I am in love with Dell, and everything that Big Mike touches. It would be very hard for me to say anything negative about their website. The only thing I can advice is that they give it a more store-like format, and less of a PR medium. Other than that, it's all good.
I called to get information on where to access an invitation for friends/family which was super confusing, to begin with. The Dell employees are terrible at their job and do their best to try to confuse and obfuscate the correct answer. They were quick to point out that my computer was purchased two years ago. Don't they realize we have other options? Very poor management team who allows this bad service to go on. Just look at all the one star reviews.
Had my laptop for 11 months and it crashes every time I move it. I called support and a tech came out and replaced the mother board but in the process he locked me out of my computer. It is now in BitLocker Recovery but my computer can not be found so now I have to reset everything back to factory settings. I have lost a years worth of school work, games, etc. Make sure you link your computer to your Microsoft account. The techs don't know to tell you to do it before they screw things up and the reps on the phone do not speak very good English so you just get more irritated trying to communicate. Don't buy Dell.
Good customer service but hardware issues rises too much. I purchased dell inspiron last year in october and till now i have faced so many issues in my laptop even within the warranty period... everytime i need to call on customer care, they send their executive and the problem sorted out. But my main concern is that very soon warranty date is going to expire, and if the issues still persist... the dell will empty my pocket..
Dell is one of the best company or computer related products. I love to use dell laptops more than two year, it is still working properly. For me it is really efficient and better. I am very much happy with my dell laptop. It is extremely good one.
I can't express my feeling while giving a review regarding one of the best companies from my childhood. Dell was the first ever PC I've got on my birthday from my dad and trust me it was as smoothly working system on that time as it is now.
I ordered a tablet just after the holidays and the expected delivery date has passed, when I contact Purolator who was handling the shipping they told me they didn't even have the item. When I contact Dell, not only did I wait 2 hours to speak to someone, they refused to provide any details in regards to who ships from their facility to the Canadian boarder and couldn't even confirm the package had in fact shipped. The representative just kept saying to wait 24 hours and kept trying to give me a service number. This was the worst experience I've had with any major company
My computer was 4 years old had 80% space free and the hard drive crashed, buttons didn't work, the sound was so low you couldn't hear it. Had to buy a new battery after 2 years. Don't buy a Dell. Buy HP. They make good computers. Their computers are trash now.
On 8/3 I purchased an M17 laptop from the website. It stated free shipping within 48 hours. After a week I called and was told my order had been cancelled because they could not get the parts to build the laptop. It was to be replaced with an M18 and again sent out within 48 hours. It is now 8/18, no laptop and getting conflicting messages from call center. They have taken my money, lied, lied again, and now ignore my calls. Will not do business with Dell again.

Dell is an excellent computer company. They are trusted and well known. I like Dell laptops since they help you realize the order build your team according to user needs. The technical support is excellent and so on comes onto the market.
My laptop died and i needed a new one. I love dell products so I went to their web site. I found coupon code on their site but none of the coupon codes would work even though I had found them on their site that very day. Every time I tried to email them they sent my email to malaysia or someplace and I could not get an answer in English. I gave up and bought a computer at bestbuy.
They give you a runaround on their rebates. I used the online chat and phone call to confirm that I've given them the right documents they need, a couple of days after, they come back through email that it was incomplete, and asking again for a different paperwork(they are the ones that send the item, why wouldn't they know what they sent, if I provided them all the tracking no/item info/name and everything else? It's just a way for them to not pay your rebate... if that email goes to spam, or you don't open your email, then they made an extra buck. The phone line to call for rebates has an excuse that they are not the ones who has the requirements, so you cant complain to them. A cop out from the company, I would say. If they really want to serve the customer, they would do it on a better way... or, actually use technology. They're supposed to be a technology company, right?
They are absolutely useless. Their customer service reps will act as if they're helping but achieve absolutely nothing. From what I've heard from a close relative, their warranty process is a nightmare. I'd highly recommend that you look at on of their competitors as you'll be better off.
Dell products aren't the best, they're overpriced and their customer service reps (including the supervisors) are absolutely incompetent. What an easy job that must be. Answer text chats and do absolutely nothing.
Tip for consumers:
Save yourself the time and energy and shop elsewhere. Dell truly doesn’t care to help. Look at their reviews on any other website they have a consistent sub ⅖ stars.. but, on their website it’s ⅘+ stars which is alarming. Seems like they pick and choose only the raving reviews and leave out the actual real feedback.. not just those in the honeymoon stage of owning their products.

I bought a Dell Inspiron laptop a couple of years ago and it has served quite a long time. Recently though the video card gave out so I had to get it fixed. Its good for work or browsing the internet, but not exactly suited for gaming. Its 17 inches wide and it feels kinda huge so I would not recommend that.
Solid-state drive failed after two months. My repair was delayed by three weeks "due to unforeseen circumstances." When the part arrived, Dell switched out my failed 2 TB SSD for a 512 GB SSD. What a ripoff.
I bought an OmniPlex business computer online. The money was immediately taken from my account. I get an email saying the computer had been delivered. It wasn't. Then it shows it was sent back. There are NO agents who will answer a call if you call their sales phone number. There was no explanation. It has now been almost a month and I have no computer and no money. I would pay close attention to these reviews and not buy through Dell.
Ordered laptop. The shipping address is incorrect (wrong city & state). Dell says that I have to wait for it to be shipped to correct it AND I am the one who has to contact Dell. There are two things on my invoice that I don't want/I don't think that I ordered them. Dell says that they cannot be removed so I am stuck with paying for services that I don't want and don't need. Mind you, my laptop has not shipped so there is no way that I could have used these services. I am going to contact consumer bureaus as well as state and federal officials about this
My desktop is a Dell computer and I recently bought a laptop for my daughter. The customer service couldn't be more helpful: they went out of their way to accommodate the delivery to my daughter's friend's schedule (he was going to receive it and take it to her). Unfortunately, two days after she started to use it, it crashed (software issue). If she was here in the USA, they would have taken care of it in days. A trustworthy company. My next computer will be from them because even if I have a problem, they do fix it.
I ordered $1200 laptop but it never arrived at my place and every info was correct in my order. After 2 weeks they said we you have to wait for another week as your laptop is reverted from your current address location for some reason. Come on even if i place a new order it will take 3-4 days to deliver and they asking me to wait for a week for it. I said screw it and cancelled the order.
P. s got lenevo in 4 days
I have a Dell laptop. It repeatedly getting complaints. The recent problem is about its keyboard. Some keys are not working and not supporting the virtual keyboard. Worst customer service they have, not even responding
This is the second computer that I have bought from Dell online. My first one was a desktop which worked great but was outmoded (used floppy discs). It was still working fine, The Dell Inspiron laptop that I bought this year works great. Customer service, sales, technicians. And everyone I spoke with at Dell were professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I will buy Dell again when needed.
Dell computer discovered that the alienware notebook they went me was faulty. They sent a replacement computer to the wrong address - I repeatedly called them and emailed them and they still sent it anyway. The address was set up by a thief - I let Anytime Mailbox know and they cancelled the mailbox. We had to go to the mailbox to receive it - how unprofessional of Dell! I've been a longtime client of Dell and purchased many computers from them. I'm very disappointed.
Tip for consumers:
Sent to wrong address - I spoke with them on the phone and by email multiple times - they never changed the fraudulent address, (set up by a thief). Why did Dell even have this address - I never gave it to them - I've lived in same address for 34 years.

My brand new dell laptop (2016) came with plenty of issues between always requiring new updates in order to function and the sound never working unless headphones were plugged in. I ended up paying much more than what it was worth, not to mention I could never get it to print when I needed it to.
I recently purchased a Dell laptop and it is awesome. Battery is slightly weak and it drains fast. I always clear cache but still i am facing this problem. Other things 10/10. Speed, color quality. Processing speed and sound, Hands up...!
I have had Dell forever. They are very sturdy and you can trust them. My kids dropped them several times and they keep working. For college students they are a plus because come in many different formats. Very good job Dell. You have here a well satisfied customer. Thanks.
Tip for consumers:
dont buy it.

My dell laptop is the best one i have ever had! It lasted for 13 years and is still going strong, i just need a new battery and charger but instead use my boyfriends pc as don't need one now finished University!
It had been dropped hundreds of times, drinks spilt on it and it just kept on going! I love it!
Dell used to make quality products and they used to stand behind them. Those days are long gone. Many other companies make better computers and the Dell customer service is plain horrible. I purchased a Dell laptop 3 months ago and it has never worked properly. I spent hours on the phone with Dell techs to try to solve the issues. I then had to send it back to them in Jan. It was returned and I cannot use it. It locks up all the time. It is currently froze up and cannot do anything. Dell wishes for me to send it back to service again. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere to buy a laptop. Dell is junk these days
