I have yet to have any problems with ordering, placing and receiving an order. One time accidentally hit a button to redeem points on my account and I didn't use them for an order and if I recall it deducted those points even though I didn't use my credit for a purchase that particular time. The prices are a bit higher than what you may find at a drug store, but considering why I started purchasing from Dermstore and not from the aesthetics office for a bit cheaper than the competitors I've been able to get what I want shipped directly to my home without the pressure to purchase directly through the spa. They should offer promo codes too, but if you do reviews for products on their site you can get 50 points for being a member. Until I find somewhere else to purchase I will be using Dermstore. I'm not sure what's up with the customer service situation people have complained about, but it's worth checking out the website for yourself. Hope this helps you with your search.
Horrible Horrible experience. I order 3 Obaji medical items. All 3 showed up with the individual boxes being unsealed and obviously had been opened before. I contacted Dermstore and asked for a return label. I sent the required pictures of the products. I was told to just throw items away and I would receive a full refund. When I did not get the refund, I was told to send pictures of the items which was impossible because I threw them away as instructed. Now they deny a refund because I cannot produce pictures. This is a fraudulent vendor that sells returned items.I lost of $200
I purchased some items with this firm and return the products - I chose to refund back to original payment method but they gave me gift card amount instead - which is fine. But they discontinuous the gift card program without any notices and now I am unable to use any amount left in the gift card (couple hundreds dollars). I called ten times about this issue, they keep saying they will come back to me but they never, and today I called, they said my information is incorrect and the customer service is unable to assist me with it. They steal my money!
This was my first (and last) time ordering from DermStore. I order one simple item. The box came a week later labelled correctly with my name & address, but inside was someone else's packing slip and three-item order. I called the company's customer service and talked to the rudest, most arrogant rep I've ever encountered ("April"). Not only did she repeatedly and noisily sniff & snuffle throughout the entire call (cold? Allergies? Get Benadryl and tissues), she not once apologized for the incorrect order and inconvenience, AND interrupted & cut off my questions about the return process. Terrible reflection on the company and how it views customers.
I have given this company 3 tries. I ordered a glytone kit, when I recieved it, the box was damaged and expired. They sent me another kit & pakage color was faded and expired. Upon ordering it is a 2 day shipping, but all my orders have taken 2-3 weeks, without notification. I have wasted time calling dermstore and placed on hold for 20-30 minutes. Beware buyer! Find a retailer near you or another site like sephora that is legit to purchase your skincare.
I ordered several Olaplex items from Dermstore and paid by credit card. When I entered my account I saw that there was a problem with my billing address and that I needed to call Customer Service. I waited well over 25 minutes for them to answer and when they did they told me that the issue was fixed and that they'd process my order. Visited my account the next day and found that nothing had changed; they still claimed that there was a problem with my billing address. Called again, waited over 30 minutes for them to answer. Ended up using a different credit card and was assured that everything was in order. Never received a confirmation email so went back into my account to find that they were still claiming an issue with my credit card.
I cancelled my order and will never shop here again. What a waste of time.
Scammed me. Ordered on 12/21 with promised delivery before 12/25. Paid way extra for expedited shipping. It is now 12/28 with no product. This was my gf's Christmas gift. No customer service. Unable to get a refund. What kind of business promised delivery by Christmas Eve in their FAQs and not only miss the mark but miss it by a mile? It's been more than a week! Why did I pay for 2day delivery?

Placed an order on July 24th it is now Aug 12th and I still don't have it! Customer service said 7-14 days. It's 2019! Who the f*** waits 7-14 days for something to ship? I will never purchase anything for myself or my business off this website again!
This website has the worst customer service and took a month and a half to return my money on one purchase, on another they are only giving me store credit on a 140 purchase. They cannot transfer you to a manager and will not resolve an issue
BeautyFIX is the best box around. Yes, it is more expensive then Sephora Play! Box or Allure, but the quality and diversity of the products are unparalleled. For starters, they carry top brands like Obagi, Skinceuticals (my fave), elta md (best face sunscreen by far). Try their box, you won't be disappointed. The only thing I don't like much - where Sephora beats them by a milestone - is that they offer very cheap free samples with purchase, not the nice 3 free choices that Sephora and Nordstrom do.
I ordered products 19 days ago. I received an email stating the items were out of stock after ordering. You should not charge the customer if you don't actually have the product in stock! It finally shows shipped USPS but I have never received the items. They refuse to resend items until 30 days have passed and won't refund my money. The customer service people are not willing to do anything at all. Clearly the items have been lost in shipping. I had to dispute with my bank since Dermstore will not do the right thing and refund my money. When I ask the "Chat" customer service to send me a service so I can leave a review they say they will after the Chat ends, then never do. I have contacted them 5 times and they do nothing. Just really bad customer service. I will not order from them again!
Customer service does not respond to questions nor does it deliver on its customer service promises that they make. They offer a program called Dermstore Rewards and nowhere on the site or from customer chats can they tell you how to use the dollars you have redemmed. Very disappointed in this site... am thinking about stopping using it.

I understand we're in the middle of a pandemic... but sheesh! I've shipped and received items with little delay! I ordered a product 5/6 and here it is 6/2. Still no product in sight and even with them sending out another product these boxes seem to just vanish. They seem to NEVER make it to USPS. This is my first and last time dealing with this company.
Placed a large order (over $500) in products from this company back in Dec. I still haven't received my items and every time I live chat, call or email I am told items are out for "dispatch" and order can't be canceled. I filed a report with BBB and I will be calling my credit card company to cancel transaction. Save your time and just buy product from trusted source. Their customer service isn't helpful at all. I was able to walk into Sephora and get exactly what I needed.
I do the majority of my shopping online. This by far is the worst site I have ever used. I ordered a product and it was unsatisfactory. I sent it back and I had to call them a couple of times to get my refund and that was almost 4 weeks later. They only give a full refund if you use it as a credit. If you want it back as money they deduct shipping charges. Now I'm trying to order a product to use my credit and I can't get the site to work. It won't load and I have tried 3 computers. When I called to tell someone they said I had to send an email to tell them the problem. What how can I send them an email if I can't get to their site. Ridiculously horrible service! Don't fall for their sales gimmicks you pay for it in the end.

Put in an order, received confirmation and when i got the shipping tracking number it is being shipped to a different address. Called customer service and basically was told it happenss and could be a glitch in their system and for me to call my local post office to make the correction. Clearly their mistake but did nog offer to even try to put a note on the shipment or offer any other assistance. Once they get your money they don't care about good customer service.
It is very likely that my debit card data was stolen from this companies database. I receivced a fraudlant charge that appeared to be from them or an affiliate. The phone number related to the charge was a fake Verizon cell phone. I sent Dermstore a message via live chat and also took the time to call them to explain. They told me that is it impossible that anyone could get access to their system. LOL. You be the judge of that. Even big companies can be hacked. Nevertheless, I will not be ordering from Dermstore again since they would not recognize my situation. Just excuses from them.
Placed an order April 29. Never received at my P.O. Box, which is only available to me. NO other party uses or opens this box. I asked for a replacement and it never came to my P.O. Box (again). It never made it to the post office. Both times I went to the post office with the tracking numbers and paperwork and they said the tracking numbers didn't look right. They entered them anyway and I was told they never received a Dermstore order. I have used this P.O. Box for over 20 years, the post office folks know me and I trust them. Is it the Pandion shipper? The old Dermstore used the USPS. This site is not what it used to be. Asked for a refund, I'll keep you posted if I don't receive it in 30 days. NO more Dermstore purchases for me.

Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing from this store. They charged an additional item to my order without my consent! I called customer service, and if I want a full refund, I either have to pay for shipping of the item I want to return (the item I did not order) or get store credit. I will return both items and pay the shipping charge. I would rather pay a few dollars for shipping and return the items for a full refund, than support a store that obviously, by all the negative reviews, has shady business practices, right? What kind of business adds a product to someone's order without their permission and will not offer a full refund/charge for shipping. I will keep an eye on my credit card to make sure they issue a full refund and I will update this review when I get the refund.

I used to get 2-day free delivery. Then that slowed down. Last time, I ordered in late November, and package still hasn't arrived, and it's December 7. I called and after being on hold for over ten minutes, got a representative. She gave me a tracking number and said it wouldn't be here until December 12.
Still, products are always of good quality and condition, and seem totally authentic.
Another problem, though, is that I've returned a few items, though not recently. I had to call and get an RMA number. Then, I had a return that was mysteriously "lost." After that I got package tracking from USPS. Two orders were "lost" again but miraculously found when I gave them the tracking number and proof of their receipt by USPS.
So now, I only order products I know I want need to return. And with this recent shipping delay, I probably won't order from them again.
Be aware of this company when it offers a free item if they run out, they just want you to make the purchase and could care less if they honor their advertisement of a free item with purchase. I was not aware of this and supervisor never called me back.
Dermstore doesn't generally have the best prices for products on the internet, but they have a wide variety so when I need more than one thing I go ahead and order. It is rare and now it won't be ever again. After I placed all of the items in my cart I noticed not 1, not 2, but THREE magazine subscriptions sitting there as well. Yes, they were "included," but NO I do not care for these even if they are free. I removed them or so I thought and then they were added back into my final order. So when I emailed to have them removed, Dermstore Customer Service replied that they couldn't remove it because it was already processed and I would have to call a separate number to cancel. Just another step in their ploy to hope I forget to make a call, which is something THEY should offer to do for me. Let alone the fact that they should stop this annoying inconvenience to their customers in the first place. I won't return to this website.
I bought something from Dermstore and after I checked out there was an item I did not order. I called them and they said it was too late to cancel that I would have to return it. They sent me an email with supposed return label, but when I clicked on it, it just went to the WebSite Not return label.
I will not be using them again

I love Dermstore! The sight is so super easy to navigate and once I found the exact product I was looking for, I was able to read detailed information about it before I made the decision to purchase it. Once I decided to purchase the transaction was quick and easy, there was no shipping fee, and the product arrived even sooner than I expected. I will be using this sight for all future skincare products down the road - without a doubt.
I placed an order on 12/3/10 and other than receiving a confirmation of my order, haven't received any info on the status - expected ship date? Expected arrival date? I tried calling the 1-800 # and all I got was "goodbye". I tried emailing the customer service address listed in my confirmation email, it was returned undeliverable. Are these people for real?
Most horrible experience I had with ordering online. My order was back ordered and they didn't even have a customer service email. I had to do a stupid "live chat" for them to address my need. Also they don't even have staff to process your return label. They send you a Lin k and you are suppose to fill out 10 questions to generate a stupid return label. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
