And the customers that donate
I rude, and on some time of something
I was done and just leaving and the girl down from me on my right side went up and tried to fight me when I was just leaving out the doors!
I wasn't talking to no one just texting my mom and I look up and this chick freaking out because no unhooked her yet and complaining about my white $#*! being in her row and how gross I am when I was just in my comfy sweater and legggings I wasn't doing nothing and I was still donating and some guy tried kissing me while I was in my seat
And my nurse that stabbed me made me feel bad about donating which was my second time and I can early but with the line and all those questions it made me take longer
I thought it closed at 7 pm
Kimberly was the nicest and sweetest person. Her needles did not hurt. She has a great smile and laugh.
Too bad the facility in Portland Maine is poorly managed, it has nice people working there. The management there needs to approach the backlog and bottle necks from a Manufacturing and Production stand point not a retail view. When there is a log jam of peopke waiting for hours to get a bed with only one persone working the beds you need to take all available Phlebotomist from their desks and screening and get them to the beds until the jam has been processed from the waiting area, then proceed to their other duties. Unbelievable how this continues to happen when it can easily be remedied even with the short staffing issues they have at this facility. I have been in production and manufacturing management for 30 years and this is apalling as a Manager. If you have available Phlebotomist doing a vitals screening function, that is a gross waste of an asset. A screening function is an entry level position only, all Phlebotomist should be working beds and fill in screening ONLY as needed. This is a constant issue at this facility and is only becomming worse. Corporate Management now needs to get involved and advertise for a production manager position for this site and a must requirement is to have a manufacturing background. These bottleneck issues would never ever be allowed in a manufacturing facility.
The last time I donated, had a few problems with flow. Staff was wonderful in taking care of me. Finished donation and off I went.
I am proud of the Plasma team on Assembly. The staff works hard and still make it happen with a small under staffed facility.
This a great place to donate all the staff us nice and friendly and look put for everyone that comes through they door
Unbelievably slow. Not well run on the donor floor at all! Staff don't seem to care that your here donating your TIME too.
AK, OB, lots of the new staff as well. Thank you. Professionalism matters. I would only change the payment process. Petite need help
Answer: Difficult because they are under staffed and are more worried about getting a lunch break or complaining about the job on the flour.
Answer: Octapharma doesn't pay good the first time. To me anyway. I like grifols out South Nashville.
Answer: Because of the new donor fee. You'll get $100 to $150 on the first day. Then like 100 on your second donation. Did like 60 or 80 on the 3rd donation. It depends on your weight as to how much you are able to give and get paid for
Answer: The first second and third donation after that your money goes down significantly
Answer: It's very legit it's real. You just have to deal with millennials and people who don't have respect for others their time is more precious than the consumer or customer. A girl has left me hooked up after a donation so she can go on break
Answer: Yes. Unless they have changed. You can go two days out the week. If you miss a day your pay goes down well mine did anyway.
