As a designer and home stager I signed up for Houzz Pro over 2 years ago for $49/month. Since then the price has skyrocketed to $299/month with no additional services. When I was sold on the "Pro" account it came with a dedicated support member that would check in with me. That is long gone.
In fact, I am not sure how you even call yourselves a corporation. Clearly customer service agents work from home, are disconnected from anything regarding my account. They only have outgoing calls to calendar invites and BOT responses.
Your tech isn't great. Moodboards, pro account and other features have constant bugs and weird inconsistencies.
Not only did it skyrocket without my consent, BUT I have spent the last two years dealing with multiple accounts set up with my same email AND multiple charges for the same services. This means one for $249/monthly and another for $209/monthly.
I am no longer playing nice. I have called, emailed, asked for call backs, been told accounting would call me back and address my case. NONE of that has happened and magically the last time I called complained and asked to cancel you renewed my subscription for another year without my consent until May 2025.
Also, many of the features we used and paid for as part of that original offering changed overnight (time keeper allowing us to track time for client projects was removed overnight and added to an additional premium package without our consent. We lost all our client data of back timekeeping).
The BIGGEST issue is by far your customer support team. I am so extremely angry with the ethics that I have witnessed over the last 12 months that I have every intention of reporting you to the better business bureau and any other reporting organization. Not to mention I'd love to call out your executive team. What a joke. I have reached out SO MANY TIMES about the duplicate charges and duplicate account. The practice of continuing to charge me twice and responding back without ANYTHING close to a resolution or investigation is UNETHICAL.

My next step is to send this evidence and case to my attorney and have him take it from here. My estimate is you have double charged me for the same services now going on 2 years or roughly $2988 of overage.
Tip for consumers:
They are awful. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
