I ordered, they delivered as I expected. I do not live to endorse this or any other site. If that is not good enough for you LIVE WITH IT!
I ordered a re3fubished apple Mac Air. I understand refurbished is not new. When I recieved the item. It has a 3M zNitro preinstalled case. I realize it was installed to cover up a large dent on face. It took three weeks to get a return shipping label. I mailed back and website is showing retun staus rejected. Even though their rep. Kevin emnailed necessary RMA forms and shipping labels. They have had item for over week and still have yet to refund my $700. I have emailed numerous times and still no response. I understand it takes up to 3 days to process and addtional 3-5 for refund to reflect. I am on day 4 with no refund! No reply email. Nothing! The saying goes, If its to good to be true it probably is comes to mind now. This company shhould be held to the same customer service standards as any other company. After reading many of the reviews, I am scared I may have lost my $. However, that is why I always pay with credit card. I may have to file a complaint and refuse charges. All I can say is keep all email communication documented and always use your CC! The burden of proof of their "Daily Steal" from me lies on them now. Lets hope they do the right thing. Also, their returns policy says you can return within 30 days for refund or exchange. Do not let them fool you. If they say otherwise, it is fraud. I am not one to make nasty reviews, but their customer service and returns leaves much to desire. Lets see if one of their reps replies to this like on some of the others.
"I'm finally catching on to this "company's" antics. They got me for the second time and it's getting pretty obvious what they're doing.
Most recently I bought a "Sandisk micro SD card" instead they sent me some generic POS in a plain white envelope, nothing else, no little plastic baggie, nothing, just sitting in a plain white envelope presorted mail. So I plugged it into my Nook and it worked so I was like, yeah whatever.
About a week later they sent an email to everyone that bought the "Sandisk" card saying they apologize, it was a mix-up that they sent a generic, probably used, POS, and that you could claim $8 off your next purchase if you fill out all this paperwork and crap. Yeah like how many people are actually going to do that, why can't you just credit the account or send me a check? My point is they know only a very slight percentage will actually go through the trouble of claiming this money back. So not only are most people not going to claim the $8 off the next purchase, the ones that do claim need to come back and spend more money with them and buy more misleading generic crap. Like myself, I didn't bother; I will just never shop there again. So essentially they are selling generic crap for brand name prices. I will put any amount of money that they do this on a regular basis. It's actually kind of genius, I give them props, but it's also bad business and they will lose customers, and from the looks of this site they have lost alot already. But if the numbers make sense and you can afford to lose customers and keep scamming the new people, then I'm sure they will go for the money and not the loyalty. Also, watch out for their other crappy company "Ice Monkey"
They sold me a fake lanvin belt. I only realized when it was to late to return.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER! It's been close to THREE weeks and it doesn't appear that it's even been shipped!
STAY AWAY! RIP OFFS, really sad YOU CANT TRUST EM un
Ess you have money to give away, need to be thrown in jail.
I purchased a shirt. It is a very poor quality product. And also they are shipping very late.
IF YOU GET A GOOD DEAL THEY WILL CANCELL YOUR ORDER, THEY SELL A LOT OF GARBAGE AND THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS
Site is nice easy to order from but shipping is horribly slow.
Ishai,
Thank you for your prompt response to my request about further information on the warranty sold with the refurbished cell phone.
I went to their site and while I feel somewhat more comfortable, they have a $75 deductible for EVERY claim which is NO WHERE to be found regarding YOUR MERCHANDISE. To not provide that to the consumer is in my opinion as a consumer attorney a fraud against the customer on YOUR PART.
Assuming the phone makes it past the 30 day warranty you provide, the customer now faces a mandatory $75 dollar deductible if the phone can be repaired. If the phone can NOT be repaired, the warranty service pays current market value for a refurbished phone you sold.
On the 31st day, the phone fails. Customer has paid $49.99 for a one year warranty on a $59.99 phone worth how much? The deductible is $75 + $49.99 for a refurbished phone worth under $50. If the phone can't be fixed on the 31st day, the customer faces having paid $49.99 + $75 to get a check for $50 (the cost of the warranty purchase). The customer will have paid/lost $59.99 + $75 = $134.99 on a failed refurbished phone on the 31st day.
I believe you have a DUTY to disclose which you DON"T. Also, the SHOPPER APPROVED is only based on purchases and the best review is EASILY LOST by SHOPPER APPROVED in their "Active Reviews."
If people are advised of the risk above, and choose to take that risk, so be it. If the number of phones sold and warranted were reported, and the number of mechanical failures of those phones, that would be a more accurate indicator of the success of the phone rather than SHOPPER APPROVED and the like. Granted, the warranty includes customer damage as well, but folks need to know purchasing a phone and 1 year warranty could cost them $134.99 additionally based on your warranty and the warranty service. Your customers are entitled to know that information.
Thanks. Michael J. Duggar
Answer: Yes, worst customer services experience in my memory not worth any savings.
