Being a thrift store scrounger, I often pick up ancient peripherals for my PC and sometimes they've been abandoned by their makers for so long that the drivers are no longer available - except here. The site boasts about 1.5 million drivers, ranging from the latest to the antique. There are two levels of paid membership, and a basic free mambership that offers limited access to their database. The free membership has worked fine for me so far and I can run 5 or 6 year old devices which I've dug out of bargain bins. I'd definitely look here before looking anywhere else if the drivers you're looking for are no longer officially supported.
I feel foolish if not conned by DriverGuide.com. Not being able to find the driver I wanted I fell for their clever marketing of DriverDective and downloaded it. Low and behold it found a driver I needed. So buying a premium membership with DriverGuide, I believed I was getting an 'Activation Number' for DriverDective! I didn't. All I got was a year's membership with DriverGuide; I'm so mad! I have since complained to PayPal about this misleading information. Anyone else fall for this trap?
For free membership I spent over 30 minutes signing up for junk mail from what seemed to be hundreds of different companies. Eventually I gave up as the list seemed to be endless only to receive an email congratulating me for becoming a member of DriverGuide and a link to their site. But when I went to the site I was informed that I hadn't completed the sign up process and I would have to start again
Incidentally I managed to get the driver that I needed without any fuss or having to sign up for membership from:

I downloaded the apple mobile usb driver, at 55kb/sec, Dial Up Speed. It is their server that is sending slowly, not the internet connection.
Waiting Waiting Waiting while looking at their ad that reads,"Stop wasting time on slow download process, Upgrade to Driver Easy Pro version to get 10X Faster Download Speed. Then you can download and update the driver instantly."
So I say to myself, will you pay up just because they make a download really slow? Nope, not me. And the download is 251.1 MB, for a usb driver? What garbage did they include to make a 25KB driver take forever? Who would trust these clowns with anything ever? 1 Hr 16 min to download a usb driver. What a bunch of clowns! Just skip this site and find another driver provider.
Malware site, avoid like a plaque. I downloaded a "driver" but in the end it took me about 2 hours to remove all the malware from my computer and fix my hijacked browsers.
You have been warned!
