Daz3D has a rating of 2.6 stars from 1,448 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about Daz3D most frequently mention sale items, and credit card problems. Daz3D ranks 570th among Graphic Design sites.
No complaints. I would like more categories at top navigation level. The listing facets are fine but cumbersome. For example, if I think there should be a category for your premiere product, Genesis 8.
Daz3d is a $#*!ty program that freezes up my computer. Avoid it. There are better programs out there.
My experience has been good for the most part, it just seems that a lot of the deals presented, are great deals for items I already purchased. Most of the items I get are things that have good prices and not necessarily what I need.
Its sales time!
They were on sale, so I took advantage of what I could. I do not have any problems, I'm happy for the most part - just wish the sales lasted a little longer than 1 night, and that the freebies were better choices.
Your site overall has a really clean UX and purchasing is always easy. The only thing I would say could use some work is the searching system. Like the other day I wanted to find Genesis 8 Male characters, but I can only choose that figure, which shows everything for G8M.
I've been using this creator's product for a long time and I saw they had a new lighting product available. Confident in the quality, I decided to purchase it from the new sale.
I wish you would make all the Michael characters for Poser. I am still using Michael 4! I got the Aiden character for the unique beauty of the texture, and I know that the textures will work on M4. I can't afford to switch everything over to DAZ, I am a disabled Veteran on Social Security. It breaks my heart every time a gorgeous new character comes out for the newer Michaels, and I can't use any of them.
The gift coupon.
An amazing 3D software system with a purchasable library of characters, clothing, environments, and accessories to make virtually anything you want. What more can you ask for. DAZ 3D is an amazing tool to learn both 3D artwork and to do original 3D animation. It has been key to bringing many of my characters to life.
I have been trying to get critical support from you all and haven't gotten it; I can't open DazStudio 4.2 on my Mac, and I am falling behind on my work as a result. I need quicker and better tech help.
Don't have the slightest.
I buy a ton of Daz products. I think the quality of every product is top notch! My only complaint with Daz3D site is the Gallery. It seems like there is a lot of bias, and that can be very discuraging.
Sales, I always look for the great deals. Clearance, $1.00 "tree" items. The 8 for 2.96 deal was amazing! I am always here, almost everyday! Wish there would be more utility sales.
Hi,
The legs parts are somewhat minimalist:(
I found this product pretty, but with No pose morph, no adjustment/tweaking slide buttons, and no shins segments parts...
It does prevent the dress from being adjusted to really suit well the character...
What a pity for such a Legendary dress!
But, it is a nice kit!

Hi, the "ZOOM" ratio is somewhat too near from the scene so I had to recompose the full aspect ratio by creating a sphere myself, and tweaking it to have a Smaller look and feel for the planets, on HDR 4, for example... PLanets are too big and one the opposite side of the scene, I mean not directly visible from FRONT...
Adding a fake ground helped and the rendered scene, as is, was more better than it was with the delivered product, for me...
My comment, here, is not general, because I "needed" this set to incorporate it to a scifi view you'll probably see if I have enough time to compete to the constet before March 31 ;)
The price, of course, due to MarchMadness opportunity...
AND the number of HDRI's furnished! As i still compose my B3D, now for years, organizing many, many scenes and "ambiances" throught THE AGES, space travel and conquest is only a part of the full story...
The average price quality ratio was so interresting I could not miss this kit! I make my buying decisions, sometimes, based on the %age of discount and, for this kit, it was pretty GOOD :) So, I bought it!
TYVM for all!

Daz makes awesome products for the novice (like me) and the professional. And with the Affirm option to get items now, while paying for them over time is BRILLIANT. I take advantage of this feature a few times this year.
I have some old generation 3 products I would like to see work with the newer models.
I love Daz and its various content. I am glad I don't need years of experience or natural talent as an artist to produce awesome work.
I really like the new setup of the store and the new setup for placing orders. I find it easy to shop and place my orders now. I love that I can view my cart without leaving my current shopping page as well.
Because the prices are more affordable which makes it easier for me to buy content.
I am a freebie addict I suppose lol.
There is no way to view the installed size of a model prior to purchase. You need to show the installed size on the description page!
Also, the "new and improved" thumbnail page of items by category wastes space on the left and the next page navigation at the bottom leaves you looking at the bottom of the next page and requires another button click to move to the top and begin viewing the next page items. Both of these problems did not exist in the prior layout. Bad page design!
Good products for my 3D work
They fit well in a project I am working on, and were attractively sale priced.
Very difficult to make purchase decisions when information concerning the SIZE of the installed packaged is not available ANYWHERE on the site. Buy blindly and hope for the best. BAD Customer Service prior to sale!
DAZ is my scene building and rendering software.
Helps in a project I am working on.
The only issue (today) I have is that the Generation X add on is either installed by exe or by the manager, and this means no matter what I do I cannot get it to be installed into the beta program... which wouldn't be a problem except the beta 32 bit and the official 64 bit for me haven't done anything more than freeze on the load screen for a few years nosw.
Um. Why would YOU buy something you want
I love Daz Studio and being able to buy everything I need from one shop. I also really, really like that I can use DIM to install of the assets. I have a new machine coming at the end of this month, but with DIM, I will be able to install everything in a few steps. You guys are doing great!
Price and quality.
I love DAZ Studio and how easy it is to find whatever I am looking for in the DAZ store. I just wish there was some more adult content as I am making an AVN and don't like having to manually download and import mature content into my DAZ librbary.
I need these for a few scenes I am going to use in my AVN.
Love the way DAZ makes it so easy to get started rendering. Great shop, easy to install assets, and DAZ Studio make the perfect combination for a newbie like me.
Ease of use, big store with almost everything you could want, and DAZ Studio, which I love.
Needed a set to practice rendering in with all the characters, poses, and wardrobe items I have already purchased.
I am new to DAZ and thinking of making a visual novel with 3-D models and renders. I really appreciate having the free items of the week so I can get acquainted with the software before I start spending money to make the VN I want to. Thank you!
Recommended to me by other developers.
I have never used DAZ or anything like it, so I am new to the 3D rendering and animation scene. I hope to use the free items to get familiar with DAZ and then I can start buying the products I want to have and get to work on my VN :)
I work almost everyday with DAZ and as a freelance coach, I advertise regularly for DAZ software and products. If I should mention a negative point, I would stress the fact that often the limit of usage possibillities (characters compatibility, need for additional components to put the purchase at work etc.) are not clearly enough expressed
I work in the field of illustration and depending of customer request, I might need a given component
I have been using DAZ for as long as the software existed. Most of the time a great pleasure especially since you automated installing new products. One thing I miss is a bridge to create in VUE
Someone told me about Ultra scatter pro
To add new possibilities to my creative work (I draw book covers for publications)
The program relies on so many 3rd party offerings and nothing works together. Got to have the latest offerings for the latest version and then the stuff you have from previous generations is supposed to work... but it doesn't. Don't waste your money!
One concerning flaw was I had an item in my cart that I had already purchased and it didn't notify me that I already owned the product. I had to remove it from the cart and review the item to double check and see the purchased sign.
I can't give a high rating because I feel strongly that there are features that should be in place in the store that just are not there. 1) A way to rate items we have purchased. 2) The date the item first came to be available in the store. 3) A way to "follow" favorite content creators. 4) A better way to contact content creators.
Sale pricing.
Honestly, we should be allowed to leave reviews of products, and the items should be dated with when they first became available on daz3d.com. Why don't you want to provide that information.
Hair I wanted was on sale
Customers should be able to rate products in order to share opinions with other customers and help them make an informed decision. A current way to contact the creator, and the date te item was originally put up for sale would be quite helpful.
The date each product was first offered for sale would be helpful, as well as a way to rate and review individual purchases. Right now, it's more or less a "buyer beware" attitude.
I think we should be able to publicly rate our purchases and write reviews. I see the images and I see the list of contents. You have made it harder to find "required" items. Also, bundles used to show which items I already had and discounted the orice accordingly. This is no longer true.
I liked an image I saw as part of the advertising for another product.
It would be helpful if customers could leave reviews on any items purchased so that the creator and ither customers could benefit from the information.
They were in my wishlist.
The new update to the store is atrocious. The Daz deals plug-in is broken so filtering by wishlist didn't work on anything except the 3 dollar deal, for some reason it worked on that one, but I really didn't wade through pages in the other categories. But then you click the next page and it doesn't go to the top, you have to scroll to the top. Then you guys made the product images smaller and now it feels super claustrophobic, and I'm looking at it on a 48" TV, so if I'm saying it looks cramped on that, I can't imagine how it feels on a smaller monitor.
There's a ton of comments from unhappy people about the new update in the forum section in the website update thread in the commons section, you guys might want to see how unhappy folks are.
I don't really buy from the other stores and the stuff I picked up I can use for my projects.
They're of good quality and I can use them. There's hit or miss products at Daz with some PA's in terms of looking very low quality, but for the most part I have no complaints with what's being released, the new website update needs to be relooked at as I will not be sifting through pages of stuff to find things. Oh and we can't search for a specific artist anymore in the artist category which I used that all the time as I know the PA's that are worth my time to find in sales along with stuff in my wishlist.
Great on the content! But the clothing tends to lean toward revealing to much of the ladies assists/body but it boils down to what sell the most and I understand. I am looking for a more modest female warrior. Thx
Looking for a gift card sale before Christmas
Due to the quality of the models.
In general, I'm very satisfied.
But a few days ago the desing of the shop was changed and now the product icons are much smaller than before. On my 32" 4k screen, I have now 70% white and I have to zoom the whole website, because the icons are otherwise too small!
Please, change this back, or let the customer choose the size of the icons.
I visit the Daz3D shop every day
I was looking for a long time for a model looking like this
I was given an $8.00 per item purchase, then it was taken away, there shouldn't be a time period to use the "gifts". And if this is the standard to giving gifts, then put an expiration time or use-by time.
A product I was intrested in adding to my growing library
I was charged twice for a purchase and submitted a ticket, and have not recievd a refund.
A lot has changed in the past few years, and most of it hasn't suited my needs or preferences very well. The new concepts of "bundles" aren't as tempting or useful as the older style, and the hard push on NFTs makes me really uncomfortable.
I have a paid membership, and I own a ton of product - it forms the basis of a significant minority of my professional work.
I was looking for deals, inspiration, etc., and picked up the current freebies. I've had cause to use almost none of the monthly coupons this year, because the sales and bundles haven't been what I'm looking for, and the economy has been a bit rough. So, I try to remember to at least check of free stuff now and then to recover some of the costs.
Every time I log in, I am taken to my recent purchase page, especially when I want to view a new item to purchase and the site forgets that I'm logged in. I wish the landing page after login stayed at the page I was viewing. When I added new items to my shopping cart today, a few previously-added items in my cart were missing; I found them again and had to re-add them manually, but that process is frustrating.
I check in manually to see what is on sale or has recent updates, since I don't get notified of them via email or other types of notifications. I'd really like to add items to a wishlist and, when they go on sale or have an update, I'd be notified of that.
Mostly to stockpile items. Weekly discounts/freebies are nice ways to promote some of the items, but since the sales don't last long, it feels like a "buy this item you don't want/need currently, so you can have it just IN CASE you decide to use it in the future."
Daz3d is FANTASTIC! All your people are great! I do love Zachariah the BEST! He's always helping me and making daz even easier to understand. I love the added options (or "un"-option boxes)- makes it even easier to weed in or out the still VAST selection of daz assets;
And I have almost 5000 of them. Okay, just thought I'd let y'all know.
Daz3d is the BEST - Bar, NONE!
I have almost 5,000 assets. I'm a disabled person that carefully goes through your sales and comparing them to my wishlist.
Today i found MANY of my items as "FREE" I put them in my carts TWICE in two different browsers. When I go to install them, only one or two items are there - and NOT the free ones.
This is terrible! Terrible Terrible!
I love daz. BUT i am buying other assets from other places because it always seems when I find sales -
They either dont work or wont work or are NOT applicable.
If i were paranoid, i'd think DAZ3d Discriminates against me.
I can't seem to make anything with all the 4000+ assets I've purchased from you - not to mention the thousands from other stores.
Jay Versluis' video. He's awesome! Thanks, Jay and Jay's mother and Julie and all the great people that participate in his tutorials.
Jay mentioned a contest and scrolled down something I overlooked when i saw this contest banner earlier.
I'M SORRY, but i'm disabled and am slow at learning if i learn at all. I actually was able to figure out the banner freebie again for NFT folk -what's an neft?
Love Daz and Jay/Julia Versluis
Jay Versluis training video directed me to the site and noticed I had an "unclaimed freebie"
I have 2 unresolved tickets with (failed) purchases.
That'd make me add more stars -as I have been going to other vendors despite owning 4000 daz3d items.
Well, I was more than a bit upset that a shader set was once available--and now, it's not. I just get an "Ooops" message that states it's NOT.
It was entitled: "City Building Facade Shader Collection"
It was like (between -$10.00 or $11.00 or whatever) and now it is listed as $14.95. And I can't even get it.
So, yeah. Not too happy.
I was after a specific offer
Because it was a 10-items-for $3 each sale. And I wanted them.
I do love daz3d and all you do for the 3d community. There is so much information and opportunities available. I know you obviously favor all things daz3d, the few of us with Poser so wish we could also play with new all the new toys only designed for daz studio. Just an fyi.
Because when I need and want the best I come here. I have other stores I support, but Daz3d is the mothership - and we all owe you guys (and gals) our full support.
I've been looking for a "death" character for quite some time and I found it. Plus the other item was on sale which helps.
