Dressafford

I was looking for a bridesmaid's dress for my sister's wedding and found a beautiful dusty blue one on Dressafford. By some lucky coincidence, as I kept searching, I found the exact same dress on Jenny Yoo's website, for over double the cost. Clearly, this site is a scam that takes photos of designer dresses and pretends to sell them. See screenshot photos below.

Putting that together with all the reviews I've read about receiving ill-fitting dresses + their bad return policy, I'd say stay away!

Please avoid dressafford. I initiated a return and have had no response since. I have sent several emails and called the number which tells me to put in a number and then each time it disconnects. The dresses are vaguely like the photos with careless and poor attention to detail. Fabric pieces are sized large then made for smaller sizes. Huge seams for illusion sleeves and still too big. No way to wear these at an event. I'm uncertain whether I could even sell these to anyone and feel good about it. The grossly uneven applique work can't even be repaired because it was attached with what I believe to be fabric glue.

I am a bridesmaid in my friends wedding and this website is the route she decided to go. She wanted a navy blue, long lacey type of dress and I received a hideous purple childrens looking dress. So I emailed them (about a month ago) and STILL nothing has been fixed. Even though I've sent pictures of the dress I received and he reiterated the dress I ordered, it was enough proof to send the correct dress or get a refund. My friends wedding is in May and I can't afford another dress. If I could leave a review with 0 stars I would.

LOVE that this dress is exactly as described! Soft, shimmering chiffon! Doesn't look cheap at all! It does come with a plastic comb but its not a problem if you plan to also wear something like flowers or a headband! I'm so excited to wear this on my wedding day and highly recommend it! It seems like many other people who have left reviews had the same experience I did. Long wait, wrong color, different dress then expected and horrible return policy. U think you are saving money by going this route but in the end you are more likely to loose money and waste time waiting for the dress to finally arrive. Don't do it. Just don't.

Their wedding gown is gorgeous... When it was in the bag I had second thoughts, but after trying it on, the details in it was exquisite. From the minor details you can see that the seamstress spent a lot of time on the details. I also asked which petticoat is best for this dress and the representatives are extremely helpful. This amazing site provides exceptional customer service and their prices are really reasonable. Where else can you find great quality wedding gowns at such competitive rates.

Dresssfford is legitimate. Everything; beauty, the quality satin, and even American sizing was perfect! Even just two to three weeks, the use of DHL ship made the dress arrive on time.

Before I ordered my wedding dress, I had my doubts. Only due to really bad choices on impulse, on instagram. I now will order brides maid dresses from dress afford! Aloha!

I live over 1,000 miles away and we had great communication during the process. I was lucky enough to travel and try it on for the final fitting and take it home with me.

Overall, I would recommend the dress I purchased to others. The color (dusty blue) is about one shade darker than the listed picture. The dress runs a little bit smaller (as mentioned in many other reviews) so I join many others and suggest that you order one size larger. While it's nice that you can customize the dress using extra layers, I feel like the dress feels heavy overall and wish there were no extra layers (not that they add too much weight).

I order a dress online from dressafford.com and not only did it take 2 months to get here, when I received my dress there was a rust colored stain on the back of it and it also looked nothing like the dress in the picture at all. I emailed the customer support team where they told me that they were sorry about the stain and they would give me 10% refund or if I returned the dress completely they would only give me 80% refund and I have to pay for shipping back to CHINA. I knew I was taking a chance by ordering a wedding dress online but this has been Such a unprofessional experience and I am warning you that the dresses don't look like the picture and if you try to return it you won't get that much of your money back. Also the support team is very unprofessional and there is no customer service phone number to call its only a email address. Don't do it!

I bought my dress from this company and the dress came out looking so cheap!
If you're going to sell cheap dresses, please take photos of the cheap material you use and not stolen professional photos of actual wedding websites!
Alex has such horrible customer service and refuses to barely give any money back.
It's basically fraud for selling products that don't match the picture you're selling. So if you're having a problem with this company, you can call your bank and dispute the charge because it is fraud. ESPECIALLY if the seller won't compromise with you. At the end of the day, you're the buyer and they wouldn't even be a company without you. So you should be treated as such. It's such a shame companies like this still exist.

The piece is lovely, beautifully made with attention to detail and consideration towards personal requests. All communication was a pleasure and very prompt. Delivery was also very swift. One happy customer.

This dress is so pretty. Simple, but classic design. I sent in my custom measurements, and it arrived very quickly and was absolutely perfect. The tailoring was perfect. The satin material does wrinkle though, so be sure to keep it in a large enough storage bag and allow enough time to get it steamed before wearing. No complaints though. I loved the dress. I was iffy about ordering from China, but this particular company was a joy to do business with. Thanks again! Maureen from Texas

AMAZING! This is such a beautiful dress - and the shop owner went above and beyond to get it to me in time for a photo shoot. I'm using it as a maternity dress - very vintage glam - so well made, wonderful materials, VERY Flattering. And I'm shocked at how versatile this is. I will be buying more for after baby is born. These would be stunning for a wedding, or any special event of photo session. LOVE!

If you're looking for a skirt to wear as a bride... This is the place. I saw a TON on popular bridal sites but something was missing on all. Kathy was such a pleasure to work with... Going as far as sending samples because I was so indecisive. She completely customized my skirt so not only is it unique but it's perfect for me. The quality is amazing as well. You get everything you pay for, plus more! I'm so excited to wear it on my wedding day.
P.S. I recommend getting your measurements done by a Tailor- not doing it yourself. I did it myself and will need alterations but I'm sure if I had measurements done for me it would fit like a glove!

I love my dress, it was custom-made with measurements I provided. Fits perfectly and looks exactly as the one on the photo. Gorgeous pleated dress in a deep burgundy color. The craftsmanship and the chiffon fabric are of the highest quality. Seller created this outfit with detachable suspenders so that the skirt can be worn either without the straps (for social occasions) or with the straps (as a pre-teen school dress). Five big stars!

The dress was what we ordered. The company has you enter measurements instead of selecting a specific size. I love that. The dress fit my daughter, and it arrived in time for her high school senior year formal photos. She usually has a difficult time finding clothes that fit and are beautiful.

Susan did a wonderful job with my dress, she was so helpful in the initial phase when I had lots of questions, but was also efficient in having it delivered in plenty of time. The final result was truly unique and lovely to wear on my special day-thanks Susan!

This dress has exceeded my expectations! Incredible quality and beautiful fabric. I ordered this for my little sister for our wedding, and it fits her perfectly and she looks amazing in it. I recently bought my young daughter this dress and it turned out BEAUTIFULLY! It's made of a very soft material. The colors are very bright and gorgeous! I am so glad I found her website! I will definitely be buying more dresses from here.

I ordered a customized size of one of their wedding dresses because the size chart is only made for tall people! Although I am average height (5.3 ft), I didn't fit in the premade dresses' chart. The customer service suggested that I order a customized one which means NO RETURN because it is supposed to be MY SIZE.
Despite that, the dress was not fit. As you can see from the attached pictures, it is too large/loose in the chest area. I needed to have a tailor to make it fit for me. The costs of a tailor in the US is over $300. When I notified dressafford's customer service, I was told that they can only refund $10!
There were also two dirty spots on the dress (see the attached photos) that I needed to send for dry cleaning. Given all that, I had to dispose of this dress and buy another one!
