I bought a bubblegum pink dorm trunk for my granddaughter to take with her when she goes to college in the fall. She loves it! Big enough to hold lots of clothes and other items but not too big for a dorm room. Very well built—can use it as a seat!
First time to purchase from dormco. Ordered dolly for transport of dorm items. Delivered badly damaged and without the "legs" to hold transported items-only sent with the handle. I have pictures. Contacted listed customer service number but they will only talk to you if you want to purchase more items-will only email you if you have product issues. Received email that stated it will probably come in second shipment-why would they send a very small dolly in 2 shipments? It won't arrive in that shipment (already on its way supposedly) and I will probably never see a refund. Stay away! They don't care about their customers I promise you!
Have ordered items for my college kids and have always been pleased with the price and quality. Lots of items to choose from.
My large order was missing a small $5 item and the company refused to ship a replacement item or give me a credit

I shopped at DormCo one time and never again! They do not stand behind the products they sell, and they care more about their ridged policies than customer satisfaction. There are so many wonderful online companies to shop with these days that will do what it takes to make their customers happy, and returning. DormCo is NOT one of them, and I would recommend you to shop elsewhere.
In a nutshell, I ordered a trunk from them (among a large order of many other things) for my daughter's first time in a dorm room. It all arrived well packaged and without damage to the shipping box. However, the trunk was damaged because it was of such poor quality, and not as described on their website! Their website described it as a trunk that could be used to lock up valuables, but the "locking" hardware (if you could call it that) was broken off and very cheaply made. Even if it had arrived intact it would not take much to break it off. Part of the wood the trunk is made of was also broken off.
DormCo has refused to pay for the return shipping on the damaged trunk unless I agree to have them ship me another one of the exact same poor quality item. They wouldn't even let me pay the difference for a more expensive trunk in exchange instead, unless I also paid for the return shipping of the damaged, (not as described on their website) item. Furthermore, they lead me to believe that they would accommodate my request to upgrade my purchase and supply the return shipping label for the damaged item, not once, but three times! After several emails and phones calls to resolve this, they ultimately went back on their word! They claimed I misunderstood, but I'm no idiot, and I promise you I didn't misunderstand. They blatantly mislead and lied to me. It's unacceptable, fraudulent, and very shameful for a company that talks about the fun of dorm room shopping on their website.
Easy to shop and fast shipping - great items for the college student and at good prices. Would recommend to any student.
We were looking for a comfy chair with enough room for our daughter and a fur baby and this chair is perfect. My daughter absolutely loves it.
It doesn't fit very well. The elastic is pulling very taut to get it to fit, so I expect they will tear off soon.
If the quality and durability of the product is as good and efficient as the order process, I will definitely use and refer this company again!

They refuse to take returns, don't be fooled. Dormco is quick to send but absolutely rigid and refuse to exchange or accept returns.
