Dormco desk topper arrived quickly, it was priced lower than other sites & was easy to assemble with no need for tools. I give it two thumbs up! This site has a great variety of products available to make your new home away from home more comfortable and organized without breaking the bank!

I ordered two of the Gray Headboards with Crystals embedded. They arrived quickly and securely wrapped. We have not set them up yet BUT they are exactly as described and even nicer in person. You will not be disappointed.

First time to purchase from dormco. Ordered dolly for transport of dorm items. Delivered badly damaged and without the "legs" to hold transported items-only sent with the handle. I have pictures. Contacted listed customer service number but they will only talk to you if you want to purchase more items-will only email you if you have product issues. Received email that stated it will probably come in second shipment-why would they send a very small dolly in 2 shipments? It won't arrive in that shipment (already on its way supposedly) and I will probably never see a refund. Stay away! They don't care about their customers I promise you!

Received futon ordered. Paid for expedited shipping. Received item in box that has been taped up repeatedly. There is a hole in box and when futon pulled out, there is a hole in the fabric. Contacted customer service, sent pictures as requested and was told they deemed hole would not affect structural integrity. That's it. Offered 20% back on credit card. This futon is a gift. So I am supposed to just tell the recipient "don't worry about the hole - it won't affect the structural integrity"? No offer to exchange and replace. Stay away - buy your college needed items elsewhere.

I purchased a DormCo Club Chair for Christmas 2020 for my son's dorm thru Overstock. He brought it home with him this summer and I noticed that the bottom piece of fabric was completely ripping apart. This didn't happen overnight. I contacted Overstock who were not able to help me since they did not have a replacement part. Even though it was past the 30 days, I explained that it was at his dorm, 6 hours away. Still no help from Overstock so I then contacted Dormco and after going back and forth, the representative told me that if I was able to get Overstock to release the issue to them, them would be able to help. After several calls and emails, I finally got that to happen and Dormco did nothing! Ignored my emails. There is no phone number for customer service either. It was a complete waste of my time. What an awful company. They clearly sell very low quality products but have no regard for their customers.

I resent having to give them even one star in order to review.
Intentionally misleading product description. Contacted company, who, instead of issuing a refund, defended their decision to call melamine-wrapped particle-board "wood". It's no more wood than ground beef ensconced in Saran-wrap is a cow.
Please file complaints with the FTC when companies deceive and harm you. Truth in advertising is a business principal worth defending.

I love my ultra plush sheets! Feels like I'm sleeping on a cloud or a cocoon of softness each night. I don't even need a blanket because I just use the loose sheet as one. It might get a little too hot during summer but makes your winters soo cosy! 10/10, would 100% recommend!

Dormco charges extra for "expedited" delivery but the items do not deliver within the expedited delivery window. If you want to return something because it didn't deliver in time, you're stuck paying return shipping charges on bulky items made from heavy MDF particle board that costs a fortune to ship back. Dormco won't honor delivery window timeframe and basically just tells you, "that's your problem." I would never shop here again. Zero stars.

DormCo has a ton of unique products at great prices! The quality is fabulous for the prices and everything came on time. Although you have to create an account to purchase items, it was quick and easy. I will be shopping here again!

Also great price. This item was on sale because of the orange cushion covers, but my nephew loved it and it fits perfectly under the bed when folded. No problems with delivery, it arrived sooner than expected.

They get zero stars not even worth one star
Self locking trunk came damaged with missing pieces would not issue a refund unless I paid for shipping $45 for a $90 product. I let them mail me another only to find illegible directions and not instructions on self locking mechanism. Called customer service only to be told the warehouse would call me back they're busy! Customer service rep Olivia was nasty and rude... never order from them cheaper isn't better so disgusted!

These Coma Inducer sheets truly earn their name! They are so soft, warm and cozy. I bought these for my son's dorm room, but when he opened them, my hubby felt them and immediately insisted that we purchase a set for our bed as well as each of the other kids' beds. I believe I also saw that he had added it to two names on our Christmas list! The item arrived quickly and fits his dorm bed perfectly!

We have not set up my son's dorm yet so I do not have photos. But I could not believe how fast I received my items! Like in 2 days! I purchase the tall shelf for over fridge and a black headboard. Both seem to be really good quality! Will be coming back when my daughter leaves in 2 years! Also I feel like if I need anything last minute I can still order now!

I work at a university campus, as an international advisor. During our international orientation, when students first get here, they don't usually pack bedding since they are traveling internationally. So, I always order from this website and pick some fun options for them to choose from for their bedding in their new on campus room. They enjoy the options and have had generally positive feedback for me about the product. I especially like the bedding options from this last order. It is affordable, but decent quality, with some fun designs.

The mini futon is great! It's the perfect size for my little room. It's easy to assemble and it's cute. There is enough room at the bottom for some baskets as well. The softness could be better but it's great after a long day.

Now for the bad part... which I don't think is dormco's fault. The package was pierced in several places, which luckily didn't damage the product. But it did make a mess of the silica gels on my carpet.

If the package wasn't damaged, I'd give it a 4 star rating.

My daughter and I ordered the silver birch gathered ruffles comforter. When we received it, it was not at all the color pictured and the absolute cheapest quality you can imagine - a lot of ripped out stitching, super thin and rough material. It was out of the package maybe 1 hour. I spent $18 to send it back. They refused to give me a refund because there "was a hair on it". I'm sorry I have hair! I did not know I needed a hair net to view my items! Absolutely ridiculous!

Just recently purchased dorm bedding for my daughter. One of everything! Sheets, headboard, skirt, etc. Somehow though it showed I ordered 2 comforters. Received email that it had shipped and I would be responsible for charges to return. Be careful. If you don't like something you are responsible for all the payment of shipping it back.

Our experience with DormCo, unfortunately, mirrors that of many others, now that we have looked at the reviews. Shoddy products, and really outrageous return policy. Save your $$ and aggravation, and avoid this seller like the plague.

The trunk arrived fast but was of lesser quality than I expected. The front closing latch is bent and cannot be locked. One back hinge is missing four screws, and they're only 3/8 of an inch long! One screw has gone in sideways, was left stuck. The wood has split on the back of the trunk, very thin wood. We're replacing all the hardware on this trunk... after adding some inside wood support. The good news is that it's very light and easy to move. I would return but it's not worth the cost.

The sofa doesn't seem to allow you to sink into it, rather you sit right on top very aware of the shapes in the design. I imagine you just have to break it in (?) don't know if that's how furniture works, but it's NOT uncomfortable! Works PERFECTLY in my dorm! Though definitely pricey..

This is my second time using Dormco.com. My daughter ordered a bookshelf from Dormco but then found out that another family member had the item for her. We tried to call to cancel the order and were told there is no one available via phone to discuss this and that we would have to email. We emailed the situation and received a no despite the fact that the item has not shipped and will not be placed in the dorm for over a month. I tried to call again and was again told there is no manager or anyone available to discuss exchanging the item via phone. I will use companies like Amazon going forward since they have much better and responsive customer service.

A little too wide for the only area that could house the fridge. Now I am trying to return the unit and it's been a challenge. I am supposed to put a note in the box, but if I open the box it is not returnable... so the emails tell me. They don't have live customer service. I get referred back to the chat or the email system when I ask for help with the return. Not the easiest online experience, nor one I would repeat.

I had to order the extra long 48" bedskirt because the normal dorm size not back in stock till 2020! More than 5 mo is pretty ridiculous but will make the long one work. Just not my first choice. Shipped in extremely small fed ex envelope type package - why?
