I Update: The rep did get back with me in the last couple of days.I e mailed the company from a new e mail account. The rep was kind enough to put tge website back up I was told by rep, at Deluxe Hosting that my web site would be put back on as soon as I paid the invoice.After thirty years using their business,.I had forgotten to pay invoice because my husband was dying of Cancer.I was told that web site would be pulled up right away, after paying invoice. After paying invoice, they have answered none of my e mails. When they usually answer immediately.

Loved them for many years with a 5 star experience. Then they significantly raised their prices and no longer answer the support phone on the weekends. When our WordPress got hacked at Deluxe Hosting the hacker implanted a virus in our simple machines forum. Deluxe Hosting's attitude was basically "Too bad, so sad" and "suggest maybe reaching out to a local technical school or college and see if there are any students looking for work experience who may be willing to help you."

Ideal customer support! Any problem you have such as (ssl, cron... anything u need). The support team is at your rescue, either through phone or live chat! I give them an A+++!.

PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE! This host is beyond bad. They not only LOST my client's domain but has been sending me in circles trying to figure out why his Domain is pointing to ANOTHER HOST! The customer service is non-existent and will not listen to anything you say. If you love having large headaches, your hosts servers going down at random times for seemingly no reason, or just torture then this is the host for you! $#*! you Deluxe Hosting and an even bigger $#*! you to SimpleHost.

Stay away from this hosting provider. Their support never follows up, never actually submits support tickets, and doesn't know what they are doing. Site and email has been down all day. Everyone i talk to has said there was no support ticket submitted. Its been supposedly submitted 3 times each time I talk to someone but when I call later asking for the status, no one knows anything and nothing was submitted. Their support techs don't know what they are doing either as they keep telling me that I need to pay for additional services for things to work when I know for a fact you do not.

Called the next day asking for a status. The ticket has been jumping around the different tiers of service each one telling the other to take care of it. They won't even respond to their own tech support manger's notes to take care of the issue. I then get excuses, sorry we don't have the staff available, sorry we have to wait till the billing team comes back during the weekdays, sorry I can't provide an update because the techs aren't responding to me. What the hell? How can you run a hosting company like this?

Absolutely terrible service. Avoid them at all costs.

Even go daddy is better then them. I was transferred to them via liquid web with no permission. Deluxe costumer service is the worse I have ever experienced. They know nothing to help you with any issues. Takes 1 hour to even get them the phone. STAY AWAY OR PREPARE TO LOSE MONEY.

Bought a new computer. Had to call them for assistance and it was awesome to get a live person. Normally you can't get that with other services. This host is there when you need them.

I've used Deluxe Hosting for years, hosting multiple business sites and have not had issues until this year (2021).

It started when all of our sites AND Deluxehosting.com went down for hours without any notice. We could not get ahold of anyone as they do not offer phone support due to COVID and can't chat in since their site was down and emails to them were bouncing.

This same complete outage happened again a month or two later.

Both of these incidents - the company never issued a post mortem, apology, or explanation as to what happened. I tried to ask for more information, but they refused to provide any information, an apology, etc.

As I look to move our server to a new host, our site goes down twice in one day. One they say was due to a "Server permission issue" and the other is they say was a "Cert Issue" causing them to have to repurchase and install our site's ceriticates despite our cert being active (Renewed in July)

Support is only via chat and super frustrating to deal with. It seems like it's all outsourced and they are not able to effectively communicate or identify the issue at hand.

Here's a rundown of our month after Liquidweb sold our account to DeluxeHosting.com

1. They put our site on a server that had an outdated version of PHP installed, which caused errors on our site and made it impossible to update our WordPress plugins.

2. Our site was hacked. Twice. They tried to blame this on our WordPress theme, but part of both hacks involved the hackers getting our FTP, cPanel, and deluxehosting.com logins. That's not possible to get from a compromised WordPress theme. Clearly someone had hacked into their system. Still, that's what they claimed and were of no help, so we cleaned things up on our own.

3. The entire server was offline for 3 days due to hardware malfunction.

4. While working on our site they somehow managed to delete all of our WordPress users. All of them.

It's bad enough that all of these issues happened, but to make matters worse they don't respond to tech support tickets for days at a time.

I'm not left pulling my hair out, having to be rude on the phone with their tech support staff because it's the only way I seem to be able to get any response from them, and hoping that they can restore our site to an earlier date so I can grab a working backup of the site and get the hell off their server.

I've been working as a website developer for over 15 years. I have never encountered a host as horrible as DeluxeHosting. I can not stress enough how miserable our experience with them has been.

I got moved over to this hellhole when my account was sold by LiquidWeb a little less than a year ago. Little did I know that this One-Man-Show would increase my blood pressure and destroy my once promising business.

Deluxe(?)hosting do not understand the meaning of customer service. In my line of business if I provide bad service causing my customers to lose money, when my customer call to find out what's going on if I tell them to calm down I would be out of business.

I have (had) a couple websites with Deluxe(?)hosting and I kept losing files from my public_html directory. Every time I call, nobody (the same guy pick up the phone every time with a different name) I mean nobody knows why.

At first I was told that I deleted my own files. The guy said he was going to open a ticket to find out what happens. And supposedly escalate my issue to tier 2 (lol. What a joke) there is no such thing as tiered support at Deluxehosting. It's just one guy.

An hour later the guy sent me an email telling me that the files were not deleted but rather the permissions were changed. Who changed them? He doesn't know.

What do the logs show, I ask him. Nothing.

If you wanna have fun with html, php well I guess you will find deluxehole appealing. If instead you want to run a business, forget it. You need to find a reputable host not this deluxehole.

Have not had one single issue with their hosting. Bills come in on time and we have automatic payments setup. Nothing to worry about.
