I have yet to have any problems with ordering, placing and receiving an order. One time accidentally hit a button to redeem points on my account and I didn't use them for an order and if I recall it deducted those points even though I didn't use my credit for a purchase that particular time. The prices are a bit higher than what you may find at a drug store, but considering why I started purchasing from Dermstore and not from the aesthetics office for a bit cheaper than the competitors I've been able to get what I want shipped directly to my home without the pressure to purchase directly through the spa. They should offer promo codes too, but if you do reviews for products on their site you can get 50 points for being a member. Until I find somewhere else to purchase I will be using Dermstore. I'm not sure what's up with the customer service situation people have complained about, but it's worth checking out the website for yourself. Hope this helps you with your search.
Horrible Horrible experience. I order 3 Obaji medical items. All 3 showed up with the individual boxes being unsealed and obviously had been opened before. I contacted Dermstore and asked for a return label. I sent the required pictures of the products. I was told to just throw items away and I would receive a full refund. When I did not get the refund, I was told to send pictures of the items which was impossible because I threw them away as instructed. Now they deny a refund because I cannot produce pictures. This is a fraudulent vendor that sells returned items.I lost of $200
This business is irresponsible. I ordered two items got a confirmation number was waiting for the order but it never arrived. Checked with their customer service who couldn't care less and was told that it did not get shipped because the items were in back order and nobody cared to notify me. The next day I checked and the whole order was canceled, again nobody notified. Awful service!
Order took weeks, nobody replied to my numerous emails regarding the status of my order. Just order from the brand seller. Requested a return label and never received return label. Never ordering from them again.
Its been a week! They havent re-ship my correct order yet! They always tell you need to wait stock check! And the stock check need to take 24~48hours! And its more than 48hours, they still say you have to wait until stock check done, now I believe why so many customer complaints about they got wrong item, cause it happened to me, until now, still waiting, couldnt do anything
I just called customer service, I dont even know how many days i will need to wait they ship out the correct item no offense, I will not recommend this website to my friends, cause they will not solve the mistakes they made, just let you keep waiting long time, and I dont know will they ship correct item or wrong item again
Canceled order days before shipped, they still sent items out. Now I have to go out and send back, ok. Now it's been two weeks and still no refund. Called to check on my return and told representative what happened and got hung up on. Called to speak to supervisor and she wouldn't get on phone. Will never deal with this company again!
I have placed multiple orders and each time I receive an email that there is a problem with my order. This requires a call to their WORTHLESS customer service. As soon as I spend 20 minutes on hold and finally speak with someone, my credit card is "released". This most recent time, I just emailed them back and received an email back that there was a problem on my credit card and my order was being cancelled.
I only continued to order from when they offered a 20% discount on my Cellex products. I order from multiple vendors online and have NEVER had a problem like this with anyone else. I will stick with Skinstore next time.
Was sent my original order, then 3 weeks later received an email that another order was shipped. I called right away and they told me they couldn't cancel it as it was already shipped but I could send it back once I received it. WTH! Thought it was ridiculous since they clearly shipped the same order TWICE! Also why was it 3 weeks later?! How was that even approved? SO confused and they have no explanation either as to why I was sent/charged twice. Such a hassel for something that was not my fault. A month later still waiting on my refund so I do a quick online chat... oh yeah we'll refund it right now. Umm excuse me, why did it take you an entire month to complete my refund in the first place? Where you hoping I would forget and not issue one? Seems super fishy. In the end I did get refunded however It was a huge hassle for something that didn't need to be that complicated. And I might add poor customer service through out the entire process. Won't be ordering from them again!

This company is a farse. I ordered Eminence products and attempted to return all products unopened totaling over $600 (within 2 days of receiving) and I have been trying to follow-up on my return refund and I cannot get a hold of anyone! I used customer support in the app and the POC of the thread just keep asking me for my order number and info over and over again. I've already return the items with priority express and tracking shows that they have been delivered. But i cant get a hold of anyone to follow-up on my refund. Save your money and find another beauty supply company to buy from.

I love the quality of its products. Ordered a lipstick and overnight balm. Couldn't help to try the lipstick immediately. It is longlasting indeed. Still haven't tried the balm yet, but I'm sure I won't be disappointed. The shipping is also good, everything arrived in time.
They messed up my order, said he it was in stock, then three days after I ordered it they said it wasn't. I called customer service and they were clearly not interested in doing their job, made it clear they didn't care about me or my ordered. I submitted an online complaint about the rude customer service. They sent a reply they would review my email and get back to me. Next email said my complaint had been closed and since it had been more than 30 days I would have to submit a new one. It had only been two days and I never heard anything from anyone and still don't have my order. They are horrible, go somewhere else!
I've been using some skin care product from Dermstore. I found it after looking for it for 2 months. Although, I read some unimpressive reviews, I couldn't hesitate to press my order because I wanted the product badly.

Not only can they not find the order that I placed on July 5, but the "Customer Service" Associate told me it's too early for me to ask for assistance with it. I have to wait until July 20th! Mind you, the estimated delivery date on my account says July 12. If this were Amazon (and I'll likely order from them in the future), they could tell me the status of my order exactly. While I theoretically save money - if I ever receive the products, the hassle ISN'T worth it.

I received the wrong items. I open box to look for an invoice. No invoice, really? I contacted them and was told they would send my correct items next day, I followed up the next day because I've been told this before and sure enough they said nope we need you to send back and we have to receive the incorrect items first because they are so expensive. I sad well the products I paid for are more expensive! I shipped the incorrect order out the very next morning and called and gave them a tracking number. They used the cheapest and longest return shipping even though I paid for express shipping on my order. I complained and they said they cant ship until the see what I returned because I could of just put anything in a box and returned it. Lol. So now I have to wait 7 to 14 days for them to receive, inspect and then ship my correct items. That is if I even get the correct items, when I called the woman couldn't even tell me what my correct order was
I order the obagi nu derm kit on their website, after ordering it i realized it was not the RX version. Therefore soon after i made the order, i requested that it was cancelled. I received email notification that it was cancelled. However, i call customer service and was told it was never cancelled. My order was delivered today, and when i open the box the expiration date shows 05/2021. They are a fraud. I am requesting a refund. I will ship this product back. Beware NO where on their website is there a place that provides info to start the return process. You click on the so called link, and then your just sending another email. Smh. This company is a scam. Selling old cosmetics products.
Do not order from this website! I placed an order a month ago and still have not received my product nor have i received a response to multiple contacts i made to them. I did their UPS tracking and it showed that it was delievered... but obviously not to my door. I have ordered many products online from different websites and never had a problem. Hi! I purchases expensive face cream that arrived damaged. I returned it via a Dermstore label last month and still dont have my money back. They have a great "runaround" scam for requesting help so I'd learn from my money lose and BUY ELSEWHERE.

I tried to get this resolved and have all the emails to support my claim. I even used their label to return and still dont have my money back and can prove it was shipped back with my receipts.

Misleading promos and no help from customer service. Tried to make a purchase on 5/29 and the summer sale promo code "SUN" would not be applied at checkout. I gave up and tried again the next day 5/30 because the promo terms said "offer ends 5/31 at 11:59 pm pst." The next day 5/30 the promo still wouldn't work at checkout. I contacted an agent via chat who said the promo expired yesterday (5/29) and offered no solution.
On the homepage it states eltamd is part of the summer sale and is the first image shown that says "the summer sale." When you click the summer sale image from the home page goes to a url that is "https://www.dermstore.com/summer-sale.list..." on that page the entire first row of products are eltamd and include the product I attempted to purchase. That page mentions the summer sale three times. So why they won't honor their advertised promo is beyond me and the customer service agent provided zero help. Will not be shopping there again.
Hello. I placed an order last night (all items in stock according to site at the time of purchase) I received an order confirmation number and figured it's all set. I log in to my email today and they said that my order was incomplete and that I'd have to re-enter my credit card information and they also added in that one of my items I had ordered wasn't in stock. I'm not entering in my credit card info again, sorry. I was able to cancel my order all together and I'm alerting my credit card company tomorrow of fraud. I would steer clear far away from this site.
I am very concerned that I was sent counterfeit product. I ordered SKII Essence. I needed it in a hurry and they offered over night shipping for $30.00. It arrived but the product box did not have cellophane wrap, the bottle looked to be old, and the product is NOT the quality I am used to. This stuff is costly and I am NOT happy.

I ordered 3 Oribe large texturizing sprays for my hair for the advertised discount of 25%. Couldn't figure out how to get the discount after putting in my credit card, then spent 15 minutes searching their website for an email or phone or CHAT for their customer service. Couldn't find any way to contact them and ask for the discount. Finally I did and got a message back saying to not use this email as it wouldn't be read! This site seems like a scam and I will buy from my salon going forward and have credit card cancel the charge. Awful.
I used to order all of my skincare products from this store. About a month ago, I ordered several products, which for some reason took a month to arrived. Turns out that from the 5 items I purchased only 3 arrived (they never allowed me to cancel the order though I did request them to do so). When I was finally able to contact them, I realized that even though they said they did not sent 2 out of 5 products because they were out of stock. They still never credited me that extra back. When I told them, they Told me they sent me an email, stating they did not have those items in stock (email I never received) and because I never replied back they never credited me? Even knowing they would not be able to send those products at all! At the end, they never refund me the money at all. This store costumer service is really poor. Also, be warned. What happened to me was a scam! Do yourself a favor and don't purchase from these thieves. I know I never will.
This website is a scam! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I ordered powder that they said was in stock, got my confirmation email the same day, then got an email the next day saying that it is on back order. They never gave me an estimated delivery date so I clicked on the link to track my package and their website said that it was canceled. But yet I never got refunded or told that it was even canceled! What kind of a scam is that? This website is horrible and I would not suggest it to anyone!
I placed an order with Dermstore which included 2 gifts with purchase. When I received my order the gifts with purchase were not included. I called dermstore and was told that those items needed to be chosen at checkout. I asked to speak w a manager and was told I would get a callback within 48-72 hrs. That was 2 weeks ago. I have called 5 times and have never received a callback. I have been told that they run out of these gifts quickly however that is not indicated in the cart when you go to pay. This is frustrating and aggravating. As of today I was told many managers have been fired and there are only 2 left. This is not only false advertising but also lousy customer service.
Orderered with paypal, Dermstore said they had problem getting paid so wouldnt send product so i called paypal and credit card co. They said everything was fine just waiting for Dermstore to collect payment, dermstore said cannot try to collect from paypal a second time i needed to give them full credit card over phone to them, i said no thats why i went through paypal?! Then they kept calling me everyday to get credit card # then found out it was because it had already been shipped? Soo i dont know will see if it comes before i give them my credit card payment dont trust them after hours and hours of going in circles somebody messed up somewhere
If you like sitting on hold for over 40 minutes to speak to a customer service person (this has happened on 3 separate occasions), then this is the site for you! And even better, once you hang up you realize they did what you asked them to do incorrectly! It's a JOY! I have asked 2 different customer service people how to change my shipping address on line - they don't know how to do it... UGH. I asked to have a manager call me... the customer service person PROMISED me that someone would be in touch that day... NO PHONE CALL. The customer service person changed my billing address NOT my shipping address which is wrong. I have cancelled my subscription (auto ship for a product I use daily) and will now pay a little more to buy on Amazon WITHOUT the aggravation.
