I have yet to have any problems with ordering, placing and receiving an order. One time accidentally hit a button to redeem points on my account and I didn't use them for an order and if I recall it deducted those points even though I didn't use my credit for a purchase that particular time. The prices are a bit higher than what you may find at a drug store, but considering why I started purchasing from Dermstore and not from the aesthetics office for a bit cheaper than the competitors I've been able to get what I want shipped directly to my home without the pressure to purchase directly through the spa. They should offer promo codes too, but if you do reviews for products on their site you can get 50 points for being a member. Until I find somewhere else to purchase I will be using Dermstore. I'm not sure what's up with the customer service situation people have complained about, but it's worth checking out the website for yourself. Hope this helps you with your search.
Horrible Horrible experience. I order 3 Obaji medical items. All 3 showed up with the individual boxes being unsealed and obviously had been opened before. I contacted Dermstore and asked for a return label. I sent the required pictures of the products. I was told to just throw items away and I would receive a full refund. When I did not get the refund, I was told to send pictures of the items which was impossible because I threw them away as instructed. Now they deny a refund because I cannot produce pictures. This is a fraudulent vendor that sells returned items.I lost of $200
I ordered two of the same items and over a week later they hadn't shipped yet. When I decided to reach out and speak with customer service (had to message since they don't answer phones) they told me the items were "out of stock" and said nothing else. There was no attempt to remedy the situation by customer service. Nowhere on the website does it state "out of stock" and they are still currently selling these items as "in stock". It's wrong to sell items that you don't have and not even let the customer know until they reach out to you. The fact that you sell out of stock items, your chat never works and that you place people on hold for 30+ minutes shows how horrendous your service actually is. I want a full refund for my purchase immediately and i highly suggest you start notifying customers the moment they order something that you don't have. This was my first time ordering through this company and I will never do it again.
Such an unfortunate experience. I purchased items on December 1,2019 and two weeks later I just received the shipping email. I called multiple times this week to receive an update and all reps assured me it would be delivered before my trip. The reps were so unhelpful and rude on the phone. I tried to message them on FB and no response. I'm not using them ever again.
I love this site. They have an amazing selection of products, the prices are great, and they just add free stuff to your order as you add items. It's wonderful. The site itself is very user-friendly and is continually updated with offers and new hot-lists. I'm a fan!
I had a very poor experience with this site. Advertised offer included a 30 dollar rebate that they clearly had no intention of fulfilling. Don't believe the hype and save our money for a reputable site.

I asked for a proof by requesting a transaction number for the " refund" and the rep said they cannot provide one. Now I have to ask my credit card company! Don't order from here, SCAM!

Ordered my products never received and called to replace order but only received an automated email response. After 2 phone calls they don't want to talk to me anymore and put me in silent mode till I hung up by myself, they make it so hard to replace the orders if they lost your products. I still didn't get my $217 back.
Break out your calculator and review the order pricing especially if you're using discount codes. The Black Friday discount in my cart and checkout before entering my credit card info was not applied. Long story short they tried to charge me more than the cost according to the order summary breakdown. Also, if you make a return they don't credit back your credit card … they give you a store credit that will expire if you forget about it and don't use it.

I had a wonderful experience shopping online with DermStore and was really impressed by the selection of high quality products all in one place. There is definitely something for everyone! Moreover, I found the prices of DermStore's products to be competitive and was 100% satisfied with the free shipping and speed of delivery; I didn't expect to be using my product within two days of when I placed my order. As an added bonus, I've been enjoying the high quality samples that I received free with my purchase. I'll definitely be returning to shop again and will be telling all of my friends to shop with DermStore for any of their future beauty purchases.
I called in regards to a missing order after receiving a false "generated" email telling me my items had shipped. Called to find my package and was hung up on after the very rude lady refused to give me her name or supervisors and refused to help me at all. I was a first time (but big) buyer and am sad to say I will not be returning- all because the help was so horrible and I am embarrassed for their business that they hired such awful help.
They took my money for a product that was no longer in stock. Then would send these vague emails with ZERO information about how my order was "delayed." I had to use the live chat to get anyone to communicate with me and the first person told me that my order had "just left the warehouse so it couldn't be refunded but I'd get a shipping notification within 24 hrs." Days later I used the live chat again and they told me it was out of stock. So they just blatantly lied about the refund. In order to process a refund they'd need to "arise the refund request to their customer relations dept. Within 3-5 days someone would contact me to process the refund which would then take another 3-5 days to process." Sounds like another lie to me. The agent on Live Chat said there was no other way to contact customer service. Absolutely horrible experience and will advice everyone I know never to use this company.
Placed one order and and automatically got put on a reorder subscription. Continued charges on credit card until I replaced card. Deceptive company with no customer service to contact. Do not be fooled! Phone calls are sent to a automated system then never puts you through to a live person. Return emails and live chats do not function.
If I could rate it less than 1 star I would. I wish I had read the reviews on this site before I decided to deal with them. I do ALL my shopping online and this has been the worst by far. I sent an email (polite) explaining the problem, got back the normal- Thank you for your email you will receive a response in 24 hours... Well, it is now 2 weeks later and I do not have a response to my email. It just isn't worth it. I will let everyone I know to avoid this website like the plague.

They don't send emails when your items ship. So you're kind of just waiting and hoping they got your order and that they'll ship them. Shipping takes longer than it should. Their online chat is useless. They'll say someone is there to answer questions and then they don't respond. I won't use them again. There's no proof that I ordered anything. No receipt in the box. Nothing.
I bought almost $200 worth of product on the 1st of April and still have not received a message back about the lost package. So I tried again and paid extra for two day shipping but it is coming 6 days later! Customer service is slow and terrible, and the money is not worth it. I ordered directly from the companies and received my packed in 2 days without having to pay extra.

I wish I could give negative stars. Ordered on 11/25. It is Dec 16 and still not received it. Customer service says it was picked up in Brooklyn!?!?!? What!?. Ask to speak to supervisor immediately. Says she will send an escalated email and some will get back to me within 48 hours. That is certainly not good customer service.
I decided to purchase from Dermstore on Black Friday in large part due to the special they were running. They were offering a gift bundle with the value of $194 for any purchase over $200. While I was going through to purchase, I didn't have the option to add the gift. (see screenshot). I made 2 purchases of over $200. I then reached out to customer support and they offered me a $40 credit. I guess they're running fake promotions? It seems very bizarre to me that they can't send the gifts. But I would NOT RECOMMEND this business. I understand the website showing an error, I understand needing to contact customer support. But I don't understand the $40 credit on an almost $400 gift loss.

Do not buy. You will never receive the product (it'll get stuck in transit somewhere for eternity) and they will refuse to refund your money stating" we can't refund an in process order... you can send it back once it gets to you if you want though". Seriously, did I just step into crazy town. Its lost. Also, they'll send you the wrong items, promise to expedite the correct ones, and then turn around and lose those as well. I spent almost 500.00 in 3 separate orders. It's been 5 weeks, I have 1 partial order worth 24.00, and everything else plus it's replacement is left floating out there in the ether somewhere. And they won't give me back my money. Calling my bank today. Seriously people. You can buy cosmetics and anti aging stuff anywhere and it's all the same price. Don't buy from these knuckleheads.
I placed an order with Dermstore in November- plenty of time to receive it before Xmas or so I thought, as some items were for Xmas gifts. They confirmed receipt of my order, charged my credit card, then nothing. I wait and I wait. Finally after coming back from an extended Xmas holiday, I chase them up - "where is my order? You got my money".
Their response: "Oh we canceled your order and didn't ship it, because we're not doing that service anymore."
Well we're you ever going to tell me? What about my refund?...
If I'd not chased up the order then what? You'd just sit on my money thanks very much, in exchange for - oh that's right - nothing!
Dear reader do not use this company. They have no integrity let alone any customer ethos. Where I come from, if you take a customer's order and money and don't deliver the goods, that's stealing.

It is interesting to read all of the other negative reviews related to Dermstore shipping/delivery issues, considering what I have experienced myself. This is by far one of the worst online shipping experiences I have ever had. I never received any tracking or shipment carrier information when my order was confirmed. After calling twice just to get that basic information, I am now on day five of waiting for a "two day" USPS priority mail shipment. There is no current tracking information available, my order has not been delivered, and customer service has been rude and unhelpful. Why are they using USPS anyway for items that cost hundreds of dollars (and when they seem to have a long history here of complaints about unreceived shipments)?
I buy only one thing from Dermstore (my face wash) but only when the prices get too high on Amazon. Two great things about DS. If you add the products you like to your Favorites, then you'll get 10% off during checkout. Shipment is always free with no minimums and very prompt. Besides that, Dermstore is a bit on the expensive side. And they have a nasty habit of discontinuing product lines.
My order shows delivered, via DHL. I don't have my product. Contacted DHL and they won't help. Contacted Dermstore customer service. Waited on the phone for 18 minutes. Got someone that never gave their name, couldn't care less that I didn't receive my product and was very unhelpful. Best they can do is research where my item went. 3-4 days. IF it can't be located then they will provide me a new order. Luckily... I get to wait for AT LEAST another 10 days before receiving what I ordered and paid for days ago. Not likely that I'll ever purchase from here again.
I order a holiday gift set of Olaplex products from Dermstore on November 27,2022. Today is December 9,2022 and my purchase has not been delivered. The tracking number they sent doesn't work and all attempts to reach a representative have been futile. I did finally get an email from "Pissed Consumer" to contact one of their lawyers. Don't buy from Dermstore, Apparently taking your money and providing horrible customer service is fun for this company. I had to give them at least 1 star rating to post my review, they don't deserve even 1.
