I order boxes from the ship home, ship to college program for a move that I was planning because I was transferring school. When I received the boxes two of the large boxes were terribly damaged. When called customer service I initially was just calling about my shipping label that were included in the purchase and at the end of call I remembered the boxes and said something about how damaged they were. The rep I talked to was named Lauren and her response to my mentioning the damaged boxes was; "okay." I was already fed up with the company I just left it alone and tried to patch the boxes. Well while my boxes were shipping through UPS one of packages was damaged and my items were lost! I called dormco to inquire about a full refund for the entire purchase cause I basically got scammed. Lauren answered my call and insisted that she did not remember our first call and that I did not mention damaged boxes in the call I asked to talk to a supervisor and she just about refused to transfer my call until I insisted and kept saying a supervisor wasn't available but I told her I'll wait the supervisor answer immediately. When I talked to supervisor she basically said the same thing about there being no records of a call about damaged boxes and that I would only receive the claim insurance for the package. Really! They're liars and scammers at this company. I highly suggest no order from them. They will rip you off and lie about anything when you complain!

My daughter and I ordered the silver birch gathered ruffles comforter. When we received it, it was not at all the color pictured and the absolute cheapest quality you can imagine - a lot of ripped out stitching, super thin and rough material. It was out of the package maybe 1 hour. I spent $18 to send it back. They refused to give me a refund because there "was a hair on it". I'm sorry I have hair! I did not know I needed a hair net to view my items! Absolutely ridiculous!

They mistakenly called their Rustica Portugal soft denim stone washed twin xl "quilt", a quilt. It is not a quilt at all! It is a $74.95 decorative cotton bedsheet at best. It is a single layer of fabric, with frayed edges, that is less than 1/8" thick. Any widely accepted definition of a quilt is, "... made of two layers of fabric with some soft substance, as wool or down, between them and stitched in patterns or tufted through all thicknesses in order to prevent the filling from shifting." Customer service is horrible! There was only one person to talk to and she said she was the "cust service supervisor"... she refused to accept responsibility of their mislabeled product. They want to charge me shipping to ship this mislabeled product back to them. DO NOT BUY from these unscrupulous sellers... there are too many other places to buy stuff from. Buy from a recognized retailer who will stand behind their products. Nothing worse than buying from a company who refuses to own up to a mistake and do right by the customer

I was so overwhelmed with what to buy my daughter for her freshman year dorm room. Fortunately, Dormco.com had everything she needed. I ordered the dorm room essentials bundle for a very reasonable price. I received my package an amazing five days later! Everything was beautifully packed, all of my items were there, all of the colors were correct, and most of all my daughter was happy. I have two more children to send off to college in the future, so I know where to go next time to get their dorm room essentials.

All the products I received were very nice. However, the ordering process was very complicated and time consuming. It was very difficult and annoying to have to look through all the pictures and then choose an item. The trunk I received while also very nice was slightly damaged around the latches. One of the smaller latches was completely broken and the other small latch dont not even close. Only the middle large latch works properly. But other than that everything in the order was good and I was happy with
