Credit Karma

I have been using this Credit Karma website for quite some time.
It wasn't until they lowered my credit score 9 points based on information they supposedly received from Trans Union which also changed all my credit limits of my 11 credit cards to zero. I do not mind the credit score but the false information that my credit limits were reduced to zero made it hard for me to tolerate.
I contacted 1 or 2 of my credit card issuers and they told me that my credit limits were OK and that I was in very good standing with them.
I contacted Credit Karma and they said that their records were based on what Trans Union gives them and told me to contact Trans Union which I did.
Trans Union was very helpful and they showed that all my credit card limits were OK and in good standing and told me to contact Credit Karma. Sounds like a runaround right?
So this is why I am writing this.

Deposited money in savings on Friday. It's now Thursday night and I still can't withdraw it. The website says 2-3 business days. I'm going on 5. DO NOT USE THE SAVINGS ACCOUNT. I've emailed and called and all I got was excuses. The guy on the call told me it was because the holiday (father's day) which was on a Sunday... This is ridiculous and I used to love Credit Karma.

I miss-wrote my BIP 38 password 2 years ago. I tried many times to find it out but no success so I thought it was impossible to get the funds back from my paper wallet. I'm trying to help my son repair his credit. Credit Karma has of late not allowed me to log in. I keep getting the Oops message and understand this is due to my use of VPN. I use VPN constantly to keep everything safe and am willing to pay for it. If Credit Karma, unlike my bank, credit card companies, savings accounts, retirement account, will not allow for my use of VPN, then I refuse to use it. I have turned to Credit Sesame instead. Credit Karma get with the times and don't use such an outdated tech that punishes VPN use.

Last week on credit karma I checked my score. My credit score is 748. I have a $6800 car loan with CapOne/ $179 monthly payment 4.37% interest with 36 months or so left on the loan. Credit Karma / AutoPay teaser states 2.49% 60 months new payment of$124 savings $660 a year! Sounds like a great deal, so I apply. Once information given to autopay, rate is switched to 5.99% with a new payment of $194! WOW! Thanks for the $15 dollar increase in monthly payment offer AP... Where do I sign up?! NOOOT! When you "customize" these options, to get a $127 monthly payment, interest goes to 6.74%! That's $2,347 INTEREST ADDDED on top of the $6800 loan! So much for $660 a year savings... and now I'll have a ping for 2 years for a credit inquiry. Not happy with the bait & switch Credit Karma. :( I posted this exact review on credit karma, not anonymous, and 5 days later,,, it still hasn't been posted. Apparently CreditKarma doesn't want the truth to be told either, that's why I sought this site out.

Gives you access to you credit score (TransUnion credit score, not the FICO credit score) for absolutely free. Unlike other credit score or credit report offers which only offer a free trial (and are often an absolute pain to cancel), Credit Karma does not even require a credit card to sign up. Could be an important tool to use throughout the year in addition to getting your free credit report once a year with AnnualCreditReport.com (the real US government site).

In my first review I stated that I was in the market for a new car and that I hoped the dealer wouldn't use creditkarma's scores. Well, I bought a new car and the interest rate was higher than I expected due to the low credit score I was given. Not sure if it was CreditKarma or not, but my scores from other sources was in the 730 to 750. My credit score for the car purchase was around 680. My score is now 669 according to creditkarma, but my score is in the low 700's from other sources. I sure don't understand how these scores are arrived at and why there is such a difference.

To be very honest, I had the worst experiences with false investment firms as an Amateur but couldn't fold my hands and do nothing while these scammers take us for fools which I'm not. Need to see my tax return, so I can do Form M1PR. [I know its late] Been able to see tax forms in the past. KC says will send a code, my email is the same but CK keeps saying will sent to phone I KEEP ON entering my NEW phone number, but keeps saying will send password to 9378 this is old, KC wants me to send picture of my ID I cant I don't have a fancy cellphone! Keep going in circles. Clicked on will sent ID thru snail mail and every time I click on it. It says OOPS can't do that. I'm in tears very frustrated. Also answered all questions on school I went to, maiden name... that did not help at all.

Two years ago I went through a foreclosure which dropped my credit score from 720 to 630, and then I later had some hard inquiries that further dropped my score to 610. I was in desperate need of dealing with credit karma's spend account. As of February 6,2022 my account was frozen due to my mothers income taxes been deposited into my into my account. I provided all the documents requested, and once I did that they completely disabled and deactivated my account. I got nowhere with customer service and they don't let you speak to anyone else. I became worried because my income taxes were scheduled to be deposited next week into the same account as well. I called the MVB bank affiliated with them but they were no help either. I had bills to pay and a family to support so I researched on google for help. I Want to thank you "Hacktech101@ Webname. Com" for everything you have done for me and my mom. You don't know how happy my mom was when she got the news that you have successfully recovered her income taxes from karma. I will keep recommending you.

I used to have an amazing life and credit score but that changed last year when I couldn't pay at once, the entire balance of my accumulated medical bill. Although I set up a payment plan with the collections agency, but the debt continued to crumple my credit score even as I kept paying it. Good Morning, I have worked on my credit and my score has gone up but I had about 3 old past balances from like 2 or 3 years ago on my credit report that I did not pay. They were not too much so I contacted the creditors and paid them off 3 months ago but they wouldn't get them removed from my credit report. Thank you 'Cyberdon AT techie DOT com' for helping me take care of the damage this had caused my credit. When you handle credit issues, things turn around positively.

I have been a member of credit Karma for around 2 years. Started with a horrible score 490 or something like that, I have now made every single payment on multiple accounts, been responsible with my CC's all of them paid off every month. I was just cresting a 700 when my credit dropped around 25 to 35 points, not once but twice, credit now is mid 600's, pretty tough to buy a house when my scores are all over the place so I can never trust that my timing is right.The fact that the information you use contradicts itself in the platform is all the proof, hundreds of on time payments with derogatory length of credit usage which has also changed multiple times over the years, how is that even possible? I have watched this religiously, daily. I busted my butt to get my credit to a decent place only to have your company and the 3 bureaus make a mockery of credit, take 40 points give back 7. Pay to play.
I suppose if you write back it will be excuses like it's a free service or there are many factors blah blah. I'm aware of the game is played.

I tried several days straight to update my account info but the customer service people are just dumb they apparently can't comprehend ENGLISH and they act like my little change is for the check y r the people who want to help have the thickest accent and get frustrated when you ask to speak to someone else cause you can't understand them I will not be coming back or recommending anyone to your services

Omg, a nightmare situation. My tragedy unfolds just like this... I have been working insanely hard to repair my credit. I got an offer from credit Karma on a loan option to pay off debit's, consolidate, or just general purpose loan. I logged in to see what my options were, I read carefully, that this would not affect my credit score to get pre approved. Ok, let's try and see what I can get, answered 3 questions, and there is goes my worst mistake ever. My score dropped 58 or and I'm sobbing until I literally had to go to the emergency room, from a panic attack. I could not believe that credit karma would do this, this is unrealistic, and I still will never ever take advantage of this offer, with at 27% interest rate. Beware all, if you think for one second that you are doing a pre- approval, they con you in, it is the application itself. But as they sent me a email earlier, it still states that it was only a pre- app. God please give me the strength. I promise I'm writing everyone, if I die drying to get my story out, I'm fighting to the end.

Working with BoostMyCredIt@ FastservIce DOT Com, a credit repair company has not only been an eye opener but also raised my score above 780 at the lowest time of my life when I got extremely behind on child support. This had a bad hit on my credit score therefore making it seem irreparable.
