Oct 2024. The 1st day when i received the vaccum I was not able to get the vaccum working, kept prompting to put back to the base for self cleaning. I had it self cleaning 3 times and still cannot get it to start vaccum. I left the water in the clean container and next day water leak onto the charging base and floor. Lucky i had taken the plug out else it might have causes electrical shock (safety issue).
Later i find another reviewer at Amazon complained the same water leakage problem. How i wish i had saw her review earlier. I sent back the unit in original packaging nicely packed together with the accessories. Dibea return a shabby packaging with a wet and dirty unit back and did not return the new accessories e.g cleaning brush, cleaning solution and extra roller. There was no report attach regarding their finding. They simply just return the unit without cleaning it. It was filled with wet dust and debris. The after service from dibea was laborious and time consuming.
P.S: I tried to ask for refund from Lazada but was been rejected due to i open the packaging to test the vaccum even though i did not use it. Even the unit is not working as intended lazada will not refund. Dibea is also unable to refund as the unit was purchased from e-commerce platform. Dibea feedack refund can only process through Lazada. Lesson learnt some products are better off purchase from physical store.
Follow up review 21-11-2024. Dibea service center gave 2 follow up calls today after i sent them my feedback last night. They found the root cause of the water leakage and replaced the component. Apparently they wrongly packed my unit into a different packaging box and my accessories was still with them inside the original box. They will arrange to ship it back to me. And on top they will add one more set of cleaning solution, HEPA filter and roller brush. As the unit was delivered back in loose packaging, fearing the transportation might have cause some unseen damage, i request for extension of the warranty which they agreed and extended 6 mth for the battery. I was relief that this time they took my feedback seriously and they will use this as an opportunity to improve their processes and prevent such occurrences in the future.
Tip for consumers:
Always take extra time to study other consumers review before placing any order especially via other e-commerce shopping platform. Taking picture or video of the product during unboxing and testing or returning to record all the evident to back you up.
