Easy to shop but could use better search abilities. I found more with browsing through a lot of items than I did trying to narrow searches.

Website does not work on phones, impossible to browse for things as half of the screen is covered. And no search or filter tools on phones.
..the 5 dollar gift used to be enough to get texture addons of products I own. Now I cannot even use it for them. Since 2022 most products and bundles are by far to expensive. V9/G9 not usable on older computer - and yes, I render with MORE than just a figure inside. I used to render story like images with big backgrounds giving information. Impossible with G9.

Recently in chrome some items are blank pages, not error page not found, just nothing loads beyond the header. I have to view in firefox.

Too expensive for very little. Store is slow to respond. The store itself needs more sorting options.
The products are nowhere else to be found, unless you want to download illegal items.
DAZ3D is kind of primitive when physics are involved. I'd say intentionally so; so that you need 10-20 products just to get some sort of "workflow" going. Its all a massive chore, so the more overpriced products you buy, the quicker you can make a scene.

I did not receive my order in my daz connect, lost 40 dollars on it. But need hair for my render, so trying again.
I did not receive my last order in my Daz connect account, so for some reason thought to try with different products, but probably wasted another $40. This is so hit and miss lately and the entire store does not display correctly in Safari. Install manager incredibly buggy.

DAZ *still* cannot process a Discover Card and only spits back an ambiguous "an error occured". Since both DAZ & Discover HQ are in SLC UT, why doesn't someone sort this out face-to-face?

Y'all got to do something about getting nVidia iRay to run more efficiently on Daz3D... It's crazy how resource hungry it gets, and when it doesn't have enough graphics memory (which is extremely expensive btw); it then defaults over to using the CPU (which is not nearly as efficient as processing ray-tracing as the GPU). Can we please put more pressure on nVidea and working with them to improve iRay functionality in Daz3D for those of us who don't have like 24 GB of DDR5 graphics card memory?!

The program is free and they have offered many other sister-programs for free, since I have been with them. To date, I have over 1875 "free items", in my collection, directly from Daz3D, in the store. There is another couple thousand items that I have gotten online, legally, for free, from other sources. Daz3D opens them and renders them fine.
Honestly, no other program I have ever used for rendering has been this easy to use and looked this great and realistic, out of the box. For "paid content", it is top of the line stuff that is available, right along items that are just a few notches above the bottom line. The number of professional items is growing fast, quickly pushing out all the older content.
However, don't let the high prices fool you. That is like looking at a cars sticker price. Few actually pay that price. Most things in the Daz store often go on sale for 40-80% off. More often if you are a platinum member. However, to date, using only the free items, I have already done so much. (You honestly only need a hand-full of paid items to have millions of decent variations available to you, with little effort. With the free items, you have the same amount of variation too, but a little less control with the morphs and skins.)
Yes, this can be used for schools, offices or just for fun, as a hobby, without spending a penny. It can even be used professionally, to make renderings that will make you look like an actual professional, even when you are not. (I know, I do it all the time.)
Just be patient if things don't go as planned and take a moment to ask for help, as clearly and calmly and as civil as possible. You WILL get fast responses and solutions, to most issues in the live forums. (The help tickets are more for alerting them of technical issues with the software, not for one-on-one personal help with "learning curves".)
Tip for consumers:
Don't depend ONLY on Daz3D for Daz resources. Most 3D sites have items available for free and cheaper, and with less restrictions, than can be found within Daz3D's website.

All the free items and many group bundles, when they were on deep discount. Whatever was needed to get the most from the software, at the time.

You make it fairly easy, but you should lose the artificial pricing. That whole schtick of everything being discounted is disingenuous.
I have a huge investment in Daz3D. I like new and feature rich products.
