Bought a stereo for my run of the mill 2014 caravan. Their instructions said no cutting of the dash required. Well, after wiring I up I find I does not fit in the opening. The radio is too big so without hacking the outer dash, it's not going to fit. I decided to call and find out I this was normal and all I got was attitude. Tech told me I didn't read the instructions or fit info. When I proved him wrong on both counts, he then said I must have some special model. No apologies, no solutions, he just tried to blame me. And then hung up. I'm sending this junk back. If I can't can't get accurate fit info or tech support I might as well buy it on Amazon for less money.
This is probably one of the best companies in regards to customer service left. The prices can be a little high sometimes but the service makes up for it by far.
I had a question about something I bought from them years ago and they responded within hours and very detailed.
They also supply a lot of the little things you need for car installation.

Bought some Quad s-2 speakers. They arrived on time and were well packed. I had no problem with setting them up and they sound great in my small room. Crutchfield did a great job with this item as far as I'm concerned.

I have a 1981 Cutlass Brougham. I needed a replacement power antenna. The website information I found with Crutchfield guided me right to the part that would be compatible with my 37 year old vehicle. And after I paid they sent me the pdf installation instructions. Part arrived in a few days without any premium freight. Would definitely rely on Crutchfield for other items. Jim

I originally had an issue with customer support not responding, however they explained that they never received the email. Possibly it was a website error, but nobody knows for sure what happened. Regardless, once they found out I had never received a response, they contacted me back immediately with an apology and made the issue more than right. So, in this case I have to give them credit for going out of their way to make sure they had a happy customer! Because of this, I will definitely order from Crutchfield again.

Just received device. Charging now however the battery is swollen on arrival. I hope though it works but going to need a battery replacement part for the disco itself. Please contact me so I can get that otherwise the review will stay at 3 for now.

I love my Audio Technica equipment. Purchasing through Crutchfield's web site was easy, and shipping was amazingly fast.
I called customer service/tech support regarding the headphones. The connector was wider than the intended port. They assisted and found an adapter. I really didn't want to return the headphones. The turntable is amazing. It sounds like a more expensive unit.

I bought speakers for a car from them in 1991, house stuff in 2002, 2010 and now Truck speakers in 2018. In the days of the crappy internet service, these guys rock! I really like their research in being able to match the OEM connectors so the speaker swap outs are really clean. No wire cutting or soldering required.

Ordered new speakers for my truck. About the same price as other popular online stores. However, the fact that I got the pigtails and installation brackets for free means I got a better deal at Crutchfield than elsewhere. Shipped it all the way across the country in 4 days (ordered on Sun, delivered on Thu.) I'd do it again.

Customer service is superb and what sets Crutchfield apart. I don't think you'll get better service ANYWHERE. I have consistently had excellent interactions with kind and knowledgeable real human beings every time I've ordered from them. Having said that, sometimes their prices are really competitive and sometimes they are quite a bit higher than alternatives. But, all said and done, I think the overall purchase experience is worth it in most situations.

I ordered from crutchfield back in about 1993, with a stereo for my car. They were good back then.
I ordered a head unit for my daughter's car in August 2020. Things are slightly different, Bluetooth microphone and a way bigger plug on the factory head unit. These things have changed, but not the crutchfield experience. If anything, it's gotten better since 1993…install videos, product wiring details, etc, all at a good price.

I was able to compare the head units I was interested in, make an informed decision, and then have the unit shipped to me quickly and with all the parts necessary to install it. I've installed many car stereos, but it's been a few years. My assumption that everything was the same had me running around in circles. I called tech support and the woman who answered the call was amazingly well informed and was able to walk me through installation step by step! She was terrific! I will definitely use Crutchfield in the future!

If you can find a place that does what they do, by all means go for it!
Instructions could be better/more specific and some items could be of better quality, but I haven't found any other place that will make self-installation less of a nightmare.

I had a number of questions about what I really needed and Rusty was great in giving me correct advise. After the products came I had issues with installation and he walked me through it on the phone (twice with 2 different orders). He is Great! So nice to have that type of support.
