They do good work try to get you in and out they help you with good service. The process is easy.its helps to save lives and I'm all for living for the better
I've been there four times everything was fine until the fourth time then I ended up feeling threatened due to the way the people around there were acting towards me the staff person that was handling me was rude and ignorant and it caused other people that were there giving plasma to start being rude and ignorant towards me as well so I felt threatened yes I'm going to go back one more time and try it again see if I have any more issues if I do I will not go back again this is the first time I've ever seen this person working there
I've been doing plasma for about 3 years. It's a very clean and the people are all very nice. I've never had a problem with donation and will continue to donate.
Just going through my new donor pay twice i asked for a a manager and never got to talk to one. The staff are cocky my machine kept beeping and i noticed my donation seemed to be paused and not one person came to check my machine i waved and saw that people saw me but i was ignored and had to yell to get someone to check my machine then when it was over the lady taking out the needle was mad because i had to yell and roughly pulled the needle out of my arm and wouldnt even speak to me DO NOT go to the one on Market St in Houston
The Staff is amazing it's always a nice setting and environment, London stuck me today, I didn't even feel it, it was a great stick, definitely recommend.
I would definitely NOT recommend the Houston CSL site on Ella Boulevard in Houston, Texas. Yesterday was my very first visit. I was there for over 7 hours! I arrived just after 7:00am, and when entering was told that it would take 2-3 hours. The person at the front desk started my intake, but the majority of the first 4 hours I was sitting in the reception area. When I asked the armed guard (yes, they have an armed security guard that walks around inside) how much longer it would be, I was told that the reception person was eating her lunch! She was eating lunch while I was still waiting to be seen after 4 hours! To make a long story short, I was there in the reception area for close to 6 hours - no water or food - before finally actually getting to the back to donate plasma. It was after 2:00pm when I finished. I was so thirsty. I stopped at Walmart to get something to drink and nearly collapsed before getting out to my car where I vomited in the parking lot. A terrible experience. Being forced to go without even water for 7 hours is inhumane. There is no reason an initial visit should take 7 hours...ever. The staff at this site is incompetent.
From the first time I stepped into the CSL center in Mowry drive in Homestead I was treated with the utmost respect and given every opportunity to save lives with a friendly and courteous staff. Thank you CSL God Bless!
This place is a waste of my $#*!ing time I went there one time to donate plasma and waited a while then went back three more times just to be turned away $#*! them waste people's time
Being a new donor I'm considered a red which means that a new employee or a trainee it's not supposed to be sticking me. To go on with my complaint is that I gave the gentleman the opportunity to stick me because he stated that he was one of the best ones. Unfortunately he couldn't get my vain right so my machine Kept on beeping and finally they came and re stuck me. Well Well unfortunately the second person that stuck me didn't do a great job either which a manager had to come and help adjust but to my disappointment that didn't work so I lost a whole bowl of blood. It was very emotional to me due to me asking the employee since way earlier to just take me off because it was a discomfort. So now I'm deferred and I lost to be able to get all my donor fees. I'm a medical assistant and I guided them to my vain and it was still a fail just heart breaking when they don't take you seriously at all! All of this could've been prevented. What was more painful is that both of arms where bruised. Wish I would've saved the pictures but I didn't.
Good morning,
I want to start off by saying that over the years I have been donating, the staff at this location has for the most part, been polite, professional and the phlebotomists who draw the blood, skilled. Today, however, I encountered a different experience. For the past several months or so, I've gone to this facility to donate several times but the lines have been way too long and the wait to get a bed unacceptable so I've had to leave. Today (Tuesday) I was there at 7:30 and the line was way too long again. I spoke with a desk manager(or someone who said they were the desk manager) to express my concern about the lack of beds open and that CSL may need to consider hiring more personnel and opening more beds because it's difficult to continue to plan donations when people have to wait for such an extended time; especially when in the past it was not like that, to which she replied, as she pointed to the long line, "They don't seem to have a problem with it". I thought this response from a "manager" who I think would have customer service training, was unacceptable and not professional at all. The way she responded to my concerns has left me feeling disrespected and my feelings a bit hurt when I was only trying to find out why this is occurring and then suggesting how the overall donation experience could be made better. Please treat your donors with more respect and kindness, CSL.
Answer: Difficult because they are under staffed and are more worried about getting a lunch break or complaining about the job on the flour.
Answer: Octapharma doesn't pay good the first time. To me anyway. I like grifols out South Nashville.
Answer: Because of the new donor fee. You'll get $100 to $150 on the first day. Then like 100 on your second donation. Did like 60 or 80 on the 3rd donation. It depends on your weight as to how much you are able to give and get paid for
Answer: The first second and third donation after that your money goes down significantly
Answer: It's very legit it's real. You just have to deal with millennials and people who don't have respect for others their time is more precious than the consumer or customer. A girl has left me hooked up after a donation so she can go on break
Answer: Yes. Unless they have changed. You can go two days out the week. If you miss a day your pay goes down well mine did anyway.
