated "pending authorisation", upon reaching out they said there was a delay in the shipping, I waited and waited, no updates, so I reached out again, this is when they cancelled my order saying the boots were actually not in stock. Yet they are still being advertised on their website as available to ship next day in my size - go figure. Then I found another pair as they suggested and placed a second order, only to once again be waiting for some information/update on the shipping this time. They offered a 15% discount, but would NOT give me a discount code to put in at the checkout, they said I had to phone for the code (I cannot call internationally), so the only option was that they would apply the discount when the item is shipped. Once again I had to email after 5 days of hearing nothing to get an update, and to ensure they apply the discount code as promised. To which they did, but only "conveniently" when the item had been shipped which just so happened to be the day they replied to my email. Appalling customer service. They need to pick up their game with informing customers of the status of the order, it should not be something that constantly requires chasing up. All in all I placed the initial order on 31st July, and I am not expecting to receive my boots until 6th September. I will not be shopping with this website again and I will not recommend them to anyone.

I ordered 2 hats in early June. The first arrived in rather bad shape but a death in the family caused me to forget about it. By July 6th, I realized my Stetson had not arrived. After some checking I realized County Outfitters had been notified by UPS that the box they sent arrived to them empty and damaged on June 26 and it needed replacement. I sent my first email with. Pdfs of the UPS screens and details requesting my hat as I needed it for a party on July 14. Automated email said response in 24 hours.
24 hours later nothing so new email. And 6 hours later a call. First. I was told it was my fault for not notifying them because UPS tells their warehouse and Customer service does not get the information?!? I replied kindly that had I not had the death in my family I likely would have noticed it sooner butvitvis not my fault you and your warehouse dont communicate. Then she said I'd have to wait weeks while they investigated. I reminded her there's nothing to investigate. UPS already completed that and I don't have my hat. She then promised she would overnight my hat so I would have it in time for my Friday event.
Friday came and went, nothing from this company who has already billed my credit card last month.
I went online to Sheplers, ordered my exact same hat for $5.00 less and got free overnight shipping. I sent an email the same day I ordered my new hat canceling my order. Today I called (since again no email response) and they had done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ON MY ORDER AS OF 7/24/18, A FULL MONTH after notification by UPS and 4 emails and 2 customer phone calls. I requested an email certifying they were canceling the order and crediting my credit card and told them they lost a customer. He could have cared less. He first said i wouldn't get an email then when I asked for a manager he said, oh wait yes you will. You guessed it. Several hours later, my instant email I was promised detailing my credit is still not here. Use Sheplers. Their customer service and prices are top notch!
