I am in love with Dell, and everything that Big Mike touches. It would be very hard for me to say anything negative about their website. The only thing I can advice is that they give it a more store-like format, and less of a PR medium. Other than that, it's all good.
I called to get information on where to access an invitation for friends/family which was super confusing, to begin with. The Dell employees are terrible at their job and do their best to try to confuse and obfuscate the correct answer. They were quick to point out that my computer was purchased two years ago. Don't they realize we have other options? Very poor management team who allows this bad service to go on. Just look at all the one star reviews.
Just wanted to inform you, your latest commercial is offensive. The whistling reminds people of sexual abuse.

If you are going to buy trustworthy product then dell one of the best. Screen, design i really loved it.
Love dell products! The best equipment I have bought and never had any problems with my computers lasting a while!
My favorite device. Use it nearly 10 years and haven't had any serious issues. Thinking about getting some latest model.
Bought a Dell 3252 small desktop computer. Used it two days. Returned it. It was very slow to load websites and the content, surprising as the specs place it a notch above my old Dell Vostro 400.
Had a screen display problem starting on day two. The opening page oriented to left obscuring the left back arrow and most of the word New. Spent 4 hours with two Dell "techs." Indian dudes who wasted my time. They really didn't know anything. The first one spoke very broken English. His "fixes," as I watched him navigate the computer were random. He had no plan or clue.
The second guy spoke more fluent English and sounded like he might know more than the first. He insisted a full system restore was needed. Since I have no knowledge about computers I went along. There went another 30 minutes doing the restore. He was surprised it took that long. Didn't fix the screen display issue. I ditched him.
My wife said she might be able to fix it. She has not computer training but spent enough time dealing with little problems that she wanted to give it a go. She fixed it in 5 about mins! So long Dell!
I understand defective products can happen, fair enough. Dell's poor training of tech support people goes to show their profit motive over customer care. US based tech's would clearly cost more than Indian staff. Wages in India are about 1/10th of US.
I still had my old Dell Vostro 400. Although before unhooking it I ran a downloaded disc erasing program so didn't know if it would work. Well the hard disc wiper program did not work! I put it back into service! It is fast! Can't get MS or Google updates but who cares! For what little I need it works fine. Shifted to Mozilla as Google Chrome won't allow flash drive updates.
Too bad all this happened because there are few choices for desktops under $500. Ca't go back to Dell though. Buyer beware.
When the old one dies I won't replace with Dell. Don't care for new Windows 10 either. Just another way to get $ from consumer.
I've been lied to, hung up on, redirected from customer care to technical support and back and forth for the same issue because nobody know how to do their job. I paid $4,000 for a pc that works worse than a generation one Xbox. Yet I received a remanufactured replacement, THAT CAME WITH PHYSICAL DEFECTS AND THE SAME PROBLEM AS THE ORIGINAL ONE! So 6 months later after hundreds of calls and being told that there is no manager or supervisor! I finally got a hold of a supervisor. He made it sound like he was doing ME A FAVOR for replacing the 2nd! System and getting me a new one! When I am out of $4,000 barely able to functionally work at home and can't relax or unwind by playing a few games after a long day. I am beyond upset and have been taken advantage of I would never recommend Dell to anybody. The entire experience from ordering the pc to now has been awful! They didn't offer any compensation for me not having a working pc. No matter how many times I explained the situation nobody did anything to apologize or help. Do NOT ORDER FROM DELL! You will regret it for 6months+ when Al l they do is create more problems and treat you like crap once they get your money!
Tip for consumers:
Do not order here.

I have a Dell notebook computer, Inspiron 7300 2 in 1 model that is under their 'warranty'. It developed an issue with the screen - there are horizontal lines and flickering 'ghosting' on the screen. I called techinical support, the first time a man instructed me to run some diagnostics, then I hear, 'beep, beep, beep" on my Iphone - it is the sound that happens when a disconnection is with the party I am talking with, not with an issue on my end. The second call, another service asks for a picture of my screen and sends me an email so I can reply with a picture, she also takes my cell phone number. This rep starts with a different diagnostic procedure than the first one - nothing shows up. I ask what can be done to resolve my issue, then I am told that I don't have coverage for 'accidental damage' and then hear, 'beep, beep, beep". I email a few times to her, and no acknowledgment of my emails, no phone call from her - and NO this is not from accidental damage, this was working great, was left on and when returning to it, untouched by anyone, it has the defective screen. Only buy Dell if you understand that there is NO customer service and no warranty. I ordered another notebook, same model, thinking that I would keep the new one, get the defective one repaired under warranty and give it to a friend who needs a computer. I will return the one coming and buy a different brand of notebook. They just tie you up with time consuming, tiresome procedures and then bail out. You will get exhausted trying to get your issue resolved and will just give up - and they will do nothing but occupy your time long enough to let it be known that you will NEVER get your issue resolved.
Tip for consumers:
Do not buy a Dell computer unless you understand that they will not honor their warranty, if an issue develops, you will just be sucked into time wasting techniques that result in nothing, except frustration and loss of time. Dell does not have customer service, they are specialists in making you give up the pursuit of repair under their 'warranty'. A 'warranty' that they offer to sell you and extension on, yep, pay for the ability to use your time running diagnostics they instruct you to run.

I am an IT professional, so get to see computers at their best and worst. Dell has moved to pure junk in my opinion. This review is based on the last 2 Dell computers I purchased, as well as the last few experiences I've had with Dell at customer sites.
First, the Inspiron 2-in-1 I purchased as a gift for my son. About 1 month after the warranty expired, his computer developed an issue that prevents it from booting (won't get through post process). After running diags, I determined it has bad memory. No problem -- at least that's what I thought. Dell soldered the memory onto the motherboard! So again, the only way to fix the issue is replace the whole motherboard!
Second is an older Dell laptop I have. It started behaving erratically about 3 years after I purchased it, sometimes booting fine, somtimes not. Sometimes touch screen working, sometimes not. We kept using it as a "play" computer around the house. Recently, it decided to just quit charging. Plug in the cord and it starts to charge for about 10 seconds, then switches to running on battery. Unplug, re-plug and it does the same thing.
Now for the last few customers I worked with who standardized on Dell. The worst was a small customer who had so many issues with their Dell's that they returned all of them. We were a Dell authorized reseller, but ended up having to eat the cost ourselves because Dell would not accept the returns -- even with all of the documented issues the customer was having. Dell was so hard to work with, the customer was unwilling to even try a different Dell model and said "Dell, never again".
Another customer, who had been very happy with Dell for several years, started an upgrade process. Of course they got the new Dell models to replace their ageing systems. They had high incidence of failures and support issues with the new computers, showing the huge quality difference between the older generation computers and the new generation computers.
Bottom line, Dell is junk now. I won't be purchasing another one for myself -- and I definitely won't be recommending Dell to my customers.

I bought Dell inspiron 15 7000 Gaming, but after 2 months my mousepad stoped working I took it to the Service centre and gave them my laptop but again after 15 days i am facing the same problem.
Recently purchased dell inspiron. A very good laptop with a good configuration. And price is also genuine.
I bought a dell inspirion 2in1 FHD laptop, 16 inch, brand new. Initially got a quote from Dell that included the laptop, MacAfee protection, office home and student 2021 & their really expensive customer service. By the time I got back to them, prices had increased. Fair enough, so I didn't buy. Then the same sales rep. From - contact center India, called me back telling me they will sell me the computer on the previous quote. I was happy, but I was kind of suspicious, but he assured me all is okay. In the invoice, I got from them after the purchase, the home and office was listed as installed, but no price was mentioned. The sales rep I talked to who had given the quote, did not send the price breakdown, just the total amount with this office version included as well. I was fine, as long as it is listed as included and the total price is what was quoted to me with this office suite included. So, I get the laptop without the Office installed & Customer support spends an hour on my computer and still can't install office! They have a thing called the digital locker where all your software details are stored. Even there, there was no Product key. Dell blamed Microsoft that their digital orders are an issue with some computers. Well, then Dell should have checked that it was installed on my laptop or ensured that the product key was on the digital locker. They tell me to give them 24-48 hours to check on this, resolve this issue, and install office. Really? This coming from a computer company? I mean how long does it take to install office once you buy it? If I bought Office online right now, it would take me few minutes to install it with their product key. I realized this was going to be a vicious circle. I decided to return this new laptop. Who knows what more issues I'll have to face. I mean I was ready to start working on my new laptop considering office was installed. I have returned teh laptop, they sent me the return label and everything for FedEx. Now let's wait and see what happens. I will only have satisfaction once all my money is refunded. I don't trust them after what happened and after reading all the reviews here.
Tip for consumers:
Don't buy from Dell directly.

When i first bought dell inspiron it was working well for like a month. Then my mic stopped working computer became really slow and my battery only lasted for like an hour. I reached out to dell and they came to my house and changed literally almost every part and it did not solved anything. They made me reformart(reset) my computer like 5 times too. Didnt solve anything. Made me install all the updates after reformating like 5 times wasting like a month before they replaced my computer. After that the new computer was much worse than this. My mic still didnt work computer was slow even the battery stilll drained fast. After a month about servicing ad begging them to change my computer they gave me another computer. I hoped this computer would be good. Battery lasts for like an hour still mic works on and off and i cant download any games cause if i download the whole computer jus crashes. And now when i connect my bluetooth it disconnects after a while on its own. Even after reaching out to dell they troubleshooted for like a week and couldnt fix the problem.
If anyone is thinking about buying dell, dear godd please please DONTT.
They provide really a nice production. My laptop has been working more then 7 years and is still alive haha
Honestly, i consider their products to be best ever! Perfect material, reliable construction, perfectly fonctional
Their products has been amazing and I'm using them for more than 5 yeas and happy with the customer by the Dell Group.
I would recommend no one in their right mind by a Dell Computer or and Alienware from Dell Technologies.
I do understand that parts are hard to come by. Here is the story; I place an order on the 19th of the January for a delivery of February 3rd. On the morning of the 3rd I get an email from them saying it wont be completed until the 17th of February delivery upon the 19th. So I call them and cancel on the 3rd of February. At approximately two hours from that phone conversation, I get another email saying it is shipped.
Now in between I found a PC company that will not take a month to get it to you let alone send b. S. emails and talk in one mouth and out another when it comes time to deliver or build it. So I purchased the competitors PC.
Now I have to call Dell Technologies back or talk on the internet to them about said and cancel again I did on the 3rd for the 3rd time. They said they had to do a recall and before I let them go they said they had done this.
Today February 7th I get the Alienware computer that I cancelled. I have to return it now and had to call again.
As I have complained to them before they really need to work on internal communications and communications to the customer. They have lost all my confidence and I will not purchase from them again. Maybe they should have just given me the computer. Or maybe because the delivery was left on porch I could have said I never received it. But no I was honest. Which is what I think Dell Technologies is not honest. I also do not see how you can not get it done via email and then it ships. Was it even put together correctly. Do not trust them.

The WORST customer service and the salesmen lie. Their products are good, but you will HATE having to work with this company long term. Their current fees for support are $170 1 year warranty or $130 one time.
I purchased an inspiron 15 7000 gaming system with an nvidia GTX 1050Ti. This is a very nice computer. I also bought the 1 year extended customer service warranty. This was a new laptop.
I should have known that Dell was going to be an ethically questionable company when I first ordered from it. I ordered a laptop with 32GB of RAM. My sales reciept went through and it was in process for about a week. Then, I was told the order was canceled because Dell doesn't make this model anymore. This was AFTER I bought the laptop. I told a friend would works in IT about this. He said that they probablly cancelled it because RAM prices shot up. It was too expensive for them to make the computer you bought. So, they just backed out of an order they sold. Not very ethical.
Second, after my year warranty expired, I have had a few computer issues. I even bought Dell's compatable docking station D3100. I plug in 2 external monitors through this docking station. Now, the docking station doesn't work correctly.
When I've called to just get some basic help, I'm pushed directly into purchasing a warranty. Dell doesn't veiw me as a customer. They very me as someone to exploit for profit.
BE CAREFUL BUYING FROM DELL! It's like their products are only set to work for about a year before they start having problems. I will not buy another Dell computer again.
Their pc is high quality it has been a year now but my dell laptop is still in good condition. I LOVE DELL!
A few months ago my Dell G3 laptop began just "stopping." No BSOD. No error message. Just dead. So I contacted Dell tech support, who had me "update" my BIOS (to the same BIOS that was already installed). That seemed to work for a couple of weeks, the the G3 began stopping again. So again I contacted Dell tech support. They recommended a factory reset using their SupportAssist OS Recovery tool, which I did. The Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery tool asked if I wanted to backup my data before reformatting the hard drive, which I did, following their process. After a couple hours, my data was supposedly backed up, and the factory reset began, which also took about an hour. After the factory reset, the SupportAssist OS Recovery tool did not ask about restoring my data, as the Dell procedure claimed it would, so I contacted Dell tech support. The tech "took over" my G3 laptop and found my backed up data, but was unable to restore it. After a week of back-and-forth with Dell tech support, they "elevated" my case to a "level 3" whatever that is. To me, it was just double-talk to stall for time because another 2 weeks passed without my data being restored. At this point, Dell tech support was not even answering my emails or replying to my chats. So I contacted the Better Business Bureau and explained the situation. Long story short, after a few weeks of back-and-forth with Dell via the BBB, Dell's answer was that is was my fault the data could not be restored and that they were not in any way responsible. The BBB, which turns out to be powerless, closed my case as being unresolved. So here I am with a G3 laptop that I don't even know if Dell actually fixed the stopping problem, and all my data is gone. And for this I paid an extra $499 for premium tech support.
I have been using Dell laptop since five years now and it's still working very smooth. Higly reccomended to all.
I has purchased inspiring 14 model 5410 on 3rd July eve from Kandiali west dell exlcusice store sale person Hamid. As per him battery power is upto 8 hrs. While using laptop I realires battry was draining too fast. Connected with dell technical team they resolved the issue to certain extent but after day fully charged laptop used to drain by just reading word documents and few recorded videos with low hd format within 3 hrs. As per techical team there must be software issue. Which no one resolved... i have not even dowladed single app. Now I am asking to kindly replace it. But now as per company policy not possible. As per sale Person he said if you attend zoom meeting & watch YouTube videos battry will work only for three hours. Although I have not used laptop for above use. After spend *******/-you get answer sorry we can't help you in this case... I want to inform prospectve buyers as well as dell co. That specialy in pandamic people use max. Meeting apps. Then why your sales person doesn't inform that while making purchase.? If I would have knowledge about same I would have purchased it... To connect at customer service is time consuming and big headache. Almost spent 5 hrs. In two days. Even after that your problem doesn't resolve. Wanted exchange feeling their might be problem in pcs. But as per co they can't help as it was as customer I am fool to trust the company and sales person... # felt cheated#highly disappointed... Although this is 3rd dell laptop from dell in past 5 years... But will never ever going to purchase dell again...
