I went to other stock sites after Deposit fanged their website. It was too hard to use. Came back recently and am happy to see it simplified again with great pricing options now.
Deposit Photos provides great photos at a very reasonable price. It allowed me to get my start-up business site up and running when I didn't yet have many of my own stock photos.
It is highly recommended by many of my friends (web designers). I can freely sell my photos here. But not all of them can pass moderation. That's why I use few photo stocks at the same time.
A wonderful collection of photos and knowledge provided which really suited my needs.
Finally found an affordable and fantastic opportunity to support my business. Highly recommend.
I am an amateur photographer and was looking for some decent backgrounds to use. DepositPhotos had some of the best selections and by comparison, reasonably priced.
Depositphotos is so bad words fail me
If you buy cheap subscription you buy twice, please avoid them, they will charge you monthly and if you ask for help it takes days for them to answer a support ticket, they won't help you with live support or phone call they blocked me for no reason, after I filed a complaint with BBB they reactive my account but I will no longer use their service, Depositphotos is a 100% Pure Fraud - F#6k them Just look at the complaints on google or BBB. Sorry I would give no stars if possible. They even don't deserve 1 Star. Absolutely ridiculous, do not use this service avoid it.
I lost 20 Eur + VAT due to DEPOSITPHOTO unfair method. I bought monthly subscription plan. After 1 month it some how, magically was renewed! I am sure I press Auto-renewal OFF" when I bought it. I complained to custoMer service. They offered me to change my "2 downloads" into "20 credits", and to keep credits for 1 year. They couldn't offer a refund...
I will search for another, safer stockphoto website.
In this day and age, with so many options for stock photos etc... just go elsewhere. Deposit lock you in to ridiculous terms of service, so you cannot use images outside of an active subscription.
A reasonable low-cost plan for a large selection of quality photos. I have been very happy with my experience. It's nice to have a resource that doesn't break the bank.
They overcharge my card on two separate occasions. I tried to get the customer service on the phone and they basically told me "it isn't their problem."
Beware of this company, and stay away.
