I have yet to have any problems with ordering, placing and receiving an order. One time accidentally hit a button to redeem points on my account and I didn't use them for an order and if I recall it deducted those points even though I didn't use my credit for a purchase that particular time. The prices are a bit higher than what you may find at a drug store, but considering why I started purchasing from Dermstore and not from the aesthetics office for a bit cheaper than the competitors I've been able to get what I want shipped directly to my home without the pressure to purchase directly through the spa. They should offer promo codes too, but if you do reviews for products on their site you can get 50 points for being a member. Until I find somewhere else to purchase I will be using Dermstore. I'm not sure what's up with the customer service situation people have complained about, but it's worth checking out the website for yourself. Hope this helps you with your search.
Horrible Horrible experience. I order 3 Obaji medical items. All 3 showed up with the individual boxes being unsealed and obviously had been opened before. I contacted Dermstore and asked for a return label. I sent the required pictures of the products. I was told to just throw items away and I would receive a full refund. When I did not get the refund, I was told to send pictures of the items which was impossible because I threw them away as instructed. Now they deny a refund because I cannot produce pictures. This is a fraudulent vendor that sells returned items.I lost of $200
I ordered over $600 worth of skin cream from Dermstore, all 2 oz bottles (quanity was 3). They proceeded to send me 3 sample sizes (0.3 oz). I contacted them and they said they would send the correct sizes. However, they sent the same 3 sample sizes. I have constantly contacted them and called, and they always say "we are looking into it." I have sent pictures of the orders, my order number, and even contacted the BBB, but to no avail. Dermstore took over $600 in April, and now in June they have my money, but have not delivered what I ordered. Frankly, they know this fact and are stalling. Order your skin products from any other site, even if more expensive, as Dermstore will steal your money.
Bought a roller serum but it arrived dry and there was no product inside AT ALL. I had been more than generous with my patience with them. I went to their help center multiple times (twice via messaging, 4 times by call) and each time i was told their quality team was on it. I had even sent photos and videos to their email as requested and told to wait 3-5 business days but it wasn't even opened! This whole process took the better part of 2 months of back and forth before i finally disputed with my bank to get my money back. This whole process had 0 communication until i did so and suddenly they email me saying they would refund me for it and if i could cancel my dispute with the bank! Very very shady! If you are dealing with the help center, you honestly should just skip the whole thing and dispute with your bank.
After I placed order took 4 days to get to the shipping date; Took 5 days for item to arrive. Links to the track package and to the survey did not work.

I ordered couple items from the website and selected rush shipping because it say 2 days guaranteed. It ended up late because they have a processing time that they didn't reveal. I was in need of the product. When I opened up the package, I see that they shipped me incorrect item. What I need is not in the box. I contacted customer service, they didn't even apologize. Asked information on the item I received, asked me to send it back and said they will send the item I don't receive back to me not agreeing to rush it. I don't mind doing extra to fix their error but not even owning responsibility and accountability to the mistake is not acceptable. Do not shop with them to save yourself some troubles.
My first order w/Dermstore was great. Free priority shipping and my order was delivered on the 2nd business day after ordered.So I decided to place another order. I'm still waiting for it to be delivered. Ordered 10 days ago. I have sent 5 emails and they have not responded to one of them. I checked the tracking and it says it was delivered. But it was NOT delivered to me! I paid $120. For nothing? What really makes me fume is their total lack of response. They take your money and do not deliver anything. I just want my order delivered to me! I intend on informing all the sites and blogs and better business bureau that will let me vent. Any ideas what I can do to get my order or my money back? Do Not shop at Dermstore~!
Terrible customer service, they don't answer email, their live chat doesn't work, it's a 30 minute wait for a phone call, and if you get thru, they can't answer a question, or it's too late to cancel, but you can send it back, for a FEE, good scam they have going, don't order from them
I bought my product. So I wait until 3 weeks, the ups tracking is show my address it wrong. Then, my packing shipped back to the sender. I call the dermstore, and the customer services said my packing send to my house, but my family refuse to receive it. If I cancel or I want to send it again, anyway it will charge me 15$. I think it scam websites, don't buy any products on this.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I purchased two products from Dermstore. One was backordered but I was charged for it. I never received the backordered item, and when I asked for my money back (three times) they claimed to have technical difficulties. I have spent a total of three hours on hold trying to reach someone, and sent three emails. Every time they are having technical difficulties. This company is a total ripoff!
Ordered one item, completed the routine check out process but somehow they added an additional product so my order was double the price I expected. It's as if they select the additional product and it's up to you to de-select the product they included in your order. I order online products very often, never once did it notice the additional item added on throught the online transaction, until I viewed my statement.
I have called multiple times and emailed requesting for a manager to call me to discuss an issue I had regarding an auto-ship order. Cannot get a return call. Would NOT recommend using this company and definitely not setting up an auto-ship order.
I returned a very expensive blow dryer and they said that they did not receive it. They said they received the box but it didn't have the blow dryer in it. They would not refund my money! Rip off! Make sure if your returning anything to them, to video the whole thing!
I recently ordered an item and they took it upon themselves to add something to the order. The 800 # is buggy and repeats a message over and over again.
So, beware when you order from here, they will add something to the order and use your card to bill it.

This was my first time ordering from Dermstore and I was already a w bit worried with some of the negative reviews I had seen but I had also seen quite a few positive ones as well but I thought I'd take the chance cause I'm an international customer and these products weren't available from any of my trusted websites (Amazon, Ebay). Wrong choice. I ordered from here and my package was delivered but I was demanded to pay cash upon delivery which of course I refused, as I had paid online with my card. The transaction had been processed with the money being taken out of account. So currently I don't have the product or the cash with which I paid. I have emailed customer services but I'm not holding out hope for an answer or a solution. International customers definitely do not shop from here.
I ordered Shampoo and night cream for 80$ and received email from my credit company that they charged me for 80$ but nothing shows in my account on Dermstore.com and no confirmation email sent to me. Chatted with them for hours and called them several times but every time stayed on the line for almost 1 hour and they said as there is nothing shown in my account they can not do anything. I asked them to send them my credit card confirmation and if nothing is shown in my account why they charged my account exactly 80$, same price of my order. So annoying. Now I shall call my credit card company and ask them to dispute that charge because Dermstore can not provide reliable website for its costumers.

I've ordered from many sites and found Dermstore to be so easy to navigate. I had several items to order and found them all quickly, put them in my cart, used my Paypal account and I was done.

I was so excited to place my order of the color wow dream coat and receive it. However when I did receive it the lid of my container was broken and empty. I reached out to dermstore and sent my pictures on June 5th they apologized and requested the proof of purchase, which I sent. Today is June 16th and I have messaged back 2 more times and now they are just ignoring my messages. It's unfortunate that such a know company have poor customer care.
I bought a gift set for my sister it was supposed to be here in time for her birthday I only got partial of my order. When I called they said they forgot to put my Harry josh straightener in there. So I had no gift for my sisters birthday. Never doing business with them again. Beware!
Looks like Dermstore was recently acquired and the new company has since overhauled the site and the backend logistics for shipping and returns. Do yourself a favor and avoid ordering anything from them in the near future. I have purchased $1000s from Dermstore over the last year and they always had reliable products and easy shipping and returns. Since this new acquisition in which they failed to give any heads up to the customers until it was too late and orders and subscriptions were way backed up and returns couldn't be initiated, I have avoided buying anything from them. I made a return almost a month ago (which took almost a month to get someone from customer service to send me the shipping label) and I'm still waiting for my refund to come through. I'm going to dispute the charges with my credit card company.

This is the worst website I have ever bought something from. 1. They lied. After I made my purchase I received an email saying the product was out of stock. Then I looked on there website and it wasn't. 2. They took my money. I payed extra for upgraded shipping and a week later and I never got my product. The shipping wasn't refunded. I called customer service and it was very unhelpful. It's been a while and I've never gotten my serum. Never trust this website with your money.

I will not be placing another order from the Dermstore. They cancelled one of my orders, and it took 2 separate phone calls to get everything sorted out. I made 2 orders being shipped to 2 addresses- they said they cancelled one because they were being shipped to the same address, but when I checked my confirmation emails, this was not the case and the cancellation was their mistake. The customer service representative was rude and impatient- continually cutting me off and blaming me for the cancellation. Definitely not worth it!

I placed an order for a moisturizer and lash enhancer for my wife for christmas and received my order in 2 days. They had what my wife wanted and had free shipping. I like that they guarantee that all of the items are authentic. Would shop there again.
I ordered a shampoo last month and paid extra for two day shipping. After five days, I give them a call because I paid extra for two day shipping. The woman I spoke to said it takes two days to process in addition to two days to ship, so basically if you pay for two day shipping it will get there in four days or in my case five. I got a refund for the two day shipping, but trying to get that refund was like pulling teeth. I used to order from dermstore all the time, but after this experience I will not.

I am really confused by the large amount of terrible reviews. I made an order with Dermstore before reading any of these - then I went on to read these reviews a day after I made the order and was really nervous. I called Dermstore to try cancel my order but they had already confirmed it. So I decided to wait and see what would happen.
I got my products, all in good condition, I received my free product and a lot of free samples that I wasn't expecting. There was only one issue - the protective seal on one of the exfoliating scrubs that I bought had fallen off. I didn't really feel comfortable using a product on my skin that was open.
I just called Dermstore explaining this, the customer representative (I think her name was Gina) straight away apologised and understood why I did not want to use it. Instantly she made another order for me and expedited the shipping, all for FREE. I was so surprised and thankful. No questions asked!
