“False advertising”

Called store about Birkenstock's Arizona Big Buckle in white, giving full description and price of shoe. Was told there we 2 in my size. I arrived at store only to find what was advertised as white online was actually a pearl/off white yet the shoe shown online was white white! I am stuck with a purchased gift card for $170 that I cannot return to Kroger! I assumed if DSW sold Birkenstock they would be authentic and true to color. The person who identified herself as a manager had no answer excepted advertising department was responsible for photos online!

I advise you that don't order anything from dsw online as they promised to process the refund but changed mind. I am giving a zero - one star review. Had a bad experience

Ordered sneakers five days ago. Order says still in progress. They take your money and then have no idea if product is in stock or when it can be delivered. Do not buy here!

Im on week 2 and still waiting. Never again. Amazon only for me from now on. If they ever show up I will take them to the store for a refund. What crappy shipping. Guess they dont care.

I am APPALLED! I have NEVER in my life received shoes that I ordered online that we're old, damaged, and used. It looks like someone literally used these shoes up until the return policy date of 60 days and then returned them. Then DSW had the AUDACITY of shipping these very clearly used and damaged shoes to me when I paid the full price of new ones. I can not believe this place is still in business. This was my first purchase through them, and I will NOT be making another one. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the other pair of shoes I ordered were fine. However, they were packaged VERY POORLY and I'm shocked they were not also damaged during shipping. I work to hard for my money to go to a company that clearly does not care about quality control.

I actually made it to DSW's 'Extra Nice List' & I buy lot of shoes from DSW. Not expecting any Queen like treatment but usually most of the reps at the Omaha Village Point store are usually lack information & when they call the manager to assist; she shows a lot of attitude even to the customers. I have had multiple bad experiences with her so far that I have now finally decided not to go there anymore.

So I finally had a moment to purchase some shoes from DSW online and I have to say it was easy and what made it even better was I had coupons saved that I thought expired and I was able to use all of them. I've purchased shoes before and they did not fit so I brought them back to the actual store in NJ, Paramus and let me tell you the cashier was wonderful polite etc. I will continue to shop at both the store and online. Good work DSW!

Until DSW starts using another carrier than FedEx, I will not place another order. My latest order shipped on May 22 -it's gone from miami to pompeno FL, to Georgia, and is now "in route" to North Carolina, and I live in Alabama! Today is May 30 - who knows when or if i will get my order. I am done with DSW…. Because of FedEx!

I bought a pair of boots awhile back from DSW and when I received them I got 2 left boots that were totally different brands. They made it right and shipped me a new pair. Then I bought a pair of sneakers…… I knew something was wrong when o opened the package and there was no top to the box! I looked at the sneakers and they were literally just thrown in and had appeared to be worn. So I called and they said to ship them back and they'll send me a new pair. So now this required me to find a box because the pair they sent didn't come w a proper box. So later I finally received my new pair except they literally came the same way the last pair did…. No proper box, just tossed in and appeared to have been sitting around for a year. This time I took them back to the store where the manager was nothing but condescending! Refused to give me a refund only store credit because when I purchased the original pair it was over 60 days. So here I am I purchased another pair because I had a credit. So I purchased a pair of slip on shoes I just received them today and as expected they were thrown in a box and the bottoms look like they have been worn. I am exchanging them and fingers crossed they can send me a brand new pair that is packaged like they are new. Honestly how can they screw up this many times in a row with 3 completely different pairs of shoes is beyond me.

BS! Spoke to 3 customer service reps about my order and was told the same things. It was "in process" and would be delivered in 1-2 days. I was promised 4-7 days in the beginning. I am on my 31st day. I do not have time everyday to contact CSR. NEVER EVER WILL ORDER FROM AGAIN!

DSW dent a $30 coupon off $49 purchase purchase. What they don't tell you is that. 99% of the shoes are excluded. These designer shoes are not posted through out the store. Buyer beware.

They can't fit my narrow feet. Zappo's and Nordstrom are the place to go if you want a good selection of cute shoes in sizes other than the total mainstream, as I do.

My boot look different than the website of what I ordered.And the boots is to small this is literally the 3rd pair is to small. And the boot I looked at had no heel this boot does.

I HAD THE GREAT MISFORTUNE OF ORDERING FROM DSW. NEVER GOT MY ORDER. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE 5 TIMES. THE FIRST 4 AFTER ABOUT 15-25 MINUTES I WAS DISCONNECTED. THE FIFTH TIME I WAITED OVER AN HOUR FOR SOMEONE TO PICK UP AFTER DEALING WITH THE COMPUTER. THE ANSWER I GOT FROM THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP: KEEP ON WAITING. ITS BEEN TWO WEEKS. BUT KEEP WAITING. HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT? ANSWER: JUST TRY BACK IN A COUPLE DAYS TO SEE IF DSW WILL START AN INVESTIGATION. NOW I HAVE TO CONTACT GOD KNOWS WHO TO REPORT THEM FOR TAKING MY MONEY AND NEVER SENDING ME THE PRODUCT. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND I DO MOST MY SHOPPING ONLINE. ITS DISGRACEFUL THAT PEOPLE RUN A COMPANY LIKE THIS. IF I WASNT SO MAD, I WOULD BE EMBARASSED FOR THEM.

I swear sometimes the customer service I receive from live chat and email (excuse me, I mean "Shoephoria" as they call it) truly makes me think they are messing with me. Simple fixes turn into a 3 ring circus with a direct warp into a time suck of frustration and high blood pressure. Example: an item missing from my order that I was charged for should be a simple fix, nope! Missing points from my rewards should be simple to track, nope! Simple questions with a reference listed in their policies should be simple to explain, nope! Communication with these people is beyond frustrating. I'm considering closing my account and never spending my money there again after this merry go round of annoyance and idiocy they call customer service. At this point, I feel duped, I feel like they stole from me, and I feel like they are giving me the run around. I'll just have to go to the store to resolve this (since that's really convenient!) and hope for the best. While they do have great deals and a pretty decent selection, if anything goes wrong with your order, good luck chuck. I would rather pay more for the bare minimum decent customer service I can find anywhere else rather than take a deal and receive zero customer service at the utmost insulting level from people who clearly don't care or read for that matter.

If I could rate this place no stars I would. It was my first time shopping here. Wanted to see what the hype was about. INSTANT REGRET. I ordered two items, and only received one. DSW VIP member huh? Anyway, I contacted customer service and some lady told me she would send me a replacement no charge. Alright, I waited and at least for a confirmation number like she said i would. That never happened. I contact them again, lady says the same thing like the other lady didn't tell me that. But she also says she will refund me $5. I check my bank acc later that night and i have a $8 charge from DSW. At this point im fed up and don't want anything from here anymore. I contact customer service again and he says my orders already processed and that he can't refund me anymore and a whole bunch of crap. Now im still waiting on these shoes and REST ASSURED I will never shop here again. DO NOT SHOP HERE! CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AND THEYRE LIARS.

I was looking for some new shoes to wear on an upcoming trip (7 day cruise to Alaska). I've been in love with the black and white Guess shoes for several years now but unfortunately they've stopped making them in the black and white. I decided to check out DSW.con because I've heard wonderful things about them in the past.
Before purchasing I looked around for any deals or coupon codes online and found one for $20 off any $40 or more purchase - I found the shoes I wanted, black and white converse and immediately checked out. I typed in the coupon code I had found online but the site wouldn't accept it. I tried about 4-5 times before giving up and opting to contact customer service via live chat. At this point I had about 10 minutes before I had to leave the house for an appointment but the lady was super nice and quickly worked with me to figure out that the code I was trying was a misprint. I figured that I was s. O. l. And would have to either leave the shoes behind or pay full price. BUT, the super awesome lady offered to honor the code by having me purchase the shoes at full price and then give her my order # so she could go in and refund the $20 - I just received my credit card statement a few days ago and sure enough she had knocked off $20.
The shoes arrived in less than a week, look SUPER cute and the best part, they're very comfortable.

I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

I ordered a pair of boots online and recieved the wrong size, so I had to go to the store, according to the website, that had my size. They didn't have my size so I had to return the boots and make another order. I just received my correct size but the boots look awfully worn and my excitement for the shoes is just GONE. Now I'm not sure if it's even worth it to try and make an exchange since customer service is TERRIBLE.
