My shipping changed 4 times. The customer representative was unable to assist me when I asked her: "Where is my package"? When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I received a rude response when I requested an investigation be made on the deliveries they state I received. They are utterly unyielding in their attitude or opinion in spite of all the customers request for help to find the packages they state they delivered. And they are absolutely unapologetic for the inconvenience caused. The only way to resolve my issue, was for me to call Federal Express to find out: "What is going on with my packages!". Federal express is a reliable service. We use them in our organization all the time and have never experienced an issue with our deliveries. They were able to confirm that the packages were not delivered to my address, but to another address, which they were unable to release to me. One word: WOW! I am in total disbelief. The items The Danbury Mint sell are very nice. But they need to strengthen their customer service representatives in resolving issues without becoming agitated and train them to have better phone etiquette. They should show the customer that they are concerned about their issue rather than respond with an unpleasant attitude. Because that is bad customer service. It's unacceptable.

I placed two orders on 10/08/2022. At that time, the order confirmation said, "ships in 2-4 weeks" for both items. I never received any order updates after that. I began checking on 11/01/2022 to see if the orders had shipped. When I checked the website, it said that the items were expected to ship in 24-72 hours. It is now 11/07/2022 (6 days later), and it still says expected to ship in 24-72 hours. When I called Customer Service to check on the status, a very terse woman told me the items were held up in customs and she could not possibly give me any information on their anticipated release or next steps. She said I should just keep checking back. I advised her that I never received any communication regarding shipping or delays from Danbury Mint, and she told me, "that wasn't their job." Hopefully I get my order (worth several hundred dollars). I will never be ordering from Danbury Mint again. I am so disappointed in the poor service and support. The items will not be here in time to serve as gifts as they were intended.

I would not purchase from Danbury Mint again.

8 times I've asked to be taken off they email list... 8 times I've been told it would be done. Yet I still get 3 a day, at least. Next time I am going to New York State Attorney General's office.

Danbury sent me an advertisement for a ring. It was Guarantee Christmas Delivery, 4 to 6 weeks after ordering. I ordered it the next day (first week in November). Received email that it had shipped on 12/7/20. No update in tracking since then. I sent an e-mail and received the following - "Thank you for your recent inquiry. We show that the order was shipped to your address. USPS are not updating their tracking in a timely manner due to the volume. You should see the order arrive over the weekend. If you do not have it by Monday, please let us know and we will order a replacement for you. Unfortunately, if we order a replacement, it won't make Christmas. We apologize for the inconvenience and delay. If we can be of further assistance, please let us know."
What happed to Guarantee Christmas Delivery? They managed to charge my credit card on time. I also called their service desk, completely useless. The gal could hardly speak English and had no update (actually I do not believe that she understood what I was saying). This use to be a good company, but from my experience and the other reviews, I would say their service has dropped dramatically and should be ready to go out of business soon.

Bought gold necklace and pendant for £99 it's lost it's colour and just found out it's gold plated honestly you would get better quality at a fairground so disappointed what a complete waste of money

I ordered a gift from them last year in November. They took the money from my account, sent me the receipt, sent me the product, and then started sending me notices that they never charged me and that I owe them money. I called them and told them about it and even forwarded a copy of my receipt and they told me they must have screwed up and I had to pay again. They are not threatening to send me to a collection agency for something I ALREADY PAID FOR!

My Queen Elizabeth Sculpture arrived and the brass plaque on the wooden plinth was off centre so I've asked for a refund & didn't get one apology from customer services!

Just spoke to a customer service rep. She spoke to me like I was a child. Very poor talking skills. Is this the way you treat customers. Then she just hung up the phone.

I ordered a bag that was supposed to be for fall with leaves and beautiful fall colors. Instead i received an orange and purple bag that looks like a halloween bag. I am very disappointed.

I was promised delivery before dec. 25,2020! Did't happen! DON'T EVEN KNOW MY GIFT FOR GREAT FRIEND IS! I WANT ANSWERS OR MY MONEY BACK! THIS REALLY SUCKS-WAS HOPING TO GIVE GREAT FRIEND GREAT GIFT FOR CHRISTMAS NOW SHOOT TO HELL! THANKS ALOT

I placed an order on 11/16/20. I received a email stating my order shipped on 12/8/20. Since then tracking has not updated and still says as of today 12/18/20 "label created, item not yet received". Just spoke with customer service. I was rudely told this is a problem at usps, that their not scanning in items. I can wait till next week to see if it arrives, or they can mark it as lost and order another item which won't be delivered till mid January. I was promised arrival by Christmas. Customer service is not willing to honor their advertisement. Bad business. Next stop, BBB, oh wait their not BBB accredited. Do yourself and loved ones a favor by looking elsewhere. Rude people practicing bad business. Where is communication that I wouldn't get my item by Christmas if I didn't call? What's the point in purchasing a Christmas gift advertised especially "before Christmas arrival"!?
Update: 1/14/21
The item was received 12/28/20.
Item was smaller than it appeared in pictures, I also received a "promotional" email 12/20/21 stating "order now for arrival before Christmas". Kind of a slap in the face to push the same delivery quotes that wasn't honored for an order placed in November. With this update I also included the stated promise for Christmas delivery.
Would never do business with this company again.

I ordered a anniversary ring from this company on 11/29/18. They sent me a confirmation email right away confirming all the details. I had ordered a size 6 ring. Then 2 weeks later they sent me another confirmation email saying they were sending me a size 12 ring! I called them and asked what's the deal here? Who do you think my wife is Andre the giant? I am 6 foot 6 and have huge hands and I only wear a size 9. They could not tell me what had happened and would reorder the right size but of course it would not get here for Christmas! Thanks a lot! The new order confirmation was sent to me and it indicated it would ship by 01/03/19. I kept checking and then the date changed to shipping on 01/15/19. Then when I checked the order again on 01/14/19 the website indicated that I did not even have an order with them. When I called them they were rude to me to say the least and tried to say I did something wrong! I did- I ordered a product from them! The rep said they would take care of it and call me back and email me. They have done neither. When I look up my order number now it informs me I must call them again! DO NOT do business with these disrespectful jacklegs! They prove they do not care!

Got a Denver Bronco Bracelet for xmas and it broke six times, CHEAPLY MADE IN CHINA AND PIECIES WERE PRESSED together, A piece of garbage for 100.00. THE JEWELER LAUGHED AT ME WHEN I FIRST BROUGHT IT IN TO BE FIXED. No pics threw it away

The fact that Danbury Mint's Customer Service closes at 5 o'clock weekdays and is closed over the weekend speaks volumes about their attitude toward servicing their customers. I should have picked up on that sooner. They do have decent stuff, but they place little value on long-time regular customers especially in the area of customer service and meeting delivery commitments. I placed an order for a birthday gift that was needed in 2 weeks. I asked the individual who took the order when would I receive the item if I paid for expedited shipping and I was told I could expect it to arrive the following Monday or Tuesday which was in plenty of time for the birthday. When it didn't arrive by Friday I called Customer Service which was closed because it was after 5 p.m.
And also over the weekend (So much for their idea of Customer Service). I was then told the following Monday, the day of the birthday, that the ring was on backorder until September. Can you believe! The best Danbury Customer Service had to offer were insincere "We're Sorrys" and a "We don't really care attitude". Needless to say I cancelled the order, told them to forget expedited shipping and take me off your Mailing List. Bottom line is, if getting your order by a certain date is important to you, better look eslewhere because this wasn't the first time they let me down this way. It's obvious to me that meeting delivery commitments and providing any kind of meaningful Customer Service does not exist in the Culture of the Danbury Mint. They need to take a page out of Amazon's book and get in step with today's world of Supply Management.

So I bought this Bracelet for my wife, it is our anniversary we have been married almost 40 years and I bought it both for the look and the the interior inscription. I did not open it before giving it to her, had I done so I probably would have sent it back. Overall my shopping experience went well, the web site was easy to navigate and the shipping was prompt via USPS. The packaging was about what I expected maybe a little better. It is the piece itself that is some what disappointing. First off the size, it is very large my wife is 5' 7" and around 120 pounds and wears size medium tops, this thing is so large it will slide right over her hand in the closed position, on her wrist it looks huge, I know it is a Bangle not a Bracelet but come on, unless your wife/girlfriend has arms like a Green Bay Packer Linebacker this thing is too big. But the REAL LET DOWN is the inscription, it is NOTHING like the photos. First off we have 20/20 vision and it is so small you need a magnifying glass to read it, also there is absolutely no spacing between words which makes it hard, but more importantly it is not black filled it is just engraved in the gold.

THE PHOTOS ON THE WEBSITE ARE VERY MISLEADING.

It will not even resemble those photos on the website. So good luck. This was my first purchase from Danbury and I will search out reviews in the future.
