I've ordered from Crutchfield for years. My recent purchase was exactly what I expected. Great service, great warranty, zero issues. Save yourself the trouble of ordering from places that have zero after purchase customer care...Sonic... If you want a worry free transaction order from Crutchfield.
Bought a stereo for my run of the mill 2014 caravan. Their instructions said no cutting of the dash required. Well, after wiring I up I find I does not fit in the opening. The radio is too big so without hacking the outer dash, it's not going to fit. I decided to call and find out I this was normal and all I got was attitude. Tech told me I didn't read the instructions or fit info. When I proved him wrong on both counts, he then said I must have some special model. No apologies, no solutions, he just tried to blame me. And then hung up. I'm sending this junk back. If I can't can't get accurate fit info or tech support I might as well buy it on Amazon for less money.
Okay, maybe not quite. But: I received the box from UPS by 2 PM, and put the last piece of trim back onto my truck by 4:30 PM. The installation kits from Crutchfield are top notch! My steering wheel controls all work, and the Kenwood looks practically OEM. I can't wait to start accessorizing further, by adding the dashcam and backup cam. My stock Bose speakers sound 100% better, and I have these new Kenwood speakers to install: I think I'll put them in the rear speaker locations. Then, add a subwoofer. Oh yeah, then there's that handy audio input which I can wire into my Kenwood ham radio tranceiver! My wife is going to love the newly integrated Android app that puts google maps onto the stereo face: I tried it this morning and it works like a charm. Hands-free cell calls? It's pretty much intuitive. Crutchfield, I really like how you curate these products of yours and put in the effort to really fine-tune the installation process. Buying from you guys is *so* worth it. Thanks!

My trusty DPX308u (purchased from Crutchfield in 2011) died last weekall buttons inoperable, only volume worked. A quick google search revealed that there was no fix for the issue. Enter Crutchfield.com for a replacement unit. My truck uses a double DIN space so my choices were easily narrowed down. I went with the DPX303MBT which is optimized for streaming/Bluetooth and has a satellite option. No CD, but I no longer use cd's anyway.
The unit fits exactly the same as the old one and I reused the brackets and GM data bus harness connector from the earlier install. Chuck recommended some (new to me) screw-together harness wiring connectors that were really great for tight splices.
Ryan confirmed everything before I made my order and agreed I would not need a new GM/data bus adapter. Shipping was fast!
Install was easy basically just match up the colors and splice the Kenwood plug in. Fit is perfect and the sound is even better than my old unit! I'm pleased!

The main reason I purchased from Crutchfield was because I wanted to make sure I had the correct install and wiring kits for my vehicle. Unfortunately the installation kit was poor quality, missing screws, and the instructions were lacking.
The installation kit was missing four screws, causing me to have to scrounge around for screws to hold the radio to the install kit. Also the clips and screws provided in the kit to secure it to the dash were un-useable with very poor instructions on what to do with them. Had to improvise and drill/screw my own screws to mount.
Needed to use the car the next morning so no time to call customer service and wait for correct parts to be shipped.
The Pioneer MVH-S600BS - Seems way underpowered. Like less powerful than the factory radio. I would not recommend this unit to anyone. Apparently you have to spend more to get something that produces factory level audio quality.
Disappointing experience overall.

I wanted to upgrade the door and tailgate speakers in my 4Runner. The rear 4 are wired in series and I needed 2ohm replacements. Crutchfield had exactly what I needed and it was at my door in 2 days. They have never let me down in the past and they continue to provide great service. I'll be back again.

I'm an electrical engineer, but that does not make me an expert on all things electric or electronic. And it seems that no matter how much research you do on your own, you can't really tell which product is the best for your particular goals and situation. And do you really want to spend many hours or days researching a purchase? I don't have time for that.
That's where Crutchfield comes in. I recently got recommendations on 6x9s, subwoofers, and an amplifier in an online chat with a Crutchfield agent. It was a 100% better experience than visiting my local CarToys store, where they basically wouldn't say anything except "bring the car in".
There is value in product knowledge and recommendations, and Crutchfield is good at that, yet they still manage to be price competitive. I've upgraded an F250 to a new CD player for less than $50 total with Crutchfield - and I'm still enjoying it. They have wiring and instructions that make installation really easy. I'm very impressed.
Tip for consumers:
Don't hesitate to call them or have a chat. They are very helpful.

I ordered a JBL Soundbar 5.1 from Amazon and waited over 2 weeks before they finally told me the shipment was likely lost. After I cancelled that order, I came back to Crutchfield... the webpage I used to research what surround sound system I wanted in the first place. I ordered the JBL Soundbar 5.1 on a Wednesday morning and it was delivered that Friday afternoon! The surround sound was ridiculously simple to set-up, even including the bluetooth connection to my cell phone. I'm overly pleased with my Crutchfield purchase!

Crutchfield is my go to company for high end A/V electronics. They have a great selection of products. Good reviews and sometimes videos of product lines. I just had my 10+ year old Onkyo receiver, originally ordered from Crutchfield, It was time to upgrade. After reviewing on the new products I settled on a Marantz. This being during the Coronovirus scare, was delivered within a week. After setting it up I bought some more products that are supported by the new receivers. I. e. New Denon HEOS spreaker and new Cambridge Audio Minx Mini. Again, fast delivery and the products work great. I am very pleased with Crutchfield. Thanks for the great service, I am sure I will be ordering more soon.

After years of growing up installing my own radios in my cars, I got old. It was time for me to install a new one in my Jeep. I hadn't done an install in 20 years. Was hesitant but didn't have a choice due to pandemic and others businesses refusing to do installs.
I knew Crutchfield would prewire it and make the process much easier. Boy was I impressed. Customer service explained everything and had everything at my house in 2 days. It came so fast that when GF told me I had a package, I assumed it was something else and that it couldn't be the head unit yet. Got home and to my shock it was the order from Crutchfield.
The install was super easy with the wiring harness. I had to worry about backup cameras and steering wheel controls. With the wiring harness, it was plug and play.
The install took me 30 minutes. I can't recommend Crutchfield higher than 5 stars or I would.

I previously purchased a Marantz Receiver and several Sonos products from Crutchfield. Having decided that I wanted to purchase an Audiolab 6000A integrated amp and a 6000CDT I began searching online for a source with good prices and service. Up comes Crutchfield and within a few minutes my equipment was on its way. The sound is unbelievably good! My only criticism would be with the packaging of the 6000A. Both pieces are the same size but the 6000A box was placed in a much larger box which was filled with peanuts. The outer box was coming apart and getting rid of the peanuts was a real pain. The 6000CDT was packed into a very slightly larger box with a handful of peanuts to cushion the inner box. It was very easy to open with no mess.

I've been considering a new receiver for some time and with a relocation coming up I thought this is the time to read reviews and watch pricing. The Sony STR-DN1080 features, reviews, and price were looking good to me; it was already reduced 25% off MSRP. When Crutchfield dropped it to 33% off I knew this was time to buy. This model has been out for nearly two years, hence the reduced price and I expect Sony to phase it out soon. This is the lowest priced, most feature packed receiver I've owned in the last 50 years. I'm looking forward to setting it up in our new home.

I received my order as promised, I ordered Rockford Fosgate 6x9 & 6.5 speakers for my 2019 Tacoma with the speaker adapters. The speakers do not match the adapter screw holes so I had to use a Dremel to make them work, overall they turned great & I'm happy with the purchase.

From the order intake -- straightforward and quick -- to the information about the delivery -- accurate and timely -- to the very quick delivery - within 4 days. In the current logistics environment with many company stating that things will be delayed and unpredictable because of the COVID crisis, Crutchfield provided excellent service from start to finish. And the product -- Klipsch Speakers - was excellent as expected.

Do yourself a favor and just get 2 skar audio 10s in a ported box from skar audio for 289.00 with free shipping this paired with an older 500 watt rockford fosgate which we all know is more like 600-700 watts this L7S10 2ohm doesn't even hit as hard as the skar audio 8 that is in a loaded tube. The box from kicker is nice n heavy but this speaker will leave you wanting

I purchased a car radio for my wife's vehicle. It's an older vehicle but she loves it and she loves music. I was concerned that, because the vehicle is an older model, I wouldn't be able to find a modern radio that was compatible. I was wrong! They had numerous radios to choose from and once I chose my radio they had everything I need to make the installation a breeze. The wiring harnesses were automatically shown to me after I picked my radio. It was my choice to purchase them or decline. I never felt pressured and accepting or declining the extras was simple. I accepted them and I was glad that I did. After I made my choice, I had a question about the capability of the radio. I sent them an email and they answered me almost immediately. The representative was polite and thoroughly informative. They also included step-by-step-by-step instructions. So easy, I think I will let my grandkids do the next install!

I replaced my outdated factory radio on my 2000 BMW M Roadster with a Dual XDMA760BT from Crutchfield. It was easy to install and has great features. I spent the extra $25 to have the Crutchfield tech connect the wiring harness adapter. I have had the radio about a week and it does everything as described on the website.

My experience with Crutchfield has been very pleasant. Customer support is terrific. I purchased my A/V sound system from these guys and have been very pleased with my purchase. There 60 day satisfaction garantee is a comforting aspect of the purchase. I won't buy electronics from anyone else again.
*DONT BUY FROM BEST BUY*
They have a 14 day return policy and you will be stuck dealing with manufacturers if you have a problem

While the install kits are sometimes iffy, the electronics and support are tops! I had to do some mods to the hang plate behind the dash, due to the Dash's curvature, it works, it looks good to an average observer, and it WORKS!

I first started using your company in the late eighties when I put together my first AV system, with a Pioneer 1080 and a Super Beta VCR. Those were the days, anyway back to the subject at hand. I received my Retro Sound (Monterey) with the Pioneer speakers a couple of days ago. Very nice set up for my 1952 Ford F1 pickup, looks very close to original with all the modern conviences and is very good quality

I really wish I could rate it higher but when I received my package it only was with one wiring harness pack and I needed two. So I had to go to Best Buy and buy another for 15$ when they dont usualy cost that much.

My husband and I ordered an 65" LG OLED CX TV from Crutchfield. They were the only store around with the exact TV we wanted, yet their price was competitive. The phone call ordering process was easy, the telephone rep professional, courteous and helpful. We did have a problem scheduling our delivery from UPS Freight on the day promised, but I called Crutchfield and Jamie resolved it quickly. She was understanding on the phone and went out of her way to get the TV delivered promptly. I appreciate her service and that of AnneMarie who I checked in with the next day. Both Jamie and AnneMarie were courteous, professional and helpful. Thank you all -- I love my new TV!

I ordered this sony headunit using the suggested list for my 04 tahoe provided by crutchfield and reviews of different products and I paid for the prewiring. My son put the unit in and he said it was a breeze and really appreciated having the harness prewired. The unit sounds good so far with my Bose system. It's only been since Saturday but so far so good. I'll update my review if anything changes my opinion. I would recommend this unit and buying from Crutchfield and the prewired harness.
Although I'm not fond of having to register with this site for my review to be viewable... I would much rather do it within the crutchfield website but couldn't find out how.

Ordered stereo and kit long ago, returned stereo, kept kit, ordered new stereo thinking I have the kit.
Got the stereo, oh no cant find half the kit.
Looked for four days but no cant find, had a chat and then they are sending me the parts I lost for the price that goes with the kit.
So happy and relieved. Al Humd O Lillah!

Mixed in the Polk speakers as replacements for "Energy" speakers in the 5.1 surround system. The bookshelf speakers replaced the front L and R channels, and replaced the center channel with a Polk. In addition to looking good, they sound, and harmonize extremely well, with the remaining Energy back channel speakers. I am not an "techie" audiophile, other than I know what sounds good... to me. These sound good... sound better than the speakers they replaced. At the price, it was worth a shot, and if they didn't work, I could use them elsewhere in the house.
