The myriad one-star reviews for Continental reveal the sad truth about this company: that it is was one without any honor whatsoever. I've worked for a lot of different security companies, but never felt so compelled as to warn others about how utterly unscrupulous this place is (although clearly many are already well aware of this). They have absolutely zero respect for their employees. I reported harassment and then was terminated a couple days later. The so-called HR guy Matt wouldn't even listen to what had happened to me. He's just the company's axeman, he's not there to actually help anyone. The site/client was Argus and they were set to renew their contract with them in March, so I was seen as a threat. The Cassens drivers had repeatedly yelled at me, demanding I break the rules/forget the SOP so they could have their own way. But I wouldn't, so three (including one who regularly created a hostile workplace) decided to get me fired. Bravo to the entitled jerks, you must've known my company Continental wouldn't do a single thing to defend me nor stand up for me. And sadly you were absolutely right.
They're never going to give you even basic information about the sites they send you to: bathroom onsite?/relief at end of your shift?/how much does it pay? It's funny, for as much disdain as Continental has for its own employees, they should wrap their thick heads around the fact that firing employees for reporting harassment is straight up retaliation. Hopefully they will one day get served the legal consequences they've sown with such blithe disregard.
This is a burner job at best. KNOW they do NOT have your back at anytime whatsoever.
Just do yourself one better and AVOID the unprofessional mess altogether.
