I ordered a size 12 because I was a size 12 and they were very loose and comfortable on me, thinking I could always have it taken in if I needed to. Then I lost 20 pounds while waiting for the dress to come and it says size 12 but I cannot even zip it all the way. Their sizes are not accurate for US customers.

Extremely cozy, I have been wearing this since it arrived, I love the soft chiffon, it is perfect for wearing in this draughty house, and outside too. Fantastic and very friendly service. I was surprised that the edges weren't hemmed but then I realized it was in the description, and it doesn't seem to fray. Love it, thanks so much :)

I ordered a dress on June 7th for a last minute wedding for my daughter in law for the end of August. Said it would be shipped between June 25 and July 1. On July 3rd I emailed asking about it. They took forever to get back to me and then said it would be ready soon. So I wait 3 more weeks... stool nothing. I email them again, again it takes forever for them to get back to me and tell me now it won't be till the middle of August, but i can cancel the order if i want. Really? You do this to someone knowing its their wedding dress? I would never ed Dr do business with them again!

I can't say enough about this dress! I ordered this for my wedding and it was prefect! I did order one size bigger and it fit like a glove. I enjoyed their 8% off for my full-figured dress, you won't believe that casue other sites will charge you more for plus size orders! I also ordered a 6 hoop petticoat which really helped make the dress. I can't stress the importance of getting the hoops! I'm 5'6" and 215 lbs. I ordered a size 20 and with the hoops, the dress touched the ground which was a little cumbersome as I kept stepping on it. I had flip flops underneath because you couldn't see them anyways and I got married in Vegas so it was hot. The dress came in a tiny bag but flowed perfectly when opened. Because of the design of the dress, there was no wrinkling from shipping. Also I was able to fold the dress and petticoat in a carry-on suitcase with no wrinkling! Seriously, this dress was worth every penny!

I had ordered this dress about a year ago for my sister to wear at my wedding. I loved it so much that I had to buy one for myself. Susan is excellent to work with. The dress is absolutely beautiful. Couldn't be happier!

I cannot rave enough about this gorgeous, beautiful, perfect dress and the wonderful woman who created it! I was already blown away by the photos and decided that this dress had to be my wedding dress. So, I sent in my measurements and in no time at all - SO quickly it was incredible - I had the package on my doorstep! I pulled out the dress and was awestruck - it looked and felt GORGEOUS! Then, the moment of truth: I tried it on. It fit PERFECTLY! It could not have fit better if I had been there for her to measure as she made it! I don't have to have my dress fitted at all - it's incredible! This shop, this woman and this dress are all so highly recommended forever. I am eternally grateful. Thank you SO MUCH!

I ordered this skirt for my 25th birthday because the dress I had originally planned on wearing got ruined at the cleaners. I ordered this last second and the shop owner was so helpful in answering my questions promptly and creating a custom listing for me. I was really nervous that it wouldn't show up in time, but I actually received my skirt ahead of schedule. Not only was the size perfect, but the quality and craftsmanship of the work was beautiful. My friends and family loved the skirt and even random strangers came up to me to tell me how beautiful my skirt was. I cannot say enough good things about this shop and their work. Thank you so much for making me look like a princess on my birthday!

I have to say I was worried that buying a wedding dress for $235 just seemed to good to be true. I couldn't wait to get it to see if I had made a mistake. Well I just got it and it is just as pretty as the picture. Good material, nice bead work and everything I was looking for. Best decision yet! Saved money and going to be a beautiful bride in March!

For whatever reason it won't let me upload the front view photo, so I'll figure it out and upload it later. But the dress didn't have the same design detail at all. The dress I received was very straight-across with the design, didn't have any shape to it. The dress as advertised looked much more elegant. Had I know this was what I was going to receive, I wouldn't have bought it.

I ordered a dress for my wedding in Febuary 2019. The dress isn't perfect, I'll need to tack some of the lace flowers and I'll need to change out the sash to cinch my waist a bit more but it looks amazing and worth every penny... looks like a $3000 dress and I paid a little over $400... I was terrified because the horror stories you see about ordering clothes from China but overall I'm very happy with my dress, I also ordered a farewell dress, its a little big but totally fixable.

Shopping online for a dress was such a scary experience. I had no idea who I could trust, but like most budget brides, I really didn't have a choice. After looking at Kate's work online, and talking with her about what I wanted, I had a good feeling about her. I am SOOOOO glad I chose her to make my dress. It was literally flawless. It was custom made, exactly what I asked for and what she told me she would deliver. The workmaship was very well done and the lace and materials she used were obviously high quality. I really can't believe I got such a wonderful dress for a wonderful price off of Dressafford. Kate, thank you for making me a beautiful bride for a fraction of the cost. Your work is exquisite and I am so grateful that you made me such a lovely dress.

I ordered the Midi Dot Lace Illusion dress July 3rd and it arrived July 29th. I am a size 6 to 8 in US clothing and small busted. I had a seamstress measure me and then compared the measurements to what was listed on line. I decided to go ahead and order the next size up based on the measurements which wound up being a size 12. It is really pretty, however, the petticoat is absolutely not needed as there are already lots of layers to the dress. For me the dress is way too fluffy and the tulle is bunched up in the back of the dress quite a bit. Overall a very pretty dress, but I don't think I will be wearing the dress. Unfortunately, returns are difficult since this is not an American Company and so I will just be selling the dress online.

After having a disaster of a first dress from a consignment shop, I came to dress afford with hardly a month to spare. I found a look based on a style I found in a bridal salon but was out of my price range. I placed my order on May 31st for a custom fit with a petticoat. I paid the express shipping and it came in exactly 14 days later. It looked nearly identical the one in the picture. The only difference was in the back instead of having a V shape it went straight across, which wasn't a bad thing. It was the perfect fit and it was lighter than the one I tried at the salon. Everyone is pleased. It passes the test. This is my dress! (Including a picture from the salon for comparison)

Honestly I was so nervous about getting the dress after ordering I saw all theses bad reviews and I freaked out! Today I received the dress and it's the exact dress I ordered! Fits ALMOST perfect the bust part is sitting above my breast which I'm sure I can get adjusted with a seamless where I live but the dress is perfect besides that. I was beyond nervous expecting the worse and now beyond excited

The dresses are goregous and my bridesmaids love them! Just exactly what I in vision ed and they fit great! These dresses arrived earlier than I expected and are perfect. I was skeptical because of all bad reviews, that is why I am leaving a review which I usually don't really do. So I ordered the dress and asked for the pictures once it is ready. I recived the pictures and I got stressed as the dress looked similar but different than the online picture. I tried to cancel it but I eventually I decided that they can go ahead and ship it, because for custom made dress I would get only half the price back. The dress came in the mail ON TIME few days ago and I was 100% sure I am going to hate it and I will need to find a new dress in one week but I opened it and I was shocked, it is cool and material is good, dress fits great and I am really glad I gave it a try! Totally worth it. I wanted to add pictures but this website is not letting me post any of them for unknown reason... I do not like the belt they made though so I am going to make a different one, but that is just a personal preference.

This dress wasn't that comfortable as expected and the skirt was not proportional to the top. I customized the dress and I wasn't terribly fond of it, but the quality was lovely. I will take it to the tailor to see if it can be fixed. Thanks anyway!

I'm super super happy with this shop. It's a custom design of a dress I saw on a show and I had to have it but couldn't find it. Tina was such a sweet business to work with. They were hands on and a part of everything with me, the fabric, the process, they were with me and gave me options to work with. I can't say anything bad. Definitely would work with again :)

I placed my order February 20, and recieved the dress today.
I did custom measurements.
I am so happy with the dress. Fits nice and the quality is amazing. It literally looks like an expensive dress from a boutique. Not a $203.00 usd online dress.
Josh was the BEST customer service representative. I dealt with a few but he was the best.
When ordering the dress I asked for a peticoat to be added as the dress was an A line, but I wanted a ball gown.
I asked for a corset back instead of zip.
I asked for 2 inches be added to the sleeve.
Everything met and surpassed expectations.
Bead work is beautiful. Lace work is beautiful.

The dress is wonderful.

Everything is great no matter the fabric of the dress or the type of the train.

The dress is really nice and it makes me look like a queen.

Do NOT order a dress from them! They have my money but did not deliver my dress and is now canceling the order!?! They still have my money they've had it since January 23! Don't do it, you will regret it

I ordered a custom measurement dress because I am so short, and what was sent was not at all the dress depicted on the website. What I ordered had a bloused top onto a more fitted skirt that flared after the hipline. So it should have fit at the hip. What I got was a fully gathered skirt onto elastic at the waist. Looked hideous. My hip measurmenet ws 31". Fabric at the hip measured 75"! Looked like a potato sack. Customer service would not take it back, even when I sent pics to show that it was not what I ordered. Offered me 20% refund. I should have thrown $170 down the toilet.
