I have bought countless tools from them only had one fail at first use. I took it back expecting the usual consumer run around, but to my surprise in 10 minutes I left with a new tool. I have ordered online a few times no issues and speedy delivery. All in all a 10 out of 10.
They will not support their products more than 7 days after receipt of the shipment. So if you receive the package and wait a few days to try the product and it doesn't work you are out of luck! They offer no support at all. I received a chainsaw and I didn't use it for a couple of weeks. It did not work out of the box. Their response was sorry we only support our products for 7 days after receipt. They are a terrible company, buyer beware

I have purchased from Direct Tools Factory Outlet a number of times and have not had a problem. I believe mostly due to buying items that are categorized as factory blemished tools. I purchased a Miter Saw Stand that was categorized reconditioned. Unfortunately with this purchase, my experience with their customer service has left much to be desired. The original Stand Delivered can in a broken box and was missing the required hardware to complete assembly. I raised an issue with Direct Tools Factory Outlet support and the staff's lack of attentiveness and professionalism was disappointing. I have encountered a disorganized and chaotic response with staff members seemingly more preoccupied blaming Ridgid than attending to some sort of workable solution. Despite my attempts to seek assistance, the response from the staff was indifferent and unhelpful. Furthermore, when I inquired about my order, I was met with a dismissive attitude from the representative, who seemed disinterested in addressing my questions or providing any meaningful assistance. This lack of engagement and willingness to assist customers was deeply concerning and reflected poorly on the store's commitment to customer satisfaction. The subpar customer service I experienced at Direct Tools Factory Outlet was a significant letdown. As a customer, I value understand that things happen. I sincerely hope that the management takes proactive steps to address these service issues and prioritize the training and development of their staff to ensure a more positive customer experience in the future.
Tip for consumers:
Just a terrible experience, I am beyond frustrated and inconvenienced. I spent to much of my own time trying to chase this down.

Ordered some Ryobi items. Order was placed on May 21,2021. Two weeks later the items still haven't shipped. They have plenty in stock items. The order has just a FedEx "Label Created" status. I called these useless people 3 times and also emailed them. Still no change or resolution. They already charged my credit card. Stay away from this outfit. You are better off buying directly from Home Depot or Lowes during their sale events.
You may save a few dollars, but you will be waiting forever for your order to arrive. I ordered from them before and the orders are always far too late, and the shipment is packed horribly. Always damaged boxes. Forget about the customer service. Even trying to get hold of a Manager or who is the decision maker is impossible. No one gives you a correct answer over the phone. Waste of time and aggravating to have to deal with. Apparently they DO NOT CARE about customers after the sale.
Tip for consumers:
Shipping time is horrible - virtually no customer service. Not worth it.
Buyer Beware
Ryobi blem changed 3 times in 3 days, from $209 to $126. Cost to cancel is pay return shipping and lose 20% restocking fee. No adjustment of price 3 days after purchase.
I also noted that most items were only a 10% discount, though the warranty is not through Ryobi and it is reduced to 1 year.
Buyer Beware
Tip for consumers:
There are a lot of complaints against this company, across the internet. There are bad reviews on the BBB, Reddit Tools, Yelp, this site and more.
I wish I had researched the company before purchase.

After you order online can or will take up to a month to receive. When you go to direct tools website status board you might find any random status based on the day of the week. If or when you get the item it might come in one day, over several days or not at all. If you are able to talk with FedEx about a status, you've won the lotto. Your final option; after waiting a month, request a refund or wait another month and hope the item you expected for Christmas arrives before the start of Summer.

They cancel my order because it was too cheap, they lie saying it was not in stock, then they said they just got it today and want to sell it for you more expensive, what a joke with them, I like some Ryobi tools but not the people that manage this stores, my purchase was made to pick it on Wisconsin dells.
I placed the order on June 27 and received a cancellation this morning (July 1). I placed the order during their 50% off sale and the items are still in-stock on their website - they are more expensive now, of course. Would be nice to get the items I ordered at the price I paid.
Buyer beware. All Direct Tools wants is your hard earned money. Some of the tools they sell are good, especially Ridgid, but if you have any issues there is no customer service or support. Spend your money with a company that cares about the customer before, during, and after the sale. Stay away from Direct Tools.
Tip for consumers:
This site works well. I made my review based on not just lack of customer service by Direct Tools but total absence of customer service. Want to warn individuals considering purchasing at DT.

Not a good experience for me. I tried using them to get a Ryobi leaf blower and battery that was a "factory blemish" and was sent an unusable item with the handle thread bolt stipped the plastic inside that held the other side of the bolt so I could not even insert the battery. I had to go through two reps repeating my entire problem and they never emailed the return shipping label but after contacting them again I received it. Then instead of replacing the blower as I asked, after they had my returned item for ten days, the just issued a refund instead so after about seventeen days I had no tool to do what I needed to do, even though when they received my blower they still had the item showing in stock. If you look them up in BBB you will see a lot of complaints so I wish I looked there before letting them waste my time and gasoline. Big thumbs down!

I purchased a battery powered tool bundle and after having used several of the tools, I found that one of the 2 batteries were bad so I requested to have the battery replaced. They informed me that that was not possible and I would need to do a return on the entire bundle. I did so and still have not received a replacement 7 weeks later. I have to call every week or 2 weeks and explain the entire situation twice (because they transfer me to "management") just to be told that they are escalating the issue to the warehouse and I should call back again in a week. They have no remorse for the poor customer service and just proclaim that this is all they can do and tell me a lot of "hopefully" and "they should..." and "probably" phrases. I have asked to speak with a manager and just to find that I am speaking to a manager and nothing can be done. The tools themselves were fine but based on my experience, if you have any need to work with customer service, don't expect any accountability or resolution.

During a 45% off sale, they raised prices on all link wall items by 1 penny above retail price. Place yellow stickers on all of them so they wouldnt qualify for sale discount. I told them items cheaper at home depot and i get 10 percent off for my miltary service.

Beware deceptive sale practice

There's is one problem with this company though that they are using FedEx to shipped to tell you one thing. All the other reviews are from people who ordered online and instead doing pick up at store which you should always go this route if you can. But if you can't pray to God you don't get low paid FedEx employee who already gave up on FedEx cause he got 200 more stops since last time. FedEx is worst than Amazon. Yes they treat there workers like slaves. To be cruelty free don't use FedEx plz directtoolsoutlet overall good company. Got Ryobi edger for 30 dollars
Purchased some refurbished tools from them that looked brand new. Other than being perhaps a little slow in shipping I've had nothing but good experiences with Direct Tools Outlet.
Tip for consumers:
Keep an eye out for their 25-30% off sale plus they occasionally have free shipping.
