Hmm, you might have noticed that in the websites I've reviewed to date, all have 5 stars. Well, I want to let other folk know about solidly reliable places to do business. CRLawrence deals with windows, doors railings and the like, needed for construction. It's a massive organization with a strong service record. Unlike Sears or Home Depot, you can't just sign up and purchase from them or even know the prices. However, they have online perhaps the most extensive offerings of doors and windows, mostly of aluminum and to suit every purpose from simple, to hight fire rating, storm resistance and even bullet and vandal proof.

It's worth visiting the website while planning contraction, to at least have some idea of the range of quality available for your project. The do not advertise to the consumer. People who are in building trades know of them. Whether or not your builder gets product from them or some other source might depend on special relationship and even kickbacks or double invoicing, one for you the customer to see and the other, the real one showing what the products costs.

Now the costs for like products can vary enormously. A custom double pained high level door from Fleetwood might cost $7600 before installation. The door is very well made and locks at 3 points with a simple easy turn of one knob. However, that quality might also be obtained for about $3,500 to 5500 from CRLawrence. Here, the local middle man, retail store owner or distributer is not between you and the principle supplier. The only issue is that you contractor needs to open an account with them.

In addition, if you are beginning an adventurous building project, one can sit down with one of their consultants and they will guide you as to the choices available and how to navigate the massively broad choices one has and even get a tour of some of their showroom examples of their latest doors, windows and railings.

At least, go with your contractor to visit. Likely as not, you'll find what you need but also the prices that your contractor gets from them and gives to you will be real and not include any duplicity.
