Have an upcoming trip to Italy with my boyfriend and love the selection they have at DSW. Never shopped here before but glad I found it. Purchased some cute shoes for my trip.
Called store about Birkenstock's Arizona Big Buckle in white, giving full description and price of shoe. Was told there we 2 in my size. I arrived at store only to find what was advertised as white online was actually a pearl/off white yet the shoe shown online was white white! I am stuck with a purchased gift card for $170 that I cannot return to Kroger! I assumed if DSW sold Birkenstock they would be authentic and true to color. The person who identified herself as a manager had no answer excepted advertising department was responsible for photos online!
Placed an order for shoes on 4/22/20, noticed an error in street address one number incorrect. I tried for 2 days to contact DSW Customer Service, disconnected 6 times in 2 days, sent 2 emails, one immediately of order and one next day. Item shipped 4/23, address still incorrect and I cannot reach Customer Service. They say services may be slower because of COVID 19, but they take your money right away and ship rapidly. No contact opportunity for customers is not virus' fault DSW simply does not care about customers they just want money. I will probably never see the shoes I paid for. Worst Customer Service of any company I have dealt with in my lifetime!
I am very disappointed with DSW. On 06/26 I had a pair of shoes delivered, however I did not receive them. So I went through all the steps with FedEx. They didn't help me, so I contacted DSW and they said they would either get me another pair of shoes or a refund. I opted for the refund. Well it has been twice now they said they processed the refund. I never received it, so I contacted them and they tell me there was a system issue so the refund didn't go through. I just want my refund.

I see everyone lusting after these MBT shoes that "give you a workout" while you walk... and they are right. That design really does make you feel like you are walking on sand and gives you a good thigh/glut workout. MBT shoes are expensive as heck and when I wore my first pair out I couldn't afford the second. On DSW I found a sketcher knock off for less than 1/3 of the price of MBT and they work just as well, so check them out at a store or online.
I was concerned about getting an issue resolved regarding a shipping to an incorrect address due to reviews I have ready, but it was so easy to get my issue resolved today when speaking to James. Can recommend!
I ordered a pair of shoes from the store. They did not send the shoes. I have waited for a month and at the end of the month they told me that the shoes were no longer available. The worst online store I have ever seen. Do not even try to shop with them.
I ordered boots weeks ago, never received them. I called Customer Service several times and was told a different deliver date. The customer service rep hung up on me, another one gave me misinformation about a delivery date and a supervisor Patrick gave me another delivery date. This company steals your money and your merchandise is held up

I bought a pair of flip-flops. Rocket dogs at the DSW in Garland, Texas. I wore them for one day, and they hurt. They left a blister but I had no other shoes to wear so i had to wear them for the day They are defective. The manager of the store said i could not return them because i wore them and she couldn't resale them. I repeated that they are defective, and she again said she can't resale them because i wore them. So i am wondering why she would resale defective shoes. And why she could not refund my money. I guess they dont stand by their shoes. You can see the lump on the left one thats defective

Paramus NJ store on 3 separate days & times. All 3 times the store was a disaster. Piles of shoes, boots, & boxes all over the aisles. Each time I found a shoe I wanted to purchase but either there was only 1 shoe or I couldn't even dig through the piles to find anything. Each time I asked an employee for help finding something I was told to check on-line. If I wanted to go on line don't you think I would have done that! I'm about ready to cut my rewards card up since I can never take advantage of it anyway.
Good selection of shoes. Site organized well. They have free exchanges. I once bought a pair of shoes that had a defective velcro strap. I exchanged it for free. Shipped it back and got a better pair of shoes. They also do exchanges and returns in store even if you bought it online. Love it!
I ordered a pair of shoes and paid $15. For expedited delivery. When the shoes didn't arrive in 2 days, I spent a great deal of time trying to get through to a real person. I don't like their phone heaven. They said they couldn't track the package and referred me to Fed Ex. I called Fed Ex and they were unable to track my package. When my package arrived, the Fed Ex folks left a tag instead of the shoes saying they needed a signature to deliver. DSW denied that they require a signature to deliver, however, the only choice they gave me was to go and pick up the shoes at rush hour in downtown Miami. I am not sure who is responsible for this but they were less than helpful.
I have never been more disappointed in customer service as I was with DSW. My order was never delivered. After going back and forth they agreed to send me a replacement. Aftermore then adequate time I began to question the status of my replacement item. I was given vague answers for over a week. Eventually they just canceled my order and offered me a discount on another order. I told them I didn't want a discount, just my originally ordered product. All of my emails fell on deaf ears and I only received responses in broken English. I will never be doing business with them again and I hope this review helps others from being disappointed.

I placed an order online Sunday evening and within 10 minutes realized I had order the wrong item. I called customer service and canceled the order. I was assured it was in fact canceled. Imagine my surprise when yesterday I received an email stating the item shipped! I again called customer service who agreed I had canceled the order. Money was taken from my bank account. No way to stop shipment and now I have to wait for delivery send item back and wait an additional 5 days for a refund! Rip off. Not even an apology from them. NEVER again will I buy from or recommend DSW!
If you need a customer service representative anytime soon, you are out of luck. I have been on a call back list for 2 days. I have left emails and tried to do a live chat with no response. Such poor customer service. Shame on you Shoeforia.
I tried to get logged on to my account to use a coupon that was sent to me in the mail. The coupon was mailed to my husband or current resident. The lady I chatted with on their customer service line told me I would have to use my husband's account. We both have the same email account and bank account, and I tried to explain that to her. The current resident on the address line implied that it could be used by anyone any way. To make matters worse, when I tried to send an email to their customer service email link, the link didn't work. I didn't order my shoes, and I feel like DSW did not meet any of my customer service expectations.
Evil people put trashcans in the isles and my grandma tripped.the door closes way to fast and i was hungry and wasn't offered anything. That's when i decided to eat some socks. The belts were a good thing to wash them down with.
I order from these guys always never had a problem... The shoes are great and the prices are as well... I was reading some of the reviews and I never had a problem with returning items, getting a refund or anything else...
I've been a loyal customer and shopped at DSW for years. I've also placed a lot of online orders. I've never had issues until this week with any of my orders. DSW double charged me and refused to correct the problem even though it was obvious! I even supplied DSW proof - sending them my PayPal statement and a copy of my bank statement. I've had to go through dispute resolution with PayPal and it has been a nightmare dealing with DSW. Each time I call, I am put on hold for 20+ minutes, finally resulting in hanging up and having to email them and wait a day or two for a response I don't think I will ever order online from DSW again.
After you spend a long time looking for a pair of shoes, you expect to pay the price on the sticker and NOT be told that the store failed to change the sticker on the shoes when they changed the sticker on the box. The store would not honor the clearly visible lower price, which I find unacceptable.
I reached out to them for three days about not wanting an exchange order to be placed, and to not charge my account. They assured me several times that I would not be recharged and that they would notify me before they would even think about charging me for anything. They lied, I got charged anyways without any warning and overdrafted. I spoke to Three different people and sent emails to make sure it wouldn't happen and it still did! The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Save your money and order from somewhere else because they overcharge anyways.

Very disappointed. No sales help for one. And they put sale signs above shoes that are not on sale. So when you get the regester you get a surprise. I was told if they don't have your shoe size you can order them, pay for them they will l come to the store. And if your not happy they will refund you..
I have ordered twice online. Both times the incorrect shoe was sent. I always receive the correct brand just a different style of shoe. Now both times I have lost out on special promotions because those promotions have always expired once the item is received. The purpose of online shopping is so that you do not have to go into the store. Now once again I have to go back in to return a shoe. They have to have the most incompetent staff to continue to allow this to happen. Why should the customer have to jump through so many hoops. Online they said I can reorder once the item has been received back. The receipt doesnt even show what was even sent out. There is something seriously wrong with this company.
Ordered shoes on 10-7-17. Received ship notification on 10-11-17. Tracking links in email have message that tracking info wasnt available and suggested contacting the carrier, but no tracking number or carrier was provided. Two calls to customer service - voice element didnt work. Wait time cited as 1.5 hours and then 4 hours. Attempt to chat got a busy try later message and then asked if I wanted transcriptnof chat that never occurred. Just need a delivery date so I can plan accordingly. This has been frustrating. Even my email to cancel was to no avail. Horrible customer service. Will not use their online feature again. My just get my shoes elsewher. Hope others have better experience.
I hate to write such a horrible review, however it must be done. I ordered shoes on DSW online for the first time, excited to get so many deals. Well, they sent the wrong shoe, completely wrong size and style. When I called, the rep was helpful and said I could exchange them at the store. I went to the closest store and the cashier return the show that was sent to me and not the actually shoe. I then called customer service and the rep was helpful.
I took a chance and ordered online again. Guess what, WRONG SHOE AGAIN! Frustrated, I called customer service and the rep told me it's unfortunate however there's nothing we can do or compensate you for your time. You'll just need to return the shoes at the store! WTF! Beware online shopping here, you'll get the wrong shoe and if you call to complain, they will treat you like it's your fault.
