I wanted to write this review because the other reviews on this site nearly deterred me from purchasing from Design Dua so I want to provide a counterpoint. I purchased the Moses basket & changing basket combination along with the stand and some extra sheets. My items just arrived, so haven't used with baby yet, but they are well made and beautiful. With the liner in the moses basket, the inside of the basket is very soft. The leather color is as pictured. My order shipped super fast - much faster than I was expecting. I ordered on a Thursday or Friday and everything arrived just a few days later on Wednesday. I was so pleasantly surprised! The prices were very reasonable for handmade products. The company has many positive Etsy reviews which is what eventually swayed me to go ahead with my order but I wanted to leave a positive review on this page.
I received this "handmade" basket after spending over $200 on it. The basket is lop sided, the tag isn't centered (handmade so again, not considered a defect) and my "leather" handles were bright orange. Needless to say, contacting customer service is a waste of time. They will not take ownership in their jacked up basket! Instead I get to pay to have it shipped back and then have my shipping of the original basket taken out of my refund even if it was free shipping as part of a promo with purchasing! Beware people! I'm stuck with a messed up basket!
I loved my Moses pod. Unfortunately, the first time I tried to wash the casing, the zipper totally broke, rendering the Moses pod useless.
I contacted customer service. Since it had been some time since the purchase (I received it before my baby was born), I didn't even expect a refund or replacement. I just wanted to buy a new case, which they apparently do not sell separately. They encouraged me to buy a "cover" which explicitly states in the description that it does not work as a replacement casing. When I pointed that out, they told me the only way to get a new case was to buy a new Moses pod.
So, I spent 80 dollars on a product that lasted for only one baby.
Tip for consumers:
Bad service and they don’t stand behind their products once purchased.

I am so disappointed in Designdua. A changing basket was purchased via my baby registry, and because it was a gift was not realized to have been stolen until 6 weeks after it was purchased. I loved the basket so much, and this is my first baby. The customer service team was extremely untimely. I had to reach out numerous times, and when they did finally get back to me they basically told me that they wanted nothing to do with helping me. Route, the insurance that the gift giver paired extra for, only covers the first two weeks, which I'm sure 9 out of 10 times is outside when most recipients of gifts finally feel comfortable enough asking the gift giver to track the package as it's rude. The care team had absolutely no care for me even though it would have been so simple to send a new basket. I have no respect for the way they handle business now. Might as well have gone to a large company if I wanted to be treated like just a number.
We purchased the item from a gift registry. When it arrived, we simply had 2 baskets. Yes, nice quality, but how do I get a bassinet with no base. It shows it in the photo. I understand the display has to look nice to sell, but I ordered a bassinet. I did not know they came without legs or a base. I am disappointed in the product but it is a gift that my family had on her registry. I hope she knows she is getting 2 baskets. I still may check with customer service. Shipping was prompt though.

This "business" charged our credit credit card and shipped us something. The courier never delivered it despite the address being a commercial mail receiving facility open during business hours. The package was returned to the sender because it was never delivered. We had to threaten a chargeback to get them to refund us, it was a fight. Following this there were 6-7 emails back and forth about why they can't refund the shipping fee.
The customer purchased an item as a gift for someone else. The item was shipped to the recipient and we were contacted by the recipient that they could not receive the item from Fedex because they traveled overseas. They stated that they would not be back for over a week so Fedex should return the package to our warehouse. We explained that we will be unable to refund shipping fee and asked if it could be forwarded to someone else for them. The recipient did not wish for us to do this and we explained that upon return back to the warehouse the shipping fee can not be refunded. The recipient agreed. Upon receipt the customer (who purchased the gift) was refunded for the item which the giftee did not want to receive. He contacted us upset that the item was not delivered. The gift recipient was not available to receive the item and asked for us to proceed this way. There was no fight or threat of chargeback in order to refund, we received the items and refunded according to the return policy. All funds were refunded except the shipping fee. Thank You

Purchased the Ark bassinet and was so pleased with the quality and how timeless this piece is. Really appreciated that this particular basket came with a lining, pad, and pad cover. Will definitely be keeping the basket for years to come
I chose the Ark bassinet because I liked that the handles hung below the basket, they aren't stiff like the leather ones. It was a huge selling point that the Ark bassinet was more affordable and came with the bedding.
This basket has been the baby item that i was most excited to purchase and receive! It is so beautiful i want to cry when i look at it! I was nervous that because i was so excited i wasn't sure if i had built it up too much in my head, but it arrived so quickly and was even more beautiful in person! It did not disappoint!
I researched soooo many moses baskets before i found design dua and the simplicity and classic design was exactly what i was looking for!
From the customer service, to the product, everything was absolutely excellent! I highly recommend the Afia Changing Basket, it is exactly as described and beautiful! My inquiry was responded to same day and the shipping was quick from the time I ordered. Great company to work with!
I was super excited after reading good reviews to purchase a mattress pad however when I received the mattress it was very hard and uncomfortable. I never used it just felt it and when asking to return I was told I couldn't do to opening. How can I feel material without opening? Very unfortunate and unprofessional.
It asked me to review the website after ordering, as for that I liked that the cart kept the items when I left the bowser. As a busy mom it took me a few days to place the order lol
I also loved how simple the website is, and the detailed photos, descriptions and FAQ's.
As for the doll bassinet, it's so cute and beautiful. The brand tag wasn't sewn on centered though so that's annoying for my brain to process every time I look at it.
We had ordered another moses basket bassinet online from a boutique in Canada, super excited, and when it came we were soooo disappointed. We were surprised to find Design Dua's online when we returned the other one, that it was still less expensive than the other one, WITH a bonus lounger pod... and better quality!
Because it looked like awesome quality AND reputable.
Because it had the lounger included, so we wouldn't have to buy a bassinet basket and a lounger separate. And a great price for such good quality compared to the one we tried first.

I've gotten so many compliments on the Dua Design Moses Pod and now liner. I bought a basket from a friend whose mom handmakes baskets to the same measurements as Dua and other makers and the liner and pod for well enough.
Looked like good quality and I kept seeing it through Facebook marketplace

I ordered the waterproof cover for my changing pad, under the impression it would fit, as per the description. It is too tight, and is compressing the pad.

We are sad to see we were unable to satisfy you with our service. We stand behind all our products and parts but unfortunately, the actual pod was broken after use. The purchase was made over one year ago. It was not just the additional cover, which we do sell and would happily send to our customer. The additional covers for the moses pod can not replace the original casing for the cushion. We advised the customer that although this could help it was not advisable due to safety reasons.
