Only quality paid photos. I decided to try download few stock photos, and I didn't have any problems with shipping or quality of them. I like their quality and continue to download some stock photos from time to time.
I purchased a few credits because I needed some stock photos. When I used the last few credits, with 1 credit remaining, they auto renewed my credits and charged me $32, even though I had set my auto-renew as "inactive". No warning or confirmation. Just a charge that I wasn't expecting and couldn't afford.
I also had a bad experience with them.
I decided to give it a try and I subscribed to their free trial. When you register, they ask you for your credit card or paypal account.
But you have to be very careful because they MIGHT charge you the full monthly fee subscription (59.00$) even if you're still on your 6th day! And then, when you talk to their customer service they won't completely refund you!
You have to choose between 50% refund or convert the 59$ to credits...
I was really disappointed, It wasn't a free trail it was a trap.
Good images and price but they are thieves with anuto renewal of subscriptions and then offering no refund. When you go to cancel they make you go through 4 pages before they accept.
Use CanStock for service
They charged me double. The "autorenovation" button is "on" unless you manually switch it off, if you accidentally download more photos than you paid, your package renovates automatically so they charge you again to your credit card.
Depositphotos charged my Paypal but didn't renew my account. Instead they sent me an email and asked to pay for it AGAIN! But I remembered that my Paypal was just charged. I contacted support. And they issued a refund to me and asked me to re-purchase the subscription. When I looked into the invoice I found out I was charge TWICE every month! I asked support how is it possible. The thing is the recurring payment didn't work once and I had to go and pay manually. For them it was as if I purchased same plan 2nd time and I have 2 same plans now. In some magical way, recurring payments for the first plan started working again. This month I have similar situation. They got my money, they didn't renew my plan and asked to pay again. If I didn't contact their support, they would charge me twice again.
My favorite photostock. I have my own blog and I decided to use this website as a content storage. I've signed up or a month and continue using this storage, I'm glad about quality of the photos and videos, as for me this is the best one I've ever use.
Your customer service is a joke! I downloaded an image that has text that was not removed once downloaded, and I was told by your support team that I need to download additional software to remove this text. It was not a vector file just a L image. If you all want to pay for photoshop or Adobe for me to edit these files that's fine. All I am asking for is a credit to my account due to the fact that the text is NOT removed, and I do not have that software so I will not be using that image.
Once my credits run out, I will never use your services again, and I will not recommend your service to anyone I know. oh... I run a digital agency and use your service all the time... not any more. #poorcustomerservice
To begin, I have NEVER heard of this "company", nor have I EVER done business with them either.
This morning my bank called me to tell me that DepositPhotos attempted to steal almost $600 from my bank account. Not only are these idiots scammers and have poor practices with billing, they are now phishing accounts and stealing card numbers, too. Too bad they made an attempt on the wrong guy this morning.
They will charge you every month without any notice, I purchased a monthly subscription, but by default they set it up to automatically renew. They did NOT give me an opportunity to check a box for automatic renewal. Instead, by default, it automatically renews, even though I subscribe to a MONTH service. They could clearly see that I was NOT using their service after the 1st month, but still continued to charge my credit card 4 Times, after I noticed that They refused to credit my card, and only offered to give me credits to use with them. They told me that I could NOT talk with their financial department via the phone, only by email. The customer service agent said that she would contact their financial department and call me back. It is a misleading practice that lacks safeguards for the consumer, and with little to no recourse. STAY AWAY
Answer: I chose them because other websites are too expensive for the amount you get. This is not an issue if this is being done in a commercial setting as cost is part of doing business. I on the other hand am a digital artist who creates non commercially and do not profit off my creations. I create for the sake of creating. I am able to get 30 downloads for $30 a month which for my purposes is perfect. For someone that just wants to create art non commercially then depositphotos offers the best value.
