No customer service and no one seems to know how to fix account problems. When you try to respond to their reply they tell you "this case is closed" and if you want more "help" (not) you need to start over again from scratch with a new unknowledgeable person who doesn't seem to know how to help or fix problems. Don't you want my business? I guess not? Perhaps you already have all the business you need? Unbelievable hoop jumping and gaslighting and refusing to acknowledge there is a problem and then blaming the customer. Your website will not allow me to update my payment method. I have tried every which way to do this and it still will not work. I've done it the correct way, but your website will not work. It's you, domain.com, and not me, with the problem! Where do I go to get a domain hosting service that doesn't gouge with ridiculous charges?

I would have given a better rating should I not have had to request 2 refunds for the Google Workspace that was never activated on the portal. Should have been tested prior to offering it to me. I spent way too much time waiting for your developers to fix the portal then more time trying to get a refund, etc.

I seem have a lot of trouble with this website from time to time. I have a hard time linking my email address to my phone so that is very inconvenient. I also wish that you could import another website design to take over the editing aspect.

We do not like the fact that there is no one that we can talk to. Chatting is not what we signed up for and originally, you all provide live contact. We are discouraging people from using domain.com for web hosting as a result. Also, we do not like the fact that when we are on auto renewal you renew well before expiration and when we renew manually, we get these anoying emails threatening that we are going to loose our domain name.

I have never had such bad customer service in all the years I've dealt with tech-support chat lines. They escalate your problem or tell you it is and still nothing happens. I set up three new emails on Google workspace and no one at domain.com. Can get them LinkedIn activated. It's been over a month tonight. I just spent two hours on a chat line because they sent me an email saying I had to verify ownership of my domain. When I tried it won't let me finally the chat says I don't need to do anything here. I'm thinking the escalation is finally been resolved. I could go on and on, but it's such a waste of time. Don't use their service.

Excellent Customer Service

Unlike other services after passing the
'Bot's' initial Chat - I found chatting to a real person fairly immediate ie. Not having to wait longer that 45mins mins mostly.

However, I was given the wrong information that led to me to taking my website elsware and just keeping my domain name with domain.com -

The new interface is awful to navigate through. It makes it easy to buy products but difficult to use the products after purchased. The tutorials given by customer service no longer apply since the interface has changed; it seems management has failed to train customer service reps using the new interface platform therefore they cannot efficiently help or guide customers using it. In addition, your team will not generate the CSR information in order to for the validation process to begin for my SSL certificate. It has been 2 weeks and still cannot get the SSL created - Try again today. Lastly, Many Glitches!

After your interface upgrade my company has experienced nothing but problems from your service. Its unacceptable that domain.com does not even offer an email of chat logs and instead suggests I take a screen shot of my chats with your customer support! This experience has made us reevaluate our continued use of domain.com and we had decided that another domain registrar offers far superior support and we are now working on a migration plan to end our relationship with Domain.com

Terrible support
August 17, 2023

I turned off the auto renewal in-time yet they still charged me. I've contacted the support, talked with 3 advisors and none of them were helpful and refused to provide me a refund. I did not use their service and I went to ask for a refund right after they've charged me. Extremely disappointed as I've expected better support from such a site.

In conclusion, they have no rightful ethics and doesn't seem to care about customer satisfaction at all, and gladly taking the online backlash that could have been avoided with a 30 dollar refund.

(Have used this service for many years just so you know.)

Domain.com was initially very responsive and took my money for website builder and hosting. Despite purchasing an SSL certificate twice now on top of website builder and hosting package, my website remains not secure, and customer service reps refuse to respond to my live chat and email inquiries. I even reached out to the CEO on LinkedIn; again with no response. Such a horrible customer service. And now I am stuck. Stay away form doman.com

I have been with domain.com since 2019 and it was a really painful experience. Many issues - from losing an entire website and email account due to an interruption in automatic payment that I have not done myself, but was due to a bug on domain.com's side. To issues of SSL not being activated, payments that show up in paypal but don't show up on the billing page on domain.com, etc. etc. I am sorry to say, but I am not satisfied with the services, and I find domain.com to be unreliable and a liability to my business.

The new website update is terrible! Your website used to be user friendly, now it's no longer useful and is almost impossible to use. You can't find anything anymore on the website, and customer service chat is NOT and no longer helpful. If these issues aren't resolved, I plan to no longer use domain.com because it's a HUGE waste of time trying to use your website. Now your website is nothing more than a sales pitch.

This is my first experience with a web host that used templates. In looking at the code, there is much more code than I have expected. I have a great deal of experience creating from scratch a web page/site and uploading it to the domain on the server. I haven't looked for a tutorial on this provider yet but will.

I purchased SSL

I purchased SSL. But due to some server error on your side (see case E-*******), it could not be implemented. Your server admins asked that I cancel it and then repurchase it. When I try to repurchase it, it gives me an error message. I contacted your support, and they said that I should clear my cache and try again in an hour. I did so, and as I predicted, I got the same error message. All I want to do is have my website SSL enabled. That's a very basic fundamental thing. Nothing fancy. Your terrible system has been unable to do that for me.

Since Domain.com has canceled its free ssl with the website starter the websites don't work meaning that our customer can NOT view our website. I have been telling representatives that its not the website, its because your engineers should have informed not to canceled anything until your engineers was able to map the platform so the ssl would work on the new platform.

I have a lot of trouble with my weI have been using this hosting service for a while now, and unfortunately, I have encountered a lot of trouble with my website hosting. There have been frequent downtimes and technical issues that have been incredibly frustrating to deal with. While the customer service team is polite, the recurring problems with the hosting have made it difficult for me to maintain my website smoothly. I hope they can address these issues promptly, as the potential for a great service is there, but my current experience has been less than satisfactory.bsite hosting.

At Domain.com's request, I bought Microsoft 365 directly from Microsoft and Domain.com was to cancel my month-to-month 365 through them which I had for 3 years. When I tried to connect my new 365 to my old email I got an error saying there is another account at Domain.com with that email, so no connection allowed. Domain.com support tried numerous things to fix it and nothing works. The situation has been escalated and Domain.com also contacted Microsoft for help. I have contacted Domain.com support 12 times in the last 17 days plus numerous calls to Microsoft support. Meanwhile, no business email, no appointments booked on my calendar, and no email communication in or out with clients, leads or people I need to work with. No one seems in a rush to solve this. I only get answers like "Wait 24 hours and someone will get back to you" which they don't. I have no faith in this company.
