Easy booking and follow up email. Jorge Rodriguez was very informative, had great customer service skills and was exceptionally pleasant. He helped me book the right add on items for my needs. I would travel with Cruise Direct again in the future.
This company charged me $3000 when it should have been $1750. The refuse to refund the money. Absolutely rudest people ever! DO NOT LOOSE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID
I booked a last minute cruise - easy and straightforward. I noticed on the email confirmation the drink package was not included. I contacted them and they added it with no hassles. Looking forward to the cruise - hope it is as good as the booking experience.

This is my first time using CruiseDirect and I was very pleased with the excellent service provided by Enrique. I recently booked a cruise and I would check in periodically to see how the prices fluctuate as the sail date approaches. On this particular cruise, I noticed the price we paid for an interior stateroom was now the price for a balcony! I called Cruise Direct and spoke with Kyle who called Norwegian to see if they could upgrade our cabin at no charge because of the price change and I was pleasantly surprised when Kyle informed me that they upgraded us! Thank you Kyle for your help and thank you Norwegian for your hospitality!
For quite a few years our family has been choosing CruiseDirect as our major instrument to book cruises. Does not matter we live in Europe, we always received very good care and most satisfying service from the Customer Service before and even after a cruise. Recently we booked cruise with NCL but could not resolve issue of their CruiseNext deposit, how to add it to our payments. We tried to get answers from NCL via e-mails but did not receive answer apart of confirmation of e-mail receipt. Mr. Enrique Bravo was a CS person who interfered, helped to find traces of the deposit and add it to payments already done. Many thanks to him and other Customer Service colleagues! Good work!

We booked a cruise with CruiseDirect.com two years ago - it was our first cruise and we had a wonderful time with no hitches.
We wanted to book another cruise and as I am now very hard of hearing I went on to the online chat Our chat agent was extremely helpful especially as its difficult for me to use the telephone which she didnt see as a problem at all and we are looking forward to our cruise on 6th February which I am sure will be just as enjoyable as the last.

Their price is very good. Some agent was not careful enough. The second time I made reservation was done online, trying to avoid another careless agent. But I made mistake. Agent Aaron Liwanagan was very nice and patient when helping me solving it.
My first time using a site such as cruise direct to book my vacation. The dates for the cruise I wanted were not available so I called and spoke with a cruise advisor, Ryan, he check as well without any luck. Ryan gave me his telephone number with extension and told me to keep calling back and to continue to check the website for any availability that may just pop up. I spoke with him several times and he went out of his way to be helpful, very pleasant to speak with and followed up with me several times. A few days after I was booked I received a lovely email from Ryan wishing me a great day and that he was happy that I got "my golden ticket". A huge shout out to Ryan Grulke! Keep up the fantastic work!

I spoke to Carlos Garcia via the online chat since i had an enquiry on Speciality Dining for the cruise I had just reserved with Norwegian Line. He promised to make enquiries with the cruise line. He came back to me with a reply and he did so before the day was out. Very easy way to communicate and an efficient way to solve an issue, especially with me residing outside the US. Thanks.
Enrique with Cruise Direct went to bat for me to get a full refund when the cruise line itinerary was changed. Because of some confusion with the travel group I was in I missed the deadline to cancel my cruise. The cruise line refused multiple times to give the refund. When I explained what happened to Enrique, he went to bat to get me the refund anyway. He ROCKS! And I'm happy.

Hans Vega was amazing. My husband and I have poured over cruise sites for weeks knowing that we have budget and time for a cruise with the family, but sites are not set up for groups of 5. Some are "kids free" but then it doesn't ask for ages. Others ask for ages, but don't have all the options - why? Hans Vega proactively explained the cruise industry and room booking. He quickly searched all the room combos I asked for and also proactively found an alternative cruise with one room for my whole family. Overall GREAT experience. AND he put on hold on 3 options for us so that my husband and I could take time to consider knowing that they won't disappear. CruiseDirect.com is the best website to book your cruise if you are looking for the best of the best prices, even compared to the cruise line's prices. Their customer support are the best as well. You will never thought of booking to other websites other than CruiseDirect.com
Don't believe their price guarantee, and be aware of the hidden fee to change/cancel by cruisedirect. They want $35 per person to cancel even cruiseline doesn't charge.
False advertisement. They said no cancellation fee but then try to charge $35 per person

We apologize for the misprint on our site. All bookings made as of Nov 1,2021, can cancel without any cancellation fee from the agency. This does not include any cruise line penalties, however, as an agency we do not charge any cancellation fee.
We do have a best-price guarantee as long as we follow the rules and regulations of the cruise line. All bookings are subject to request for a price match as long as it is prior by at least 1 day before the final payment date. Once the final payment date arrives all bookings are locked into what they have.

Cruise Direct also has a lot of cruise deals but I haven't been able to find much to distinguish them from all the other websites that offer cruise deals. I found the customer service at Vacations To Go to be better.
Cruise Direct Agents were very helpful. They got me set up real quick and provided me enough information about my MSC Seaside Cruise. Kyle Hirano answered all our questions and went above and beyond to help us get the best pricing possible. When we were booking the cruise lines computers were down. Kyle took our phone calls each time until we could get through to make the reservations. Not only did he show patients with the cruise lines computers but with all of our questions regarding gift cards. Kyle you are the best! Cruisedirect gave us the best pricing and best service.

I am so sorry to hear that your booking was canceled! Our system sends out 2 automated emails and then an agent calls and emails the guest prior to a booking canceling due to nonpayment so I would like to review this and see what I can do to help you here. I can assure you we never want to lose a booking so we would not intentionally let a booking cancel. If you do lose your deposit, the cruise line is the one that keeps that money, so there is no motivation for us to try and trick you into losing money.
