I am in love with Dell, and everything that Big Mike touches. It would be very hard for me to say anything negative about their website. The only thing I can advice is that they give it a more store-like format, and less of a PR medium. Other than that, it's all good.

I called to get information on where to access an invitation for friends/family which was super confusing, to begin with. The Dell employees are terrible at their job and do their best to try to confuse and obfuscate the correct answer. They were quick to point out that my computer was purchased two years ago. Don't they realize we have other options? Very poor management team who allows this bad service to go on. Just look at all the one star reviews.

This year and a few years ago I have discovered that when I was helped by chat on dell.com that an order that was being held for me was not in fact what I had ordered. While the price was the same several of the items we had agreed upon were no longer part of the package. If you still use Dell.com go over everything very carefully and be prepared have a hassle and to wait if you want the great deal you had thought you had arranged. To experience this twice doesn't seem random.

Bought the computer, it worked well for a few months. Then the fans started revving. I learned that they give you a power supply unit that cant supply the power needed to actually run all the fans proper and keep the system cool. My motherboard fries, GPU burns out. I am stuck paying for a $1500 laptop that doesn't work. Cause the warranty only goes for a year unless you cough up another $700. I wont do that, because a computer that can burnout is an issue and I would still be replacing a laptop every year cause the product sucks. Clearly they don't know how to build proper system, or they do and are just trying to gouge you for money. Dell and Alienware are a bad company, and their products are complete garbage. If you buy Alienware or Dell, you will be disappointed. Wish you could give lower than a one star. All these four and five star reviews are clearly not real, look at any other site.

The product is good but customer service stinks. Try calling for help and you'll get India that will refuse to give you an American agent. Then they try to sell you additional customer support. I have a $1500 Dell and cannot get America to help me so I'm going with Apple.

Wrong specification delivered and reported immediately, and now more than a week later and numerous phone calls and chats and four e-mails, not even the courtesy of a response other than ''it has been escalated to marketing''!
Appalling service. Don't buy from these cowboys

I love Dell. Their support systems are brilliant and their Customer services excel. My first laptop lasted six years with no problems whatsoever. I let someone else use it and unfortunately they messed it up. Otherwise I think I'd still be using it today.

I bought very expensive laptop from Dell, Alienware 17.
If they will not change the way how they sell their products, Dell will go down soon or later. Their sales department should be fired tomorrow, all of them. Otherwise very good brand.

If Dell would sell cars, they will sell you winter tyres during the summer. Do you want roof window? Ok, you can have it, but only if you buy sunglasses. Thats how Dell works.

I am beyond furious with my Dell computer. This thing is an absolute nightmare. I have lost count of how many times I have had to call a technician to come and fix it, and it seems like every time, a new problem arises. The fact that I have to constantly shell out money for repairs is outrageous.

But that's not even the worst part. The customer service at Dell is a complete joke. Every time I reached out for help with my computer, they completely ignored my problems and offered no real solutions. It's like they don't even care about their customers.

I have wasted countless hours on the phone with Dell customer service, and I have gotten absolutely nowhere. They are unhelpful, rude, and dismissive. It's like they want me to just give up and buy a new computer.

I bought a vostro 3910 about 2 months ago to replace a 12 y.o. HP that's been slowing down and have regretted it ever since. The Dell PC keeps randomly freezing up and I have to do a hard reset to un-freeze it. I called tech support who did a firmware update which didn't fix the problem. I called tech support again and after spending about 45 minutes with someone from India, who I was barely able to understand, it was decided to send out a field tech to replace the mother board which accomplished nothing since it still freezes up. After researching the problem online I found that a lot of people have this problem and Dell is aware of it Their lame solution is to restart the PC frequently. I shut it down every night and all day while I'm at work and still have the problem. So $750 later I'm stuck with this POS!

Bought a new laptop and it came with a bad battery that did not charge. I contacted customer service to get unit replaced, the process is still ongoing, terrible exeperice, first and last time Dell customer. They are the worst to deal with. I tried to leave a review on their website but they won't publish it... so scummy.

Not to go into too much detail but I've been buying Dell's for 20 years. I've worked on many different brands of computer both from a user standpoint and a repair standpoint.

I can only say, that when it's time to buy a new one, I buy a Dell. When someone asks me for a recommendation, I recommend Dell. I've never had major trouble with anything. From tech support to quality.

I bought a monitor, and the sale assistant sent me the wrong item, so I have to return it and re-order the correct one. After that, it has been a problem with no solution. I make payments for my monitor, but they still have the other returned into my account as a debt, I have been looking for help to refund or remove it from my account, but nobody has helped me. I have made so many calls and chats, but the only department you can talk to is sales, so they only want to sell their products but ignore the customers after buying them. Now they are making me pay for something I don't have, saying that they will send me to a collection even if I return, and also, I have the FedEx email confirmation. Once again, they only want my payment, but nobody has responded to my problem. I don't recommend this company to anybody.

Tip for consumers:
I'm still waiting for DELL to release- refund, or remove it from my account.

Dell computers. What can I say? They are HORRIBLE terrible equipment, really bad customer service, inept technicians, need I go on? Best quality? They have none. They know how to say "not my job" and pass you along where you sit on hold for over half-an-hour to be passed along to someone else who will not help you but pass you along to another person AND you get to explain the situation for the umpteenth time. Well, that is to say, this is the sort of service you get for personal/ home computers, I cannot give comment on the business computer side.

I've had my dell laptop for over a year now and It works well for me. The only issue I have is their tech support. I've called them twice already regarding issues with my screen and they have failed to resolve it both times. They are not reliable nor competent in my opinion. I wish they would improve in the department.

For me dell is the best pc. For about 4 years I had no problems with it. It works perfect and runs very fast. I'm planning to get better pc for complicated multimedia stuff, and dell definitely will be choice number 1.

Great website. I was able to customize and order my laptop just as I needed it. I have heard terrible things about their customer service and support, but have not used them first hand, so this point is not reflected in my rating.

I was promised 2 day deliver for my Dell monitor which I ordered on 9/7. It is now 9/19 and my order has been delayed 3 times. The latest estimate for delivery is 9/22, but I do not believe that date either. What is worse is that they will not allow me to cancel the order. Hope this helps someone not to experience the frustration I have had with Dell.

Bought a laptop a few weeks ago and it has a wifi 6 network card 201.11ax the reason I bought it so I can take advantage of my wifi 6 network the laptop will not recognize the 6 network I called tech support he actually tried to fix it he said it was my router contacted my internet provider they did a diagnostic and said my internet is fine the 6 is running called Dell tech again this guy did nothing but refer me to the next level tech support for a 99 dollar fee I paid the money called the next level tech who did absolutely nothing but send me an email saying my network card doesn't support wifi 6 I said to him are you out of your mind any idiot knows that 201.11ax is a wifi 6 card he actually tried to brush me off with a lie like I can't google a network cards capability

I realize a lot of people use smart phones and other wireless devices but I think PC's are better for productivity, a great visual experience, you can watch all region DVDs without needing an all region device such as a PAL player and the keyboards make life very easy, particularly for older people. The list goes on and on. So Dell provides very good products and very good 24/7 tech support. I would give it a 5 star if Tech Support was tweaked a bit better. They're also fair with product returns.

I'v had good and terrible experiences with Dell. Every purchase is a crap shoot, although I have only had dell laptops fro the past 10 years. I like their products but shipping and delivery is way too slow. Its a great site with awesome customization ability. But customer service lacks a bit.

I bought a computer and a couple days later it went on sale. It says there is a price guarantee so I called in. I was bounced around between the chat, email and phone including several transfers. Then they gave me false information stating it was for a different computer (which was false), finally they agreed to give a partial adjustment and it was not worth the stress of arguing and wasting more time so said okay even thought it should have been more money. They said it would post in 7-10 days and it did not. I emailed back 3 times with no response, then tried the chat and was directed to call in and am now on hold again! I think they are trying to just give me a run around so I finally give up. I will not buy from Dell again.

Tip for consumers:
If possible just buy a different computer if you have to talk to customer service make sure it is worth your time. Now I am told that there is a backlog so that is why I am not getting a refund. It is a nightmare, just a waste of time.

I made an order for three items from Dell over three months ago. One item arrived and the other two never appeared.

I have repeated emailed, chatted and called Dell (running up international call charges) and Dell to no effect. I have wasted many hours and dollars and Dell still have my money and I don't have my product!

I have been repeatedly told that they will resolve the situation, send my products, escalate the situation, get back to me etc etc. They never do. After all these broken promises I eventually asked them to cancel the order, repeatedly and in desperation I ordered the items elsewhere. They haven't cancelled the order and they haven't returned my money.

DO NOT order anything from DELL! They are a terrible company! You risk losing your money!

Given this ongoing experience I now see the only solution is to publicize my experience as widely as possible on the internet. Maybe I can shame them into returning my money!

By far the worst purchase experience I have ever had has now been facilitated by Dell computers. We purchased a brand new Inspirion 3020 that when it arrived would not boot and immediately threw an error code through the indicator light. There is nothing I would despise more than having to contact Dell again. It has been two weeks and we still have 0 resolution. You get passed back and forth between their foreign call centers of customer support and Technical support. I was hung up on twice during this process. Their support site says "We're here to help" IT'S A LIE! How is it the right process to request that the recipient of a brand new computer would be required to troubleshoot it? They even told us we needed to swap the memory card. After telling them no, they gave us a window for a tech to come out from 8 am - 4 pm, and guess what, they didn't show! So now we sit here with a "NEW" paperweight. There are many options, DO NOT BUY DELL. They do not value you as a customer. They are focused on transactional sales and not a loyal customer base. I will purchase HP, Acer, Asus, Apple, Samsung, Google, or other machines before ever going to Dell again. We will be filing a chargeback a this point. What a waste of time an energy!

Tip for consumers:
Just avoid them altogether. There are many options for computing. Don't give business to a company that doesn't value you as their customer.

A high end Dell $2000 kept in pristine condition, always monitored failed after less than 2 years. They will not do anything! It's outrageous. Reported them to the BBB. Charged $500 for a repair that made it worse. No refund!

They are the worse...Mike Rosenzweig once said:
I once had lunch with a Dell IT Engineer, and he explained that the reason why Dells are so unreliable and suffer numerous breakdowns is due to parts sourcing. They will source the cheapest parts in the market to build their computers to keep prices low. He recommended that anyone buying a dell to also buy extended warranties, since he guaranteed that you will need the extended warranty. He said the average dell has about an 8–10 month lifespan.

Needed a new hard drive installed new software but Dell computer blocked installation of WiFi driver no natter what I do. Tried to load old soft ware back on from recovery but wouldn't work. Tried to go back with new software now it want load stuck in Dell boot screen. I bought a Dell because I thought I could change hardware and not have issues I guess I was wrong they are just as bad as all the other company's. So I guess new hard drive is junk now thanks Dell you piece of $#*!.

Wow, Dell has really dropped the ball on my business order (#*******). First, a month delay, and now it's been cancelled with no explanation. Efforts to contact support have been like talking to a brick wall. I see no reason to do business with Dell again, and my IT Director agrees. This will be our first and last order, thanks to the terrible service we've received.
