Was nervous about buying such an important dress online, but couldn't find anything I loved locally. So, I took a chance! The dress was beautiful! It was high quality, sizing was accurate (used their measuring guide). Just ask them any questions, click, and buy!
Total scam. Don't buy. The dress looked cheap and smelled of chemicals. The apliques on the dress were glued on, not sowed on. My dress was also badly designed. I submitted my measurements yet the zipper hole was way too small for me to even try on the dress. I ended up calling Chase and reporting them as fraud.
I ordered a dress for my wedding and was very excited when I recieved it. However when I went to try it on it was not true to size. Was off substantially, I even double checked the measurements to ensure that it was the correct size. They do not pay for return shipping which is to china. So with the 20% handling fee and the cost of shipping it leaves very little to be refunded 60 days later. Very unhappy with the return policy! Also very unhappy with the sizing. The dress was very small and the train was for a giant. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED!
A friend ordered a dress on this site the sizes are wayyyyy smaller than what the actual size chart says online, she spent hundreds on the dress which didnt even fit. There is no contact number (which makes sense now because they are a scam!) They NEVER EMAIL you back. Its been weeks and she has still not received an email in return. All these "good reviews" are absolutely fake and please do not believe this site, they will take your money and keep it! SCAM SCAM SCAM!
I must admit when I ordered my dress I was worried, but when I opened my package and seen the dress for the first time and then put it On, I was shocked on how beautiful it is and how well it fit me. And trust me ladies when I say I am not a skinny woman, I have curves and rolls. And the Taylor's got all my measurements right. I am super pleased with this dress. Dressafford is honestly the most terrible business in the world and I am going to be reporting them to the consumer protection authorities with my main aim of having them shut down. They are operating under the NZ jurisdiction however do not comply with the CGA. They are basically advertising beautiful dresses and sending you cheap, horrible knock offs of the dress. They don't adhere to their refund, quality or exchange policy. If you want to return it, their customer service team have to reply to you and agree before they will give you any address or contact number. They can't speak English at all and eventually start ignoring you. They say so so sorry but we can't do anything further. Please ensure you leave a review if you experience the same. What I can say is, all the positive reviews are published by the dressafford team as I did some digging and their email addresses and number of reviews lead to this. The English grammar and tone is exactly the same on all the reviews. All I can say is, stay away! My dress was so ugly I'd never wear it.

The dress is even more beautiful in person! We love it. Very comfortable, versatile and just one of the favourite pieces in my wardrobe! Arrived super quickly!
I ordered a custom sized dress for my maid of honour and it arrived quickly however not the right sizing - 2 inches too small on the waist and 2 inches too small on the bust - the dress doesn't fit! The main feature was a gorgeous rose on the shoulder - the dress I got had this sad looking 'rose' that was half the size and not even CLOSE to the photo.(i'm attaching photos below) When I emailed the company with photos showing the differences and incorrect measurements their responses were. "As all our dresses are made manually, we can not guarantee that the dress is consistent with the picture." and "As all of our dresses are hand-sewn, the finished gowns may vary by approximately one inch in either direction of the specified measurements. To ensure your dress will fit you perfectly, our tailoring team will leave extra fabric in the seams for alteration." - admitting that it did not match the photo and was not the correct size (by definitely more than just one inch) and FYI there was no 'extra fabric' in the seams. They refused to give a refund as its their policy not to on custom gowns, meanwhile their regular sizing chart is so way off normal sizing you are pretty much forced to order a custom made dress. There are many other companies with hassle free return policies - STAY AWAY from this one!

I am torn on this review, because we had a 50/50 experience with this site. Here are my observations:
1) If you decide to order (which I encourage you not to do), be sure to order WAY in advance. Dresses take a LONG time to arrive.
2) Be sure you try on the dress RIGHT AWAY. They have a 14 day return policy, and if you send them an email one day outside of that time, you are completely out of all your money. We were out of town when the dresses arrived and then planning the wedding, so I didn't try mine on in time. (It was one of so many boxes...)
3) Of the two dresses we ordered, one was good (even though we still needed to alter it) and the other was absolutely terrible. Didn't look like the picture AT ALL.
4) When contacted about the second dress, they were absolutely rigid and wouldn't entertain a return, even though it was made so poorly. I sent the email within three weeks of arrival.
Bottom line: I would not order from here. It's just too much of a risk. By the time I realized how bad the dress was, I was in a scramble to find another one. I would have assumed a 30-day policy, considering how long it took to arrive, but 14 days is all you get. In the midst of crazy wedding planning, I didn't check and now I'm out all of my money. I wouldn't sell the dress, either, as I wouldn't push the bad quality on anyone else. I would have loved the dress that was pictured. I didn't get that dress.

Seller told me processing time would be 30-40 days during their busy season. But I got mine in 20 days. The one I received wasnt fancy as the one shown online but looks good. It completed the day.

My daughter is not the type of person who likes to go shopping and try stuff on. With the covid thing, we weren't sure if there would even be a prom this year (2021) but we would hate to be caught needing a dress and not have one. How do you get a pretty dress for a 5' tall young woman without spending a fortune and having to try on a bunch of "fails" in store? DressAfford! I can't believe how quickly it arrived and how beautifully it's made, tailored to her measurements. No alterations necessary! She could have chosen other colors too--but we liked the picture so decided to go with that one. We were even able to specify how long the top should be to provide modest coverage. We added the petticoat, though she probably won't wear it, and all total with the shipping even was less than $200. If you're someone who knows what styles look good on you and you are not likely to find stuff that is suitable straight off the rack, then this is an awesome solution. We are so happy! Now we're just hoping there is a prom!

I ordered my daughter's dress and received it in two weeks. Based on this I ordered two wedding dresses. I tried calling them but no one ever answers. Emails are returned with pictures of assistants that are stock pictures of models easily found in a google image search. As a result I grew weary and maintained frequent communication with the company via email, especially after the coronavirus outbreak. I recently got an email reassuring me that I would receive my dresses on time. Then suddenly that same day an hour or so later I got another email stating that material was out of stock (for both totally different dresses) and that I would be issued a refund. Just like that I was left without a wedding dress and stuck trying to find someone that will make one with no time left. I should have been informed a lot sooner that they could not fulfill orders due to the virus and not the very unlikely excuse of the material being out of stock, especially since that would mean they were out of stock for the material of most of their dresses. The reduced price was too good to be true.

This dress fit like a glove... the top fringes are not the best but I just tucked them in. I order a medium I could have used a large. I'm 5'1 and I weigh 165... for the price you can't beat it.
I travel for work and was unable to check my dress once it was delivered. Of course I do understand return policies, however, THEY SENT THE WRONG DRESS. Now they will not take the dress back that they sent me and I will not be getting the one I actually ordered. Very hurt.

I was kind of skeptical about ordering this dress based on some of the reviews. It was ordered so it would arrive way before my wedding in case it wouldnt come as described, I would have time to buy another dress. I was afraid to open the package, but when I did, I FELL IN LOVE IMMEDIATELY! It doesn't look cheap. It is also well made! I will be recommending this site to other brides to be! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!
The item pictured on their website appears to be another manufacturers picture. Sort of like they are trying to copy something legitimate and mail it to you. What we received looked nothing like the picture. The lace was different and so was the fabric underneath. The dress on the website was flowing and beautiful and the dress shipped to us was stiff and quite frankly, ugly. You can not return anything. Actually, you can but they will deduct 50% plus shipping from China which was about $78 and also "additional" fees. Dress cost $202 so you end up with nothing. They will give you 50% back minus some fee that isn't explained if you donate it to a cause they choose but you have to have a donation receipt dated 7 days from the date you tell them you are donating it. You can't mail something to an organization and receive a receipt back in 7 days. The people who emailed me were kind and responsive but their policies are not workable and not completely explained when you order. If you are up for the absolutely no refund policy you could give them a try, but then you may not even receive what you ordered. I tried to upload the photo from their website to this review and it wouldn't upload...

To conclude first, I did really like this dress, and so did my fiancee. Also, the customer service was very very helpful and responsive. The live chat was very very helpful, as they were responding to my questions and they would actually go back to the warehouse and take a picture of the dress so that I could see the dress in both ivory and white.
However, when the dress arrived, I was disappointed at first because:
1) The beads on the dress looked a bit cheap... So I actually took out most of the beads, and just kept some of the small pearls. I liked it after I removed the beads.
2) The size. So the bust, waste, length and everything was perfect as measured (i did the custom-sized dress), but the parts I was not asked to measure (e.g. Neck to chest, chest to shoulder) didn't work for me. The chest-to-shoulder/neck was too long so it looked really big on me. I actually had to sew those areas myself which took some time. However, after I altered it, I liked it much better.
Overall, very nice dress, very well made. I already wore it for my engagement photo, and will also wear it for my lunch reception!
They don't send return label. Then they give run around and tell you it's to late to return. DONT ORDER FROM THEM. CANT RETURN A 180.00 wedding dress that doesn't fit. Now I am out of 180.00 U.S. DOLLARS. DONT ORDER FROM THEM!
