I've been a customer with Discount Mags (DM), for close to 15 years. I only use DM for all my subscriptions, and there are many. If I have an issue they take care of it. DM is not local, for me, but that doesn't prevent them from rectifying the issue at hand.
In August of 2023 I requested an address change with discount magazine for national geographic for kids. This was for my grandson. I have received several emails regarding the delay but as of February of 2024 my grandson has still not received the magazine at the new address. What can be so hard about an address change. My next choice is to cancel the subscription and start a brand new one. I think they should be able to handle that. I don't understand the confusion, it's never been this difficult before.
From finding the magazine you want to paying for it, they don't make the experience easy. The only + is that their prices are ALMOST worth the hassle.
Was able to purchase subscriptions during a holiday sale which was nice. Its annoying that we have to play this game in order to get the best price.
Have had to call twice because magazines ordered in October have never been received. Very disappointed
It wasn't clear that books are treated differently than magazines. I'd never shopped with you before so that's OK.

I have been a customer of Discount Mags for a long time. No problems that their excellent customer service didn't handle. My main magazine supplier.
It was a little difficult to order and I don't like that automatic price lock to renew the magazines I understand the concept but I think the customer should have the option...
Have ordered many magazines from Discountmags.com over several years. I continue to use it because of the several thousand magazines offered, the prices are almost (but not always) the lowest and most important, I can rely on them to always deliver a first issue within 7-8 weeks. In the rare cases where there are delays they reply to my inquiry fast and follow up with a date certain. Their website allows me to see all my active subscriptions and when they are due for renewal. Email notice of renewal comes at least two weeks before the end so I have plenty of time to make a decision. An important feature is setting a "Discount Lock" at first subscription or renewal, so Discountmags agrees to renew for me at the current price even if the publisher increases the price. There is no charge for this, and it does not commit me to renew. I get notified at renewal and can renew or not. On the website I can see all subscriptions for which I have set a Discount Lock and can cancel it at any time.
Tip for consumers:
Consider trying the Discount Lock feature. Try asking a routine question and see how fast their Customer Service responds.

Currently have at least 8 magazine subscriptions with discountmags.com. I do everything with them online so I do not get a paper receipt to scan and verify thios.
The ordering process was easy and we started receiving our magazines in the timeframe we were promised.
Ordering was simple and easy to send subscription as a gift to my grandchildren. Prices were better than I found elsewhere. Thanks!
Dunno there's much to add to my title which sums it up but matters most. If they have the magazine you seek, you won't find better place to buy it for less.

$19.95 gone, no reply no notification, no communication. Don't be another victim of this business!

I ordered a subscription and then I received a gift subscription so I had to cancel mine. I emailed the company & they refunded my C/C within a day!
Customer Service rep was outstanding. Very helpful, always positive and assisted me with what I need.

Like many other reviewers, my magazine subscription did not appear as soon as it should have. When Discount Mags checked on it for me, I did receive my first issue soon after that.
Discount Mags, would be better if they would notify you in advance about renewal dates that are automatic.
Ordering process was completely fine. Just waiting to receive the magazine yet. I hope to get it soon😊

Being in the wine business, i like to stay update to date with wine magazines. DiscountMags has a pretty good selection and they're my go to for magazines.
I couldn't find a particular magazine on their website and wrote to Customer Service for help. The next day I received the links and followed up. Extremely impressive!
I'd been wanting to get a subscription to the Economist for years, but it was always beyond my means. DiscountMags finally made it possible.
They were very prompt at responding to me, to let me know there would be at least a 6 week wait for delivery of magazine. They were very kind.
