No complaints. I would like more categories at top navigation level. The listing facets are fine but cumbersome. For example, if I think there should be a category for your premiere product, Genesis 8.
Daz3d is a $#*!ty program that freezes up my computer. Avoid it. There are better programs out there.
I cannot find how to activate the 2 separate dragonfly characters. They either do not appear in the scene, or if a figure is selected then they morph onto the figure's body. The Group of Dragonflies works great.
Free product while I am learning 3D Animation
It was a choice for the Free Christmas Gift
Absolute garbage of a corporation. It is hell trying to log in after signing up because you cannot log in and download their products. Utter rubbish, which will only ruin your day trying to use their products! Zero customer support!
I have a hard time learning because my disability, and lack off money also equipment, but because off programs like this one and free things. I can learn in time. Thank all of you for the support. Love the Owens.
In my case im disable to work also im 60+ in age and trying to learn something that love, so in the very close future i can make peeps smile a little and make a living at the same time! Thank you all love the Owens
Though your products are good the website is a mess on mobile as well as pc. The cart is intrusive and requires manual closing before you can add another item. On mobile the margin between items ans the sides squishes them to a point where the description only fits one or two words per row and ens up being a mile long.
Everything is fine, if I'd improve something I'd like to improve usability instead of selling Add-ons which add usability functions. As example content bookmarks.
On page:
It is sometimes very difficult to figure which discounts apply to which product and how much and why or why not.
As example now we have 50% items, plus loyality discount 20% would be 70%, but stops at 60,61 or 65%
General choice of posing app
Vendor with High quality, individual products
Great asset store with a huge range of very high quality content. I wish there were more/more granular search options, sorting, and filters that would make it easier to search for base characters, as well as morphs, hair, clothes, etc. for specific base characters.
Excellent 3D content, great prices.
Using assets for 3D Art.
I am always looking for good deals and models. What I don't like is that you changed your price matching. It's not right that someone who buys an item and the next day it is a lower price. For over 20 years you have honored the difference and now why would anyone want to pay a full price when it could go on sale the following day. At least stores show upcoming sale prices before the sale date and still honor the difference.
Your products work alot better with daz then other models that say they do
All the generational stuff is chaotic. It seems to me that the conversion process could be done once by Daz, and not make customers shell out for lots and lots of apps to make conversions.
The smart content system doesn't work very well with older items, including V4.2, for whom it doesn't work at all. I think there's a bug there somewhere.
Dealing with metadata is confusing.
I tried to choose more products but microsoft's shopping/coupon system told me there was a 'More for 50' coupon, and when I applied the message was that the code is invalid. I would appreciate some feedback on whether coupons of that nature are valid or if there is some glitch preventing their use.
Charging a interactive fee for every piece of cloth. Hair, building etc Is a horrible business practice and why from a developer standpoint I was forced to move to RealIllusion cause they do not charge interactive fees.
It was free with no interactive fee.
It was free with NO interactive fee.
If only you didnt had "interactive fees" for everything. Also while some of the products are advertised as working for Unity it doesnt. For photos or comics it may be fine but for Games we need one less interactive fees for everything and more quality clothes and hair. Oh my hair. Hair should be a part of the model or if they are going to make it customizable(which is fine) they really need to test it on everything.
Also the hair types should be included in their description. Because some of this assets will be used in games.
The quality of some of the products is great but you need to make more quality products and dont promote ideologies.
Cause it was free?
Mine has been a love/hate relationship with Daz and the technical support, sales, and even integrity--I have many purchases that did not work, and still do not work. I have had to ask for tech support from my wife who his a tech specialist, while I wait literally months for support, I have lost money--my own integrity was questioned at a time where money was taken from my account, and even when I showed my bank-statement, my integrity was still in question... and that was the experiences I hated. The other side of the coin is that when products do work, I am excited and grateful. I thought about being an artist for Daz, but then I decided that I likely don't have the mettle, based on the mistreatment from staff.
I felt that I could use them to help with creating my own world of imagination; like all the products I bought.
I mostly like the shopping experience, but I sometime finds that the different rebates and offers are confusing. It would be great if the size (the number of Mb or Gb) was indicated in the product description to give the potential customer and idea of how much computing resources will be needed to render the product.
It is the best place for 3D content.
Realism, variety and the possibility of adjusting the different hairstyles to better fit different characters.
I'm loving the Daz Marketplace, but I wish there was some sort of alert system to let us know when items on our wishlist went on sale, or how long sales were lasting. I'm creating a graphic novel on a limited budget and need to buy stuff only when needed as I tell the story, and I just missed a couple items so now I have to wait. Bummer.
The sale prices.
The store is easy to use, and Daz Central is great for downloading. I really enjoy Daz Studio 4.20, coming from being a Poser user from 5 through 11. It seemed clunky and unintuitive at first, but once you get used to the interface, it is much more powerful, and advanced over what I was using.
Thanks
Dan.
I want a base of materials to use until I get back into creating my own.
Made an order just now - Item ******* for 3.67 and Item ******* for 13.99. Your invoice total before the -25% Extra 25% off code was 39.93 for the two items... last I looked 3.67 +13.99 = 17.66. And, looking at your banner I was expecting 25% more off one of these items... but that is not what happened.
Building up my item list
Hey, as of my last posing Steve Spencer of Daz has worked hard to implement measures to assist with customer service and forum moderation. Here's to hoping it helps us move in the right step towards better customer to company communication.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukah, Kwanza and all the beautiful things we celebrate this year. One love.
I'm pleased to report that Alicia and I traded emails shortly after this issue arose. The software fix she was looking for was made available within a week (not to promise that all software fixes have that kind of turnaround time), and things are very good. Alicia expressed her thanks, and stated (I hope you don't mind me quoting this here Alicia, I'm happy to pull it down if you do) "And honestly--DAZ has the best products bar none."
My only issue with the store is the search function still isn't great. It takes a number of searches to get the right content. Most of the times it seems I find what I want by luck. Other than that the process is smooth and easy to use.
I've been a PC Daz+ Member since like 2006 and was always able to update my subscription with sales that occurred several times a year. For the first time my subscription just lapsed because there hasn't been a sale all year! Please do a Daz+ sale! Thank you.
Just got freebies so I could get this questionnaire to request a Daz+ membership sale as there hasn’t been one all year and for the first time in over 15 years, my membership lapsed because I’m still waiting for a sale.
When I did a search for Library everything BUT libraries showed up even when I chose structures and props. Clothes, cats, characters, everything except libraries.
Been a member for decades but I see problems getting worse and worse. Used to buy bundles at intro now deals are so bad I never buy them at intro or at all. Used to get lots of freebies & great deals with bundles, now just a discount. DAZ used to be great back in the day but it just seems more of a money grab and bad marketing experiments now and I hate the “Don’t Miss Out!” buttons because, as we know, there’s always another sale, although they are not as good as they used to be so I purchase a lot less. I used to often have carts way over $100 but now it’s maybe $10 every once in a while. My purchasing has gone WAY down with the bad sales and tacky marketing. It’s OK, I have enough content to last until I die if I used all of it.
Seems like too much focus on NFTs too. Maybe lost track of who the shoppers really are.
Because they were free or 70% off or more.
Placing my order was difficult. I had to try several times to submit it - every time I clicked Submit the screen flickered and went thru the entire setup routine again. I was paying with store credit, so there was no issue with payment - you already have my money.
I lost access to all my assets, over $1000 dollars down the drain, I simply wanted access to my bought assets or a refund, 10 months has now passed, tried other modes of communication with no success. I get the message, I do not matter as a customer.
I needed clothing for a male figure (8.1)
Tip for consumers:
this was depressing and a harmful experiance

many
Most of the freebies are useless, either they are textures for products you don't have, or they are SCI-FI elements that don't fit most projects. IF you want to encourage people to start using DAZ more, you should work a bit on having a better entry-level system and help those that start new projects, they would end up spending more if their projects were successful than they will spend just to grab the missing item for certain textures they won't use. Just taking a wild guess here and say that most people, probably use daz for renders because their hardware can't handle animations or because they use renders in visual novels. I also use Blender and having more available options there in terms of freebies made me invest more time into it and that led to me invest more money as well to continue and build up on my existing project.
I was bored, wanted to see what's new on daz.
Only because they were free, I will not use them nor will they be of any help to me, just got them for the sake of having something in the list.
Products were not charged properly, taken away from me and, I was not able to get them back. The problem was not on my end, the problem was your billing system. I will not shop here as I have in the passed until I am sure I'm dealing with a customer friendly store.
Price, and a needed item.
I'm happy to see that we're getting some very good flash sales now again, at decent times (for Europeans as well) and with PA products instead of just DAZ Originals. That's great, keep going that way! - Very unhappy, on the other hand, about the new 2ß% introductory discount.
I‘m not happy about the way most of the really good flash sales have been shifted to times that are in the middle of the night for European customers. Please do keep us in mind also, thanks!
I went looking for specific items and it took me a while to find them. The search feature needs help. Especially if you are only look for clothes or male models. Also, if there were dates when uploaded. Some of the environment items I would like to purchase appear to be made for older daz models (I haven't even been using daz for a year yet.) It would be extremely helpful to know how old certain items are.
Was playing a VN and wanted to make some fan art for it.
This is not referring to this special order but is to be seen as a general "critic" There are many products on DAZ3D that seem to be very useful, but often creators spend only little time in explaining how to use them. It was often i have seen the usage of products being discussed in the forums and if it would be worth buying them. I ask myself how can they even be sold when people have to ask that question? Seems there were other users also that experienced such poorly explained products. There sure are explanations but the creators should elaborate them much better. Mostly they are only explaining what the features do but not how to get them to do it - if that makes sense. I think you as DAZ3D should push creators to make an effort that also users that are no pro's in using DAZ will understand it. That will benefit you in the end as well, because how it is now it makes you hesitate to buy an item when it even just seems like you would need an explanation in how to use it.
DAZ3D is my main source for 3D items
I have them on my radar since a while and today i was able to get them with a discount
It is very unituative - for example you select Genesis 8 (buy for free) and then what? It appears nowhere - there is no way to download it or install it - I thought the idea of Daz vs Poser was this was supposed to be an easy streamlined process...
Nothing - I'm simply trying it out - and already it has been painful.

I cannot tell you how sorry I am to hear that this was your experience. Unfortunately, I have to admit that the number of new customers, and as such the support ticket numbers, has skyrocketed during the pandemic. The amount of time for us to respond to technical tickets for issues has definitely gone beyond a point that I would be happy with if I were a customer as well. I cannot make excuses for this, and I know that my apology does not give you back the time you spent frustrated. We have added several additional members to that team, and are working through the backlog. I hope that in a month or so when things are back to "normal" you'll give us another chance. If not, I fully understand and again, truly do sympathize and apologize.
