“Love these "Old West" Boots”

Ordered my first pair of boots from here last week and they arrived today! Must say I was a little more than anxious to get them because of some of the comments and my history with online ordering... All my worry was for nothing... these boots are so beautiful and fit just as I had hoped. There is quality in the workmanship and the price was good as well! I will definitely be ordering more pairs in the future. Thank you, Barbara Martin

Sent me a pair of boots with security tag, won't give me a refund, instead sent me ANOTHER PAIR WITH A SECURITY TAG ON THEM, sent them back, then get harassed asking me if I don't send them back I'm getting charged AGAIN for the second pair. When they were delivered that morning from the tracking THEY provided. Unbelievable.

I purchased a few pair of Ariat jeans from this company, the actual button that holds them up came off after just a few months. I contacted them and they had me send the jeans back for them to evaluate, they sent them back and said it was normal wear and they would not replace them nor refund my money.

I have tons of other jeans that are 2-10 years old and the button is still intact. If this was a Wrangler or Levi Jean issue, they would send you a new pair...

Had to give it 1 star to post this review, company does not deserve that...
Spend your money elsewhere.

Can't get in touch with them. I have a $900 charge pending. Someone went in my account. Have emailed them 6 times with just the automated response that they got my request. Once I get my money back they will not hear from me again.

The first time I ordered from this company (2021) I placed the order and my card was denied. So I ran my card again. Again denied. Gave up and decided to check my account bc I knew I had funds. Lo and behold I had been charged $500 TWICE. Called customer service and a kindly old lady gave me a huge apology, figured out my order, and within a couple weeks I had my refund and my purchase finally came. Fast forward to last week. I had forgotten the name of the company I'd had this experience with and ordered once again from Country Outfitter. Same experience with my debit card: card denied yet funds taken from my account. No email regarding an order being placed. Called and spoke to three different people over the course of the week and all gave me the run around. No responses to my emails. This company needs to be shut down for good. According to reviews here it is scamming countless people. Reporting them myself this week. AVOID!

Never again will I shop at country outfitters. Ordered boots in an 8 1/2, they fit like a 10. After shipping them back for an 8 at my expense, I waited for a month and after contacting them 3 times by phone and then seeing that it was evidently cancelled because my charge went back to pending on my card, they told me they were on back order and would be shipped out in January 2020. I never cancelled my order, yet they evidently did and didn't notify me. Last call, advised me of back order, then I cancelled order. It cost me $10 for my aggravation. Still pending on my acct. Talk about scam.

The return process is deliberately flawed. You can't print the return label and form, so you need to email it. The email allows you to print the return label, but the like to the form is dead, sending you an ERROR message. Still waiting for refund after 2 weeks.
They're either having growing pains OR they're crooks... either way, I recommend avoiding this site!

Bought 2 pairs of boots. One poor fit. Sent back and got store credit. Ordered another pair of boots that also were awful. They would not give me my refund saying I used store credit so they couldn't refund my credit card. But I used the credit card for the original purchase. Around and around and around. I threatened better business bureau and contacting paypal. I have the chat transcript. Within 5 minutes of my threat, I called my credit card company and began opening a dispute. Lo and behold, within 5 minutes, my paypal account was refunded. Minus the lousy $5.
There is no phone number to call because it is just a recorded message that disconnects you. You can only chat and the person I dealt with was clearly a moron. I wish I had read reviews prior to purchasing but I saw "google trusted store".
STAY FAR FAR AWAY.

I ordered a hat over a week ago. The website told me it was in-stock and would ship in 1-2 business days. Fast forward 8 days and I have yet to get a shipping confirmation. I tried to continually call their customer service only for them to hang up. Finally, I chose the option that I wanted to purchase a new item and what do ya know, they picked up. I was informedly item was backordered (what happened to it being in stock like I was originally informed?) I immediately cancelled and will NEVER shop here again.

This company is a complete joke. I was sent two defective pair of boots and was lied to constantly by the chat room girls. The second pair that I sent back was returned to me almost a month later. THE SAME DEFECTIVE PAIR. These people are scam artists. They somehow were able to remove the negative Google reviews that you were able to view if you looked them up under google maps. I contacted the state of Arkansas and the Federal Trade Commission regarding their business practices. Constant lies and deception

I ordered a pair of boots on cyber monday and then they said they sent me an email stating my credic card address did not match(it is correct) and then they offer me a 10% discount insted of the 25%. Never shop with them again!

I love in Canada and I ordered boots during the Covid pandemic. They can in less than a week to me on the east coast. They are true to fit and high quality. They also gave me updates as they happened with my delivery. Will DEFINITELY be ordering from them again!

BUYER BEWARE!

This business takes money out of your account for shoes they know they do not have.

I placed an order online and they accepted the order. When my product didn't arrive via the expedited shipping I paid for I called and was told that they never had the shoes. They were on backorder for a month. The website never tells you that so YOU can decide weather you want to wait or not.

The messed up thing is that they took the money out of my account and lied about putting it back the next day as promised. This is day 3 and they still have my money.

NEVER AGAIN!

I bought some boots and promptly returned them because they didn't fit. Come to find out they charged me $5 to return AND they charged me another $5 for a damaged box! I emailed them explaining I didn't damage the box but they said I did. After a few back and forth emails I told them "that's fine if you want to charge me for a box I didn't damage but I will never shop with your company again and I will make sure and tell my friends and family of my negative experience". They didn't respond. They DON'T CARE about their customers. I regret doing business with Country Outfitter.

Ordered 2 items that said they were instock come to find out only one was the other was on back order so they sent the one out and reimbursed the price of one. I ordered 2 so the price of shipping would cover both they want me to pay shipping on each they say they sent emails saying that they couldnt do the back ordered one that i never recieved a email so fed up

Ordered four pair of Dan Post Boots from the on-line catalog. The boots sent were Laredo Boots, not Dan Post as in the on-line catalog. They insisted the boots were Dan Post boots shipped in Laredo boxes by mistake, they communicated they were sorry about shipping the boots in the wrong boxes--(Bull!) The labels inside the boots clearly say Laredo, the boxes are labeled Laredo, the invoice and on-line catalog say Dan Post. This is clear "Bait and Switch". They stated they would not accept a return, but would give a $10.00 gift card to be used in a future purchase. I wish I had read their reviews prior to placing the on-line order. I am filing a dispute for payment with my credit card company, since Country-Outfitter seems unwilling to resolve this issue.

I ordered a pair of boots, thought i was, getting a good deal BUT the boots didnt fit. Couldn't get a hold of anyone to return them no phone number found and the, website to contact never contacted me after a, week i gave, up and listed boots, on ebay. Out $230.00.

I placed the first order which arrived 1 week late, it was the wrong size so I sent it back and asked for full refund. I placed another order on the 13th and received e-mail confirmation but never got shipped! I sent several e-mails asking about the status but I didn't get any response! I called today 8/19 and was informed that the order is cancelled because item is no longer available! I didn't get my first refund and my 2nd order was cancelled without even notifying me! I called American Express, filled a claim and will get my full refund for both orders. Do not order from this place!

Bought a ariat palm hat that was just trash, I didn't even attempt to return or exchange it because the $10 they charge for returns/exchanges wasn't worh it. The hat was damaged and when I tried to reshape it it just fell apart. I wouldn't recommend Aiat hats, country outfitter or boot barn.

NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE! I ordered a pair of boots for $210. I waited a month just for them to tell me the boots were on back order. If they were on back order I would t have even purchased those. They should inform you before you purchase them! Then after they took my $210 out of my account they said I didn't have the funds for the boots so they weren't going to ship them? They already took the money out? So I call customer service and the lady I spoke to was a total $#*! that had an attitude with me? If you work in customer service learn to talk to people in a polite manner. This place is a joke just looking for money.

I have tried contacting Country Outfitters via email about my hat that is falling apart in 3 places within a month of getting it and not one answer to my emails and calling them out on Instagram. This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with and I will make everyone aware of my experience... DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I ordered a vest from this company, it was supposed to be here in 5 days. After 6 days I called them, they assured me that it was in transit, despite the fact neither of the tracking numbers I was given worked. Called back a week later, they said it had gotten lost and that the item I ordered was no longer available, so they said they would refund my purchase. Now several days later I see they refunded the cost of the item and the tax, BUT THEY KEPT THE SHIPPING COST - ON AN ITEM THAT NEVER EVEN LEFT THEIR WAREHOUSE. I HAVE SPENT, WITH 3 PHONE CALLS, AT LEAST 2 HOURS ON HOLD. $#*! THESE PEOPLE.

Omg. To say I was TERRIFIED after reading these reviews would be an understatement. I ordered last Thursday and then Friday I googled to see where there might be locations of this company just out of curiosity and I stumbled upon these reviews. I DO NOT usually spend this much money on myself so that made the whole situation even scarier. All weekend I was scared they would never come or they would be fakes or the wrong size or the wrong boots or something. BUT they arrived today right on time and THEY ARE AMAZING! They are first of all gorgeous, also the size is perfect, and the smell! Ahhh the sweet leather smell. These are quite possibly the best shoes I have ever owned and I may quite possibly never remove them from my feet. I am IN LOVE. I have no idea why so many other people had such bad luck but I just want others to know that it all worked out for me. The price was also incredible, definitely the best I found after searching many sites. So hopefully this company has changed the error of their ways and other people will start to have success stories like mine.

I was happy to order from their nice selection of boots that my GF absolutely had to have. Too bad when I received the shipment the condition and way it was shipped was incompetent to say the least. The box was too big for the boots causing the boots to move freely inside causing pieces of the boot hardware to come off. Not only that but the box was not properly sealed causing the piece to fall out! I would have gladly glued the end of the tassel back on. The return shipping was easy enough. I had to add packing to the box and taped securely. Not Hard! Why they couldn't take a few minutes to do the same thing when shipped is beyond me! OK So I received confirmation they received the return and was expecting an exchange from my request online and a follow up email to customer service stating exactly what I wanted. Then nothing... I searched my credit card statement to find a reimbursement minus $10. So I didn't get my exchange and paid $10 for terrible service. Clearly the people there are either incompetent OR malicious, denying me of my request AND charging me $10 for the experience. You gotta do better than this! I want to support and buy from businesses in America. You need to develop some pride in your work and realize how important small / medium businesses are in America.
